Insurrection II Wild

A TOBACCO-SWEET PREMIUM OUTSIDER Many people have asked themselves the inevitable question of whether or not to buy a clone. Sometimes it's a good choice, with price and availability being the top two reasons. Is it justified? Well, in my opinion, it is always justifiable if the inspiring fragrance is discontinued. Wild Insurrection II is a dupe for "A*Men Pure Havane" by Thierry Mugler. Reyanne Tradition did well with this inspired fragrance and I bought it after reading so much praise about it. I have tried to overcome Mugler EdT's low availability for a period of time. I currently have two bottles of Pure Havane, but it is almost impossible to get it anywhere since three years ago. I admit I didn't expect to be so pleased with this perfume. Due to my so good opinion when buying "Insurrection II Wild", I also decide to buy the Dark and Pure editions out of sheer curiosity. YZY - owners of the Reyane Tradition brand - is a disoriented group. They haven't decided yet whether to make niche perfumes or cheap clone designs. With the Insurrection II series and some niche-quality fragrances like "Acqua di Parisis", they have grown an above-average number of designer clones. I think their customers are confused too. I consider all three Insurrection II offerings for men to be above-average designer perfumes. Some other good YZY fragrances fell by the wayside. I find this scent to be very linear, a bit spicy, and less sweet than expected. It's definitely a masculine fragrance. It presents some sweetness with honey and vanilla, some balsamic chords with styrax and labdanum, and some earthy notes with patchouli and seductive moist tobacco. I am only suggesting the notes taken by my nose. This perfume is pleasantly comfortable and calls for a good cognac after a lively dinner with close friends. It creates a cosy atmosphere and attracts the attention of both sexes. It has an excellent price/performance ratio. I will try to explain why with my ratings: My math for "Insurrection II Wild | Reyane Tradition": ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ Opening: 8.5 (moist aromatic tobacco, sweetened with honey and vanilla) Drying: 8.0 (shades of earthy patchouli and amber) Longevity: 7.5 (Up to 7~8 hours with 3 sprays) Silage: 7.5 (top silage with 5 to 6 feet radius and projects for 2 hours) Portability 8.5 (avoid hot days; very good for almost any other type of weather, either day or night) Versatility: 8.5 (Some people claim that Insurrection II Wild is sexy as hell. I disagree with its sexiness features for some noses. To me, the sweet and strong smell of tobacco suggests a noisy encounter with friends. Without a doubt, this is a versatile fragrance.) This perfume is supposed to clone "A*Men Pure Havane by Thierry Mugler. However, it's less sweet and more powerful. It also resembles XJ 1861 Naxos by XerJoff". Insurrection II Wild is a pipe-style spicy tobacco fragrance infused with syrupy honey and creamy vanilla, punctuated by cherry and cocoa facets. It is also quite smooth and dessert-like, lightly gourmand, sweet, and smoky. Its initial smell is slightly medicinal, resembling a cough syrup, although this dissipates after a few minutes. One might associate this whole image with a jazz pub, the air thick with pipe smoke and honeyed warmth. Its biggest flaw (at least for me) is its one-dimensionality; it is probably the most linear fragrance I own. At its core, this is an unabashedly direct scent. But it simply smells awesome. The somewhat good side is that it never exhibits changes in its development. What you smell when you first apply it is essentially what you'll be wearing for the whole day. Friends often come over to have me decant fragrances for them, and this one is among the most universally liked. It has a very pleasant reception. It is definitely one of the top smell combinations for a blind buy; the description is completely literal, leaving no ambiguity or room for unexpected impressions. On top of that, you have some exceptional value for money. Its projection is modest. It makes up for this with excellent longevity, continuously radiating — albeit gently — toward your nose when worn. A true champion of colder weather, it fits today's rainy mood perfectly, even though it is not very cold here. It's a rather masculine composition, although certainly women can wear it, too. The bottle looks majestic. Overall, Wild is a super straightforward fragrance with a highly versatile profile — linear, reliable, and cozy. If you prize complexity and mood swings in a fragrance, this one might feel too straightforward. My only wish? A bit more push and a deeper base to give it that extra coating. But we can always fix that ourselves with layering. I just received this in the mail today. Wow. For the price this is insaaaaane value. There's no way on God's green earth something this amazing should be so cheap. Smells like luxury. It smells warm AND cool. It smells like a fall day when everything is going right. You made the perfect cup of coffee and smoked the perfect cigar. That perfect moment, when you walk into the warmth of your home with a smile on your face, as you abandon the lower temperatures outside and the warmth of safety takes you into its bosom is what this smells like. The spirit of Insurrection Wild 2 is nonchalant, sexy, uplifting, masculine in the coolest way (although I csn see a woman with a certain style being able to wear this) and the notes of this fragrance play a very harmonious melody. Romantic jazzy chord progressions. It almost wants to take flight off of your skin Now one thing I can say, performance isn't up there yet for my bottle. I just got it so it leaves my skin in almost 30 seconds without much staying power BUT..... I will allow it to macerate for a couple of months. I was planning on wearing this, mid Octoberish anyway so I'll come back and make another review because I have Faith the performance is much better after letting it chill for a while after a few sprays The bottle is gorgeous. Heavy. Feels like luxury. The box it came in was a regal experience lol This is a Love for me I can't remember what pure havane smelled like so I can't say how much it smells like it or Naxos. This is a banger. Blind buy it. Blind buy it. Blind buy it Because I will be ordering at least 10 more of these just to keep so I never run out!!

