Hive Mind

A memorable waxy honey fragrance along the same vein as Zoologist Bee, but the sweetness is tempered by cedar - lots of cedar. There is a subtle bitter citrus, warm ambery resinousness and there is a quality reminding me of crisp white wine (mead?). There is something floral in there in perfect harmony with the cedar, citrus and honey. It borders on masculine for me, but is more or less unisex. Between my clothing and skin, I could smell it for 4 hours, projection was moderate and faded to a skin scent. It is so well-balanced it can benefit from being over-sprayed. It does not develop dramatically asides from the boozy woody base notes coming through more, which may be a positive if you love the initial spray. The dry, citrussy, woody crispness makes this refreshing like a honey cocktail on a hot day. I do not detect any synthetic quality. I think this is an excellent perfume for its price.

Beautiful!! Sweet, citrus honey. The honey is not too strong - it isn't the honey of supermarket honey, but something nicer. It doesn't develop hugely, other than the citrus fading, but this is okay for me. It is so strongly Spring, and it makes me happy! I want to wear it all of the time, to shout 'We're out of Winter! Spring is here!' One of the first times I wore it, I thought that I could smell the spring bouquet I was carrying from a store, but it was actually wafts of this perfume radiating from my neck pulse points. I don't always notice it strongly throughout the day, but it stays on my skin to some extent for hours. Today, it's still faint on my wrist around 9 hours later. I only spray once, and don't do any tricks to improve longevity (like lotion)
