Oudmanthus

Just got my nose on this new batch. First impressions: it’s a very luxurious floral oud that has sweet, slightly animatic, and slightly metallic qualities. The marketing/inspiration of liquid gold is fitting. There is also something so rich about seeing shimmers of real gold on your skin. It’s not a ground breaking composition but it’s a very nice fragrance that is reasonably priced. Thoughts after a day and evening of wearing: It’s a gorgeous scent and the vibe of it, along with the 23k gold, has had me in an empowered mood all day. It may be the overwhelming Texas heat but the floral qualities did die down within about an hour or so. It’s definitely an oud dominant, evening leaning fragrance but the florals notes do provide an intoxicating sillage. Walking through a restaurant, venue, etc with this fragrance will definitely garner attention. Performance, composition, and price are acceptable. Overall I’m a fan and recommend sampling!

I've bought full of this serie, i liked them all but 2 of them are beast, 2 of them smells great! Oudmanthous is in the smell side, it smells very good and very balanced. But i can't say the same for performance, it doesn't long last as De Licious & Genious. But the gold particles in it... that is a very good decoration item for my collection.

Fragrance opens with a juicy plum and a shimmering floral bouquet highlighted by the sweet flower of the osmanthus; with a hint of Laotian oud, the perfume starts to become more woody and continues to alternate until the end these layers: sometimes sweeter, sometimes more woody; until it comes close to drying with a musky touch once again the signature of Casa Renier.