surprisingly my most complimented fragrance at the time of writing of this review! which is good for my relatively small collection. blind bought this after seeing the hype going around it and, being a sweet/gourmand fragrance fanatic, thought i'd give it a go. i've never had a tobacco fragrance before this one fyi so i thought this will be a great introduction to them. and i was right! this is, in short, a sweet, honey-ed tobacco with vanilla and cacao lingering with that tobacco scent. gourmand, sweet and smoky is the best way to describe it. very appealing, addictive, and beautiful, right from the first sniff - in short, i fell in love with it. and apparently others did too. i received an unreal amount of compliments from this, more than any fragrance ive worn. people liked it and wanted to know what it is. it's that good. longevity is unreal from this perfume as a skin scent. projects fairly nicely, not too loud, but leaves a very nice scent trail behind. very good performance for an edt to the point where it beats some of my edps. the bottle imo is also very nice and unique without being tacky and the presentation was really nice too. atomizer is okay, not the best, but what's there to complain about given the price of this thing? got it for 100 aed exactly, or the equivalent of 27 usd, and for the price, the quality is amazing, and to me, it is blind-buy worthy. as an introduction to tobacco scents, this was a great one - so great that it made me addicted to this type of fragrances and sought to delve deeper into them. i greatly recommend it.

Tobaccos being my favourite Insurrection II Wild was an easy blind buy, this perfume has a lot of good things going for it. The smell... for a tobacco its decent, good tobacco opening and doesn’t change much in the dry down. Affordable price and great looking bottle design. Its has similarities to Pure Havane especially that opening top note but Insurrection II Wild is no Pure Havane. Pure Havane is extremely rich, thick, punchy has way more oomph and lasts ages whereas this one feels light... actually a little too light. While testing this one I did 6 sprays of Insurrection II Wild on my arms and 1 spray of Vintage Thierry Mugler Pure Havane and within 5 minutes I could barely detect Insurrection II WIld. I do like the perfume and it does a decent job of giving that Pure Havane feel and if you’re on the lookout for an affordable tobacco based frag Insurrection II Wild will do nicely. On skin it projects really well with that similar Pure Havane feel for about 3 hours then it becomes a skin scent for another 2 hours. I’ve had Pure Havane ever since the launch, and have definitely stocked up to make sure I never run out of Pure Havane, I haven’t tried the Mugler Version and still on the lookout for one. Recently got Paris Corner Voux Elegante and this one is ok-ish, got me a bottle of Naxos too. They’re all different from each other and great in their own way, and if you like frags that are heavy on the tobacco Insurrection II Wild will be a great addition to the collection.

