I ordered a samplepack just because this perfume was there too, and I was very curious. This scent is gorgeous! I can feel the raindrops as they fall onto the asphalt of Budapest streets. The fruity notes are particularly apt, I feel it as I walk past the trash can filled with half-rotten fruit. Then I walk past a cafe, I go in there and stay. The bread accord is very interesting too. For me not a wearable scent (yet) but truly an elaborated, beautiful scent. Thank you, and congratulations! 😊

Tried this in the store the other day and I have to say it's captivating. Fantastically blended, I love how it starts off with this fruity opening and gently morphs into a smooth, creamy coffee. Fantastic work by the prefumer and amazing in concept as well. Perfect for fall and winter imo.

A bit confused about the concept: so many tropical notes for an Eastern-European city. And so warm and spicy to be associated with rain. For me, Budapest Rain is dominated by the cognac and then the honey. It does remind me of old coffee houses and old ladies from the Buda side wearing fur coats and strong lipstick. A hint of chocolate and coffee is also there. I did not get the banana at first, but on the second wear I did. It's a fun note, have not encountered it too much in other fragrances. Overall, pretty gourmet. Now that I think about it, I can imagine someone reaching for it on a cold rainy day to find comfort.
