Passiflora

Passiflora is lovely, but not what I was expecting. I am very familiar with the scent of passionflowers, as I spent many years of my childhood living in a commune in Northern California that was overrun with them. I know their scent to be delicate, fruity, and sweet. Passiflora is none of those things. When I first smelled it, I was seriously concerned that they’d mistakenly sent me a sample of Little Flower, instead. I own LF, and there is a green, refreshing clarity present in both, especially in the top notes. I wore them side by side to compare, and walked away feeling comforted that they aren’t the same scent, but absolutely similar. I don’t smell precisely the same scent, but they have extremely close effects to one another. Passiflora is warmer, softer, and deeper. LF is more light and springy, in comparison, as well as sharper. I think both read as deeply unisex; I would not say either is more feminine or masculine than the other. Passiflora has deep, green and amber accords. Imagine a forest at golden hour, light flickering through chartreuse leaves and wooden branches. Although I don’t smell a relationship between the name and the perfume, it’s gorgeous! I liked it far more than I thought I would, and if I didn’t already own Little Flower, I could see myself upgrading from my sample to the 8ml.

Available for one month only and $190 for 8 ml's. I could understand if it was an oil but an EDP?! Absolutely not. I'm not going to give a rating just because I dislike the price vs. size though. That would be really uncool of me lol and I'm not "one of those people"....you know who you are!

The amount they’re charging for 8ml’s is absolutely insane. After purchasing several of their fragrances this actually left a bad taste in my mouth for the brand altogether, greed at its finest.