Agree with previous comment, only thing i'd add is that people need to understand that higher price point does not mean more projection or longer lasting (or that higher quality ingredients have been used) it's a myth/bias/conclusion that is spread by YouTubers and frag community. Projection and longevity exist in cheap perfume and expensive perfume, some cheap perfumes smell amazing, because price has nothing to do with it. Xerjoff/PDM and MANY other niche brands make perfume with VERY cheap, low cost materials, yes they smell great because they are are made by talented perfumers, but this does not mean the juice cost a lot to make or is of supreme magical quality. They charge outrageous prices as a marketing strategy, that is all. VERY few brands use high quality expensive materials and those things actually have very little to do with how nice it smells, it's projection or longevity. It just doesnt work like that. People throw these ideas around as though they understand how they are made. It's just prestige pricing placebo effect and misinformation. Most niche brands spend more on the bottle caps than the juice inside the bottle! The perfume in this bottle has no difference in quality that any PDM/Xerjoff or Initio etc etc. Its just priced fairly, whereas the "luxury" brands do not!

I've never smelled Pure Havane, but this juice here is outstanding! The opening is pretty sharp with cinnamon and what smells like bergamot. The warm spices start to take over soon after the initial spray. The tobacco isn't photo-realistic. This is more of a pipe tobacco with a side of honey. Very Christmas-y, so in season currently. In the drydown, the pipe tobacco stays through the life of the scent. The vanilla and tonka beans with that pipe tobacco is one hell of a trio. This is a very sweet fragrance, at least to my nose. This strikes me as a tobacco fragrance for the younger audience due to it's sweetness. However, I'm in my mid 30s and enjoy this juice just fine. I stick to wearing this in the fall, winter, and early spring. Not sure how this will do dressed up, but business casual to casual is fair game. Now, this fragrance is fairly strong off my skin. The projection is crazy for the first 2 to 2.5 hours. Silage is a good arms length or a bit further. Longevity is great. Still very present after a 9 hour work day. This was 5 sprays (back and front of neck, chest, and both arms). This bottle was purchased about a year and a half ago. Projection: 10 out of 10 Silage: 8 out of 10 Longevity: 10 out of 10 Scent: 9 out of 10 Price: 10 out of 10 Overall: 9.5 out of 10

I have never smelled Pure Havane, but I do own Xerjoff Naxos.... and what I can tell you about Insurrection Wild is that after about 3-4 minutes, it does smell 85-90% like Naxos. After 15+ minutes, you really do get a Naxos vibe. There is a noticeable cherry essence within the first 1-5 seconds of spraying it that's nothing like Naxos, but it quickly settles in on the skin and morphs into a more recognizable Naxos very quickly. That cherry note disappears immediately. I'd like to add there's a tiny "bite" to it that's reminiscent of TF's Tobacco Vanille. I bought this as a blind buy and thought "I doubt this actually smells like Naxos" but that is all I can think about while I'm wearing it... so for the price, it's satisfactorily impressive. Would definitely buy again. The funny thing is, I met up with a buddy about 30 minutes after I bought this bottle and applied a spritz to the back of my hand. He is not a fragrance person, and NEVER gives compliments (not even when I've worn actual Naxos around him). And yet, within 3 minutes of greeting him, he told me I smelled good. For me, that was a level of validation that I didn't expect to get from this bottle... Blind buy rating: 10/10 Overall rating: 8.7/10

I blind-bought this because I wanted an inexpensive vanilla tobacco scent that a female can wear and the reviews for this were relatively good. This one works for me perfectly - It's sweet enough, yet not sugary. I like how the fragrance is presented in the box and the bottle style. I get good longevity and sillage out of it and it shines in the cooler weather on my skin. Great for a bonfire night. All-around affordable unisex tobacco/vanilla scent. Edited: Because of another review, I feel I have been put on the defense and have to explain further why I personally, as a female, love Insurrection II Wild. The next obviously female review below is almost 50 reviews in, so ..... I don't give a shit what anybody chooses to wear, since there is usually a personal reason to enjoy a scent. I wear this to recreate childhood memories of smelling the pouch tobacco when my grandpa or dad would smoke their pipes. I have always loved that smell, it transports me to camping with my family as a kid and to my grandparent's home. It's comfortable and safe. I've said in another review that fragrance should take you somewhere and this one does take me back. I wear it for me.

