Cherish

Yay, glad to see Cherish has been added! I love this perfume, and the mist is good too. It has some tartness from the green apple and grapefruit, with some fresh floral notes. I don’t get much of the cedar/ musk on the dry down (if it’s there it’s very faint). It doesn’t smell like The Fragrance/ Body By Victoria (discontinued) exactly, but anyone who liked that one & is familiar with that one would probably like this one. Very fresh, uplifting and clean smelling. **violetgoblin- I love your perfume/ scent and “time travel” memories, as always!

Glad to see this listed. I remember seeing Cherish on the dusty shelves of my local eastern shore of Maryland Roses store (think crappy Kmart, yes, the low end Kmart) circa 1998. It sat with the lovely Jovan, Dana, and Coty fragrances. Near the expired (believe it) Jane foundations and Covergirl Nail Slicks. I never smelled it, I was in my Comptoir Sud Pacifique phase and loving my then Signature: Victoria's Secret Peach Hyacinth. Lately, however, I've been terribly nostalgic of my life in the 80s (childhood, teens) and 90s (late teens, twenties), looking for fragrances to pleasantly evoke that time in my life. I've come across several which include Coty Wild Musk and Jovan Musk, as well as returning to an old favorite of mine from 1995, Coty Vanilla Musk. This was a fragrance recommended by user RB2002 and I'm so glad she did. While I never wore Cherish, it reminds me of those bright, happy, light fragrances of the 90s: Sunflowers, Calgon Morning Glory, the Gap Day (the black sheep of the 1996 Gap release which included the iconic Dream and Heaven, and their darker, popular sister Om), Garden Botanika Mimosa, The Body Shop Juba oil, L'eau d'Issey, BBW Happy Daisy, Charlie White, and a personal favorite, Eddie Bauer Balance. Cherish definitely gives me strong Balance connotations. Not much body or depth, just a breeze of citrus, freesia, and light musk. Very nice for a little trip back to the late 90s, appealing and easy to wear. My friends and I would have been all over this circa 1997. Reminds me of a better time. It brings me back, really, to the halcyon days of the Bath and Body Works with the blue gingham awning and the shampoo and face wash they sold in white bottles with blue caps and their original gingham perfume. Innocent and fresh. Also very remiscent of the BBW's 1998 Sheer Scents line which included Whispering Flowers and Pure Sunshine.

I wish I still owned a bottle of this again, I was gifted this by my best friends mom as a Christmas present in my really early teens. This would have been in 2003 or 2004 just to put this into perspective. I loved the scent from the nozzle right away! I was probably 13 or barely 14 when I got this and I thought it smelled so nice and fresh and feminine. I'd never smelled a floral like this before, so light and airy but still packed quite the punch. I remember this lasting forever in my hair and on my clothes and skin surprisingly, seeing that the brand was Revlon which I knew to be a drugstore brand. I got many compliments on it in middle and high school so I'd say at least give it a try.

O HHH My I am in love love love. This CHERISH COLOGNE that performs as a perfume is Springtime on my skin and in the air, It's so beautiful, fresh, light with a punch, airy, clean, refreshing, Youngish yet mature it's "ETERNAL " says Fragrantica, I love every single note, All that I need and want in a perfume.I purchased this CHERISH about 5 months ago, let her sit in the closet, took her out today and fell in love....... Can't wait to stock up on this, If they relaunched this believe me it would sell Did I mention CURRENT? Not dated at all , Absolutely a huge❤️❤️from me
