Aksoum

I love this! I am not a white floral fanatic, nor do I particularly like tuberose so I was a bit hesitant, but these are the types of white floral fragrances that I gravitate towards. Clean and crisp with that bright bergamot and gorgeous petigrain! This is so well balanced and creamy, slightly soapy, but in the best and cleanest way possible. Nothing heady and too floral for my taste. I am a big fan of Dominique Ropion, but even if I didn't know he was the perfumer, I would still love this. Moderate projection, nothing beast mode, definitely has that sophisticated French perfume vibe. This is like you just washed your hands with some fancy bar soap and tucked yourself into some crispy white bed linens at a bougie hotel! Nice longevity too, I got a solid 6 hours! Lovely!

My hat off to DR. It's such a dreamy white floral fragrance. Light as fog, elegant as fairy. The soapy opening of orange blossom is mellowed by creamy tuberose , and the sandalwood base steadies the whole recipe. My heavenly combination of neroli, white flower and sandalwood. It reminds me of Dia by Amouage, but the neroli and sandalwood leads to a very different direction.

Being told that you can still be smelled in the sheets and are deeply missed is one of the most special compliments that you can get with perfumes. The culprit- Aksoum. Soapy, sandalwood bliss. I would also disagree with the comments on performance. This may not project or fill a room, but it lasts 8+ hours on skin and even longer on clothes.

Very soapy but light as a feather. Should have been called paper soap but I own that from j scent. I agree with the reviewer below. It is reminds me of Dia Woman as well. A more delicate version of Dia. Airy, soft and feather light. Like soap bubbles. This was my favorite of the whole line. Which is a shame because I actually except more for the price point. Thank goodness I got this sample set free thanks to Fragrantica contest but I'm not over impressed with the line as a whole. This one is the best and smells the best quality. Many in this line are loaded with ambroxan, and amber super and I could smell it off the bat before I even looked up the notes. Modern perfumery is screwed if they are going to rely on these chemicals in such huge amounts. If you like perfumes like Amouage Dia Woman or J-Scent Paper Soap, or Byredo Blanche. Or even Phlur Missing Person you will like Aksoum. I should upgrade this to a love. I really adore fragrances that have that soft, musky soap bubbles smell.

An absolutely well done white floral. I ordered this through scentsplit as I definitely wanted to try it before I bought a full bottle. If you like a white floral that is on the lighter side and really non-offensive, this is it. The bergamot at the beginning brings the freshness and keeps the tuberose from being cloyingly sweet. The musk/sandalwood/patchouli in the dry down are very well balanced and I appreciate that as all three can be overwhelming when not blended well. This is definitely not a unisex scent, unless you are a man and you’re use to rocking feminine scents. I find the silage to be about arm length. Longevity is a few hours on the skin, longer on clothes. Because it is not a beast, you could wear this in a office environment without offending.

We know how heady white flowers can be, right? Well this is definitely not the case. They are very tamed and powdery here, milky and fruity facets are pronounced, I can smell sweet citruses like mandarin orange. This is a light inoffensive fragrance which makes you smell clean. Very nicely done. Feminine.

Un perfume de puro y duro Jasmin es lo único que le siento y un poco de sándalo estilo TamDao de dyptick. Dura mucho y proyecta otro montón. Lo único malo que tiene este perfume es que abre muy femenino, pero después cambia se pone masculino.

The sandalwood mess this one for me.

I ordered a sample set from RdS which includes ten of their fragrances. I must say that I am impressed by the quality of all of them even though some of them are not to my taste. Aksoum is the freshest one among them and it was instant love. It is fresh ,creamy ,powdery, soapy...but that describes a hundred other fragrances ,while I find that the quality of this one is unique.

A very lovely fresh scent but just like a reviewer below mentioned, it doesn’t last long projection wise. It’s very intimate but does last long on skin and clothes. Would be great for someone who likes fresh and clean skin scents or someone who works in healthcare I would think as it just smells clean and put together without being intrusive.

Citrus here is toned downed and white flowers overtake scent giving it powdery, creamy and soapy vibes. Feels like I had showet with soap and used some white flower lotion on skin in hotel. I tried to find anything in my collection to compare it with, but it differs from Prada Amber and nothing like Nivea.

Soapy, floral and woody. Very intense notes of bergamot and petit grain, followed by floral notes, big jasmine note, the drydown is woody with a slightly sweet sandalwood and patchouli drydown. It is elegant and clean, it leans feminine in the first hour the drydown is more neutral.

Starts of with coconut and tuberose and dries down to the most gorgeous orange blossom and Musk note. No Silage but last a very long time on skin. The musk note in this smells like my brothers cat :)

I am sorry to say I do not like this perfume at all. It reminds me of hand soap.

A very soapy scent. A scent of a good quality soap in a good hotel. That is all