I bought Pure Havane (PH) as a gift and that failed unfortunately. I was dumbfounded because the scent was one of the most gorgeous tobacco scents I'd ever smelled (and probably one of the first). Granted, both of us were used to fresh male scents and Pure Havane was anything but. I was so drawn in by the uniqueness of Pure Havane that I kept it for myself. :-) This has paid off, people love to smell it on me! Imagine! Recently, I noticed my bottle getting low and was looking to buy a backup bottle. Lo and behold, PH has been discontinued but then I heard about Insurrection II Wild. I was scared it would be a vague interpretation of my beloved but no! I was instantly transported right back to the heat of the Caribbean and the sticky sweet tobacco reigned King of my nose. I sprayed PH and Insurrection side-by-side and could not tell the difference. I will say Insurrection is slightly softer but it still smells amazing. Ladies, if you haven't tried this what are you waiting for? It's a compliment magnet!!

Sweet HONEY, TOBACCO & TONKA Scent... This is a dupe of A*Men Pure Havane Mugler with good approximation and excellent performance. In the first couple of minutes I get sweet tobacco and spicy notes. The spicy notes are kind of a blur but sometimes I pick out anise, pink-pepper & ginger-spice. As the sillage opens up I start to get the dried fruit facets of tobacco and the tonka, and you will catch glimpses of other honey, tobacco & tonka scents. This one keeps the fruity aspects of tobacco & tonka in something near a candied ginger territory, although you do get some near-cherry tones from the tonka. An hour or two into the drydown I get the Angel Mugler & A*Men Mugler DNA. Gingerbread isn't listed here but I actually find it easier to imagine gingerbread here than in other honey-tobacco-tonka scents that list gingerbread. This has excellent performance for year-round wear, but the sweet tobacco profile makes it most appropriate for fall & winter or chilly nights. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

For people who own Burberry London. I blind bought Burberry London and absolutely hated it, there's something about it that I don't like. When I ordered this fragrance I saw only few reviews mention London and I was praying for it to be nothing like that. When I got the fragrance first thing I did was smell the cap and instantly regretted the purchase cause it smelled so similar but then I sprayed it on my arm and let it sit there for 10 minutes. I can say that I was very relieved because it's a very different scent, sure I can pick up London a bit but it's not overpowering. In contrast, it's sweeter due to cherry and honey and definitely a bit more feminine. In general if you prefer sweeter fragrances, this is for you. I can't comment on PH since I've never owned it but for the price of 25€ you get nice presentation (box and bottle) and a very pleasant scent which lasts and performs. Imo you can't go wrong with this one.

fantastic clone of mugler a*men pure havane, probably the best you're going to get. warm, enveloping woods with sweet tobacco and honey and a hint of cherry on top. to my nose pure havane is a much more coherent execution of the same concept- whereas the reyane comes across more like a well-executed blend of individually pleasant notes that mingle very well together, pure havane is realistic cherry tobacco and cacao in a high quality dark (and slightly damp) wrapper. side-by-side the difference is absolutely noticeable and this is to be expected, but i think it helps to know just how they differ in terms of presentation and perception. this isn't going to give you the same experience as pure havane, but at roughly US$25/100mL it's a fantastic substitute and one i wouldn't hesitate to recommend. that being said if you're on the fence about buying a bottle of pure havane and can afford to do so, i would go for it.

First Fragrance I ever purchased. Blind bought it and was immediately hooked on it, and fragrances in general. Opening the box let out a warm spicy burst of air, smelling absolutely amazing. It opened with a spicy warm vanilla tobacco honey scent, which lasted for about 20-30 minutes. It later loses a lot of the spiciness and simmers down to a smooth honey tobacco scent, lasting roughly 6 hours (with 2 sprays.) After about 2 months, the spiciness has unfortunately lost some of its potency, but it is smoother throughout the drydown and lasts about 10 hours with 3 sprays. Cannot compare it to Pure Havana as I have never experienced it, but it smells absolutely amazing regardless. I have been searching for fragrances similar to this one since I first got it because I feel I have found my wheelhouse.

