Eucalyptic

This scent is like a dry and wet sauna after left over eucalyptus branches are set aside, the woodyness is dry and uplift and the water notes are still some how cool. It’s so beautiful and aromatic. I was so afraid it would be masculine but it is dead set unisex, anyone could wear it. The more I smell it on me the more pissed I am😭😭😭 I want to smell and own it forever so repurchase it always.

This has the body of a fougere with a spa like, fairy twist. It’s very gentle and pulls on the vegetal, aromatic, and herbaceous elements of the eucalyptus. It is not camphoreous or bracing. The other predominant notes for me are lavender and vetiver. The lavender gives a high end barbershop feel while the vetiver imparts a smoothness. The watery note feels very violet leaf. The amber woods in the base is reminiscent of Parisian Musc. Overall, Eucalyptic reminds me of shower with a bouquet of fresh silver dollar eucalyptus and a creamy aromatic body wash. The shower is definitely indoors and made of white marble, with fluffy white bath towels waiting. It’s squeaky clean and a breath of fresh air. Optimal occasion is a leisurely morning walk on a warm, humid day in late spring.

On first spritz, it’s eucalytus but that passes so fast it’s like it never was. Just a lightning shot and gone. Next up is a sort of herbal water pleasantness with hints of lavender fabric softener. Clean but edging ever so slightly on synthetic. Five minutes later, it’s barely detectable. I’m mostly smelling a clean warmth, hint of herbs and wood. I like it very much but I’m not sure there’s enough oomph here for the price. This might be a very nice Clean Reserve fragrance at this point. There’s a soft muskiness (not listed in the notes) that puts it into that territory for me. Again, like this a lot, but not sure it’s worth $300 a bottle to me.
