Vetiver driven fragrance, actually reminds me of Encre Noire, just a tad lighter. After a few wears, I can say I really like the drydown. Opening is a bit harsh and honestly messy, but when the drydown hits you get a nice vetiver fragrance. Longevity is average. Projection above average. A solid scent. Not sure about the price, though. I got a 50ml bottle for €16,95 which is the price range I can recommend this one. Most discounters seem to be asking way higher at the moment.

Ordered this. Do not like. It is good quality for sure, you get a cheap terre d hermes that will fool most But I don’t really like terre that much. This is all vetiver, dry woody woodsy woods. It could do with a juicy fruit or something. Very 30 plus, masculine. Good but not want I want.

First impressions - a light application to my arm: warm and earthy, yet fresh too. Very pleasant - I particularly like the tea notes when I get them (they’re not up front). Very approachable (not overpowering), yet not flabby or weak. Currently a snip at £15 from TK Max (20 Sep 2019).

Oh god, how I love this fragrance! It’s very unique and spicy.

In the very early opening there is a slight reminiscence of the traditional TdH but quite quickly this takes on it's own character. The Vetiver is very heavy and stays out in front all the way through - almost as bold as the Vetiver in Encre Noire a L'extreme. Red Dragon pulls things back towards a youthful stance with the Cardamom and Tea notes that give it a very fresh green feel. Tdh stands well apart with it's warm, woody, 'dirty' Vetiver-Oranginess while Red Dragon pitches a fresh, slightly sour, green but peppery Vetiver scent that is bold rather than harsh so possibly a bit closer to TdH Eau Intense Vetiver (to my nose at least). I like it. Anytime, anywhere except possibly really hot climates because that sourness and the heavy Vetiver could be a bit too strong.

Thanks, guys for your reviews and comparison to TdH, which I love to wear during autumns. Red Dragon definitely has a similar vibe to it, but citruses are replaced with cardamom and tea (both among my favorite notes). I'm trying it out today for the first time. Seems that longevity could be better, but one can always respray, because this quite inexpensive. On the other hand, value for money is very good!

It has lots of asian smelling scents in it, smells like asian tea and spices, never been to east asia but this is how i would imagine restaurants to smell like. Its really underrated, got it for 20$ 100ml, insane value. Especially recommended for asian guys.

Really good and pleasant perfume for this price. Ideal for everyday use, won't bother anyone. Longevity - 4-5h

UPDATE: This is a summer banger. If Hermes released those cheap, annual summer editions you get in airports, a la CK One, this would be it! "Terre d'Hermes Summer 2024" could come in a light green-accented bottle, to illustrate it's youthful nature. If you don't fancy that concept, then how about "Terre d'Hermes Cologne"? EDIT: 6 months after opening, this has smoothed out quite nicely. Having started off with a bit of a thin and scratchy feel, it has now softened-up and now a smooth cardamon is more perceptible, along with a green/fruity accord from the tea & geranium. It's become a strong like - a great Td'H offshoot that always seems to receive a positive comment when I wear it.

Tested today on my wrist, the drydown is exactly the same same as Chandan by Padmini, which is sharp smelling sandalwood incense stick, monodimensional, that i like to burn in the house when i want to create a not so special atmosphere. The opening is a lot better but i got the impression that there was no middle phase, just an opening and then a quick transition into the sandal base. Maybe i have enjoyed these sticks so many times that this frag does not click with me, i prefer the incense

Guys if you can't afford Byredo Sunday Cologne - here it is 100% exact brother! Costed 30 bucks on sale, 100ml. Byredo would've costed 4-5 times the amount. Save some cash and buy this one - magnificent scent and long lasting!

Super similar to Banana Republic’s Cypress Cedar — another very oriental spicy woodsy scent which leans more masculine. But I can imagine wearing this myself as a base for other flowery/woody perfume.

Pleasant and calming fragrance. Notes of cardamom, green tea and vetiver work together well. It's not strong, however.. But for the little time it lasts, it's enjoyable.

Terre d'Hermes but instead of orange you get cardamom. On my skin green tea and bamboo notes are in the front. Essentially, it's a green TdH instead of citruses.

Fantastic smell. Poor silage, awful atomiser - barely anything comes out. Shame as the scent is so good.

It's green aspect somehow reminds me of JPG Le Male without the vanilla sweetness...