This would be my second review after I revisited my bottle because colder season is up and about... it’s just so good but affordable 🥰 Well, If you like the niche fragrances that this one tries to emulate and is being compared to (Pure Havane, Naxos, etc.) I would say you got a solid decent alternative. For the price, you can’t go wrong with this humble juice with its scent profile, quality and performance. Luxury need not be expensive because at the end of the day, it’s how you carry yourself. Regardless if it’s cheap or expensive, fragrance is just an enhancer and a really good one if you pick the right scent profile that matches your personality. 9/10 for this wonderful juice 👏 but always try before you buy 😉 Who would think you’re wearing a dupe? unless you tell them 😉 Peace out ✌️

The person who came up with such a difficult and long name must have been a story writer. I'll call it "Wild" for short. My long search for a Pure Havane led me to this perfume. The moment I first smelled it, I said: fortunately, there are still masters who respect the art of scent! After all the synthetic pee-based designer perfumes I've smelled, I was once again reminded that perfume is wearable clothing. Wild is a clone, yes, but if the master is dead, the apprentice is no longer an apprentice, but at least a journeyman filling the master's place. If I had never smelled Pure Havane, I would worship Wild. . But even if he is not God, he is certainly a prophet. It spreads for 6-7 hours and goes up to 1-2 meter away. Permanence lasts 10 hours on skin and 1 day on clothes and hair👌

at first, this was really weird, I couldn't pin a note and it just smells syrupy and sweet, after use I can definitely see why it's so well-rated. great performance and longevity, I get tobacco and honey with a weird fruit note, I can see this developing into my winter rotation after I get used to this. 8/10 edit: it's coming together. The more I wear it the more I like it, will soon sample Naxos to see the comparison. 8.5/10 after Naxos edit: wow this is close, obviously, Naxos smells richer, dressed up, and expensive but this does a pretty good job at getting that honey sweetness, not bad at all, and will hold out on that 8 to 8.5/10 as the scent does have a slight medicinal scent to it sometimes but for the price, it is a nice sweet honey tobacco scent.

A 10/10 MASTERPIECE🔥 Due to my eternal love to Pure Havane, and because of its discontinuation - (thank God i still have a full bottle 🙌🏻) - i had to had this juice! And YES!! This baby came to stay for life in my collection! A beautiful mix between PH & Xerjoff Naxos! What more i can say about this stuff that hasn't been said... Believe me, everytime i wear this, i get compliments N O N S T O P!!🤯 This dna is unique, is alluring, is seductive, this is everything that I want from a fragrance especially these days that the most people out there wears only sweet, juvenile fragrances & that Creed Aventus dna or similar style.. 🤮 If u want to smell diferent, just get it.. I can't speak highly enough for this baby & that kind of dna.. I'm in love!!

Holy moly this smells good. I never had the chance to smell Havane, but if it smells anything close to this, damn it wasn't a smart move of Mugler to discontinue it. Powdery honey with a cherry note. Especially the honey is quite delicious. Verry sweet, but not heavy. There's quite a few other notes in the background, but they all have more supportive roles. Verry different from most other tabacco scents I have. (And I have quite a few.) This might become one of my favorites. Also usually not something I usually care for in the cheap section, but this presentation is actually pretty good, maybe one of the best ones I have so far. Even included a sample of another one of their fragrances. I can stronly recommend this. This is awesome.

Epic Journey Into the Bottled Yonder, 218 ------------------------------------------------------- Purchased October 2024 This is apparently based on Pure Havane, but what nobody's saying is all these frags along with Phoenix Shaving Cavendish all smell alike (though I haven't smelt Pure Havane before). ThereFORE all of them are supposed to smell like pipe tobacco, because that's what Cavendish deliberately was designed to be. I've loved that one for years now - I think since 2019. Insurrection II Wild is like an Arabian perspective of a GB/US pipe tobacco. There's a sweetness or syrup to it compared to other tobaccos, it's a very thick smell so be careful with your clothes, etc. In short, it gets my blessing. Batch: 5th July, 2023.

People on here are ridiculous, there's a reason why it's rated so high. This isn't a clone of naxos or herod, it's suppose to be a clone of pure havane, at least if you are going to criticize get the fragrance right. That being said, name me one fragrance that's 20 bucks and has this quality? If this was on a designer or niche bottle people would be tripping over themselves on how good it is, but since it's on the lower end of price point they nitpick. It's 20 bucks you expect it to last 10+ hours and on the same quality as xerjoff and PDM? High expectations much? For the price they are selling this it's a win, if you can afford 200 dollar + niche fragrances why are you buying 20 dollar clones? Seriously the snobbery is unreal.

Bought a decant of Naxos and for a second, I thought they scammed me and sent me wild 2. People are saying that this, havane (haven't tried), and naxos are all 3 similar but distinctly different fragrances and I would agree to that for the most part, but wild 2 is extremely close to the naxos opening and not too far off of the dry down. It's not marketed as a clone but does a good job. It lasts fairly long, above average for sure, and has moderate projection. It's not as much of a beast as other fragrances but performs very well, which is something I look for in colognes. No problems here. I really like the scent; it's christmas-y and good for winter, day or night but maybe lean towards night.

A masculine fragrance. Dry tobacco and smooth vanilla with some dry cacao powder. I was expecting this to be more gourmand and edible but no, this is more of a tobacco fragrance. Imagine you have a small cup of vanilla flavored ice cream with tiny chocolate Hershey's kisses as toppings and there's a really fat cuban cigar larger than your ice cream dipped in it — this is what I picture when I smell this perfume in the air. Good performance, projects for 1-2 hours, 4-5 feet radius. Easily lasts 8+ hours on me. Great for date nights, casual wearing, cozy weather and cuddle time. Strictly worn during nighttime only, and when it's cold. Reminds me of another cheapie called Loyal Agar by Luxodor.

Perfume released in 2013. Very intense fragrance has a honey Tabacco smell and after about 7-8 hours the cocoa really starts to kick in giving it a whole new scent. Think of it as a cigar glazed in honey. It’s definitely a powerful “main character” type scent and an acquired taste but if you love Tabacco scents this is a must have. It is similar to Pure Havane, not really a clone. but enough to replace it. It's a bit more masculine with a stronger tobacco note and a fainter vanilla & cherry Really pretty good for the price Mass appeal 7.5/10 Compliment factor 8/10 Atomizer 8.5/10 Recommend sprays 4-6 If you have performance issues; make sure you buy from a safe source

Love this one, but there's no denying that it doesn't have a lot going on in terms of notes at the forefront. It's mostly a sweet tobacco fragrance, and that's totally fine. It works wonderfully for layering or on its own. The bottle shape is kinda whack. It reminds me of Nautica Blue. I've found that holding the side of the fat part of the bottle in my palm and lining the atomizer up with the thin edge on the bottle works best. But even explaining that felt like running a marathon. All in all, I still recommend this fragrance to guys. Just be patient figuring out what spray position works best for you, and try to stick to using it in colder weather

very pleasant but slightly weak at the moment. it doesn’t have the depth of naxos yet but i definitely see it becoming very similar once it matures. i really like it and i can’t wait to see how it changes over time from now til the winter. i also want to mention how classy the presentation is from the book style box to the beautiful bottle, fits right in with my niche shelf. they also gave me a sample of r2b2 interstellar. edit: i have to say that after a month and a half of writing this review, the scent is just increasingly becoming more like a mugler dna scent (not the biggest fan) and straying further away from naxos. sad but it is what it is.

Its definitely a very good tobacco sweet scent with great performance. However if this is what pure havane / naxos smells like then i consider it second best tobacco sweet scent profile, as compared to HEROD that i like more. I have never tried naxos or pure havane but i have compared herod with its best dupe Hercules from Maison Alhambra, and its spot on, infact the performance was equally good too and on clothes it stays for weeks (not bad for a dupe). I macerated mine for few months before using. That said, anyone who loves this kind of scent profile will love INS II WILD. its amazing for its price given its quality and performance.

I bought this and Galactic Man Intense by Maison Alhambra. After letting them sit for 2 weeks, I like Insurrection better. It's a good honey tobacco scent, and I love that cherry pipe tobacco scent so much. The projection is solid for 2 hours, and it stays on the skin for 7 hours in my case. Now for galactic man intense, it has the same honey tobacco DNA, but it feels fresher, and in the middle, there is this lemon scent that pops up. While different, I still enjoy it and use it for daily rotation between insurrection, and the performance is about the same anyway. So if you want another alternative, you can try Galactic Man Intense

Its an amazing scent, I never had the chance to sniff Mugler, but it is very similar to Naxos as well, without lavender, less sweet and add more tobacco (yes a little bit cherry type tobacco, but no cough syrup at all). I even say its a very good affordable alternative for Naxos as well, but unlike Naxos its really not for the summertime, its a more dark tobacco winter fragrance. Its amazing, for this price its a 5/5, very warm and inviting. Update : It may needs to macerate a little bit, but the longevity is not so great, and the sillage is very intimate. Still an amazing scent but for me its pretty weak.

I too had a positive experience with macerating this (this post is only about this). When I first got this it smelled synthetic, harsh, and a mess. I couldn't understand the hype. Months later this is smoother, rounder, richer... better! The blend has settled and the profile has become recognizable. Same way we have no-brainer freshies, to me this is the equivalent of a cooler/cold weather no-brainer tobacco scent :) I go nose blind to it tho, so I've to spread usage. I had a guy who didn't speak the local language send his sister to ask me to write down the name of it so he could buy it, lol.

This one was recommended to me by a friend and turned out to be the best blind buy I've made yet. I was expecting a darker, more mature scent based on the notes breakdown but I was pleasantly surprised by the airiness and sweetness of this eau de toilette. It smells a lot more expensive than the 23€ it cost me and it instantly crept up at the top of my list of fragrances to wear this winter! Fantastic job Reyane Tradition! My only regret is not picking this gem up sooner to let it mature for a few months before winter, because the current performance is only moderate.

I think I remember Mymickers talking about this fragrance back in the day. RIP bud. When I first tried it, I think I even preferred it over pure havane because havane seemed a little too sweet for me. I recall this toned down the sweetness and had more depth and tobacco in it. I think most of us preferred this one over the real deal. My bottle I found with a tiny bit in it and it's gone a tad funky, but still smells really good. It's a cherry-ish sweet tobacco and honey kind of smell. Has pretty good performance too. On the synthetic side, but so was pure havane.

I can understand where some other reviews discuss the opening having a lot of cherry. Maybe this is a result of the cocoa note coming in a little fruity? It matures into a warm, spicy, sweet, and smoky masculine scent through the drydown. It lasts 10+ hours on my skin and noticeably projects for the first 8. The honey note is sweet but not cloying, and the tobacco and vanilla combine wonderfully. I recommend this as an excellent fall and winter fragrance. I purchased this on Amazon for $25. For the price, it's an absolute no-brainer.

I am not sure how people don't think this is good for summer. It is literally a suns-out summer fragrance. Fresh, spicy, very light and uplifting, soapy and clean, honey, with a touch of pipe tobacco. Works perfectly for a warm FL day. Either way, it's very, very good, and at 25$ its a no-brainer if you like a more mature, unique fragrance. I've never tried mugler a*men pure havane but the comparisons to Naxos are kind of annoying. Naxos is very much its own thing. The lavender alone makes a point of that.

Llevo unos 3 años coleccionando perfumes y este me hizo registrarme y escribir de él. Cuando sale siento mucho un anís que se evapora en un minuto, se desenvuelve un chocolate cremoso especiado muy bueno, la miel y el tabaco no lo siento mucho pero están presentes tímidamente. No se parece mucho a Naxos, pues no tiene cacao y la combinación tabaco/miel es más presente y refinada, aún no tengo el privilegio de oler el Pure Havane. Algo formal, sexy, un poco serio y un poco maduro. Muy bueno por el precio

Was looking for cheaper tobacco honey combo as Herod was almost finished and as much i love it dont wanna spend that much money, so i decided to try this. It has synthetic opening and lacks the depth and character but again i dont mind for £30-/ besides dry down is where it gets much better. Between 6-8 hours i was getting slight whiffs every now and the which i really enjoyed. Not sure about sillage but i think it has an average sillage and bubble around 2-4 feet max.

This is currently my all time favourite tobacco fragrance. Yes even above Naxos. A beautiful syrupy honey tobacco, warm and enveloping. Very addictive. This gets a lot of criticism for being cheap smelling because of the price placebo effect, if this cost £200 then it would be up there with the top rated. Perceived value bias = “It costs a lot so then it must be superior quality” if only this were true. Stunning fragrance sold at a great price! How it should be 👏🏼👏🏼

Super awesome blind buy given as a gift, never tried naxos or pure havane but i thought this might be similar to jpg elixir due to the notes but it’s not. this is much lighter and smells very elegant, good for everyday use in the office maybe on an intimate date. chocolaty honey vanilla with some florals in the background decent performance so super good but if u can pick it up. also if you go light on the sprays you can definitely pull this off during the spring.

I love this stuff but do feel it is more unisex. Yes it says “for men” on the damn bottle but I’d say that’s just a poor marketing move. I am fine with wearing more feminine leaning scents so no problem for me there but it has a lot of sweetness that is great for a man who is comfortable in himself but I think it would smell amazing on the right woman, of which I think there are many. I like the bottle too. The only insurrection I’ve supported in the last 4 years.

Smoothest vanilla honey fragrance (I like it way better than my JPG Le Male Elixer). The opening is a bit harsh as most fragrances are, but the dry down is absolutely amazing. Smooth vanilla and honey with some dry cocoa powerder and small amount of florals in the background, I dont notice any tobbacco on skin but I havent smelled it in depth on clothes yet. Sillage and Projection is average and so is longevity. For the price this amazing. 9/10 easy.

Made my bottle of Naxos so redundant I sold it. It's not 1:1 with Naxos, and it's not 1:1 with Pure Havane either, but I genuinely prefer this stuff to both of them. I only have a 10ml decant of PH, but I'll never buy a full bottle now. A bottle of this means I don't need either Naxos or PH, and as nobody ever sees my collection anyway, I'm not swayed overly by the fancy bottles and niche names unless they're worth the money for the scent itself.

This is Pure Havane in another bottle. I got Pure Havane three years ago and I used to use it as my daily scent for a couple of months. With the prices going up on Pure Havane and it being discontinued I would suggest people to buy this and save your money since the prices on Pure Havane is ranging from 2000- 3000 swedish kroner ( Around 200-300 US dollars). This is definetly blindbuy worthy, do not hesitate to pull the trigger on this one :)

After finding out that PH was discontinued, I came here looking for similar notes from another cologne. BAM everyone says wild was the answer. So bought it and it does not disappoint. It does smell like Joop but the soft powdery tobacco goes into vanilla creaminess softness. It's been a few hours and it's still going strong. I only sprayed twice. Next time I will do 3 or 4. Excellent choice for 30 $. -Peace

First off, I own Pure Havana and Naxos. This is similar, very similar. Dollar for dollar you could even say it’s the “same”. Does it have the same smoothness and development that the aforementioned do? No, it doesn’t. But does it cost around $200/bottle, again, no it doesn’t. The fact that people don’t think there will be some sort of trade off when you pay a fraction of the price is so weird to me.

This stuff is incredible! It is a mix of Mugler Pure Havane and Xerjoff Naxos. I have both. I was shocked by the quality at $29. Honey, Tobacco, Cacao, and Vanilla with a bit of freshness as well. Pure Havane is discontinued and this is a proper replacement. I also have Emir Voux Elegante and that honey note is more of a beeswax note. Get Insurrection II instead. Trust me. Higher quality.

This is easily one of my favorite clones. It's suppose to be a clone of Pure Havane, but I never tried that cologne so I can't tell you how close it is, but I do have a clone of Naxos (1981X) and they are close in similar profile (80-85%). I think you can get this for around 20-25$ and IMO it's worth every penny. It also gains me tons of compliments, and the quality is high for a clone.

This stuff lasts and lasts. Sprayed it yesterday midday on my wrist, and kept getting whiffs of it through the day. It lasted through a shower (no scrubbing), and you can even smell it this morning if you put your nose up to it. Very rich type of smell, and the honey comes in waves. Feels like you need to be careful with overspraying, but can't wait to wear it and get some opinions.

This was in my wishlist for so long, don't know why I waiting to buy it? Finally did, it's incredibly good! I pretty much just get tobacco and spices. Strong projection. Lasts a good 6-8 hours. Linear. Weird bottle/terrible cap. This is a masculine, fall/winter scent, for sure. If you're on the fence about this one, don't hesitate to pull the trigger! Would I buy again? Yes.

A clone of Mugler A*Men Pure Havane. Right off the sniff you can catch the A*Men malted dna. It opens with bright cherry tobacco, dips into honey and some subtle spices in the heart, ultimately smoothing out into a creamy base of smoky vanilla and a tonka sweetened cacao; it's like a malted chocolate dry down that you made out of some used whiskey barrels. This is fantastic.

Stunning. If you're looking for a dupe of Naxos, this is it, this is like 90-95% similar to Naxos, and that's up close side by side, in the air nobody will tell the difference. The only difference is the first 10 minutes or so, after that it's 1/1. If anyone says this smells nothing like Naxos, they are gatekeeping this. Buy this if you want an alternative to Naxos.
