Does it smell like cleaning products? Yes👀 Does it smell like toothpaste? Yes😴 Is it overhyped? NO!!! This fragrance does 100% of what the presentation is tryna convey! Most of the things you hear about this fragrance is probably true, but I'll tell you my experience. To me, this is a dupe of YSL Iced cologne. YSL Iced cologne is very linear, synthetic(not harsh but smooth). Riffs freeze is less linear with that pronounced lemony opening. Like an ice cold lemonade. But the dry down feels like the opening of YSL Iced cologne. The lemony note is almost gone, thankfully so. This opens up like a toothpaste/cleaning products scent, still way better than waha and YSL one is not worth getting over this one IMO. Riffs freeze is much more potent than the YSL. But the dry down??!!! It beautifully simple. You will just smell so refreshing and clean like ice. It will uplift anyone you converse with. They will literally get a breath of fresh air from smelling you. And they will smell you! It projects like a nuke, entering rooms before you! One of the longest-lasting cheap-freshie fragrances of all time. It will cut though that heat like a champ. I genuinely hate the opening, but the dry down is worth the hype 💯 %. It doesn't smell as lemony as in the opening. That's what initially threw me off. But I tell you! The dry down is sooo clean and fresh like you look out your laundry from the freezer. The dry down has no depth and is very linear, it's hard to wear it on its own if you want something interesting or unique. But it's as safe as YSL Myslf. So it's one of the best fragrances to use for layering. It's a bit barbershopy and juvenile compared to YSL Myslf. This could even pass as a premium version of a generic Axe flanker but it's worth a grab. Believe it or not, this is an all-season fragrance. Just don't wear it on cooler nights. Scent: 8.5/10. Value: 10/10. Projection: 10/10. Longevity: 9/10. Versatility: 9/10.

Scent : 9.5/10 people that are saying this smells like toilet cleaner, please tell me which one because I’d love my bathroom to smell this 😆 anyway.. it opens up with the FRESHEST and I mean freshet lemon peel but more of a sugared lemon peel and a blast of well literal ice, I’d say slightly mint but not spearmint like a Artic blue mint, you also get that “designer” style clean clothe vibe immediately but it smells more unique then Y for example, as it drys down it becomes a soft clean clothes with that mint turning into a sweet vanilla mint to my nose the ginger does come out but I don’t get tea notes what so ever until 4-5 hrs later which smells like a sweet earthy black tea too my nose, and the florals come out with it Longevity & Projection - 8.5/10 2-3 hr strong projection, dies down quick after that you get another 3 hours of nice sillage until it becomes a full skin scent roughly 6 hours after spraying on, however it stays a skin scent for roughly 10-12 in my experience, I could wake up smelling it after sleeping and spraying on at 9:30pm the night before. It was just a floral amber cedar fresh clothes upon waking Overall : if you like fresh scents this is a HUGE go for me, it has a uniqueness too it that I can really appreciate while still having that designer-style safenesss to it. I’d give it a 9.2/10 overall

Got this delivered about a week ago and decided to properly test it as a daily wear. Honestly, wearing the same scent for 7 straight days is tough when you’ve got 50+ bottles sitting on the shelf 😅 Packaging: First impression was solid. The packaging looks clean and very youthful. You can tell just by the box and bottle design that it’s targeted towards the under-30 crowd. Scent Profile: To my nose, it opens like iced cold water loaded with mint. There’s a noticeable menthol-type cooling effect in the opening but not too prominent.Quality is good right from the first spray no excessive alchohol blast! As it settles, it turns into a classic citrus fresh scent with a bit of neroli coming through in the drydown. Very clean, very easy to wear. Nothing overly complex, This is perfectly suited for Indian high heat summers. The cooling vibe really works when it’s hot outside. Performance: I’m genuinely satisfied here. On clothes, I was getting around 7 hours. Projection was clearly noticeable for the first 2–2.5 hours, with proper whiffs coming in at intervals. For a fresh citrus scent, that’s actually pretty good. Overall, if you’re looking for an summer daily wear, this makes sense.

Freeze by Riiffs opens with a slightly rough edge, not harsh or chemically aggressive like some fragrances can be, but not the smoothest introduction either. The opening is built around a vibrant blend of zesty lemon and mint. The mint here isn't barbershop-fresh or sharply crisp; instead, it evokes the smell of morning dew settling on freshly cut grass, giving the fragrance a natural and refreshing green character. The combination of lemon and mint is bright, uplifting, and energizing. As it develops, the bergamot and tea notes emerge, transporting you into a dreamy, almost ethereal atmosphere. There's something genuinely captivating about the way this scent unfolds. For a summer cologne, the performance is impressive. Both longevity and projection are well above expectations, allowing the fragrance to maintain its presence throughout the day. That said, because of the slightly sharp opening and because lemon-mint compositions can be divisive ... this isn't the safest blind buy. Still, if you enjoy fresh green citrus fragrances with a refined tea accord, Freeze is definitely worth exploring. Overall Rating: 9/10

I don't know if this is actually a clone of anything or not. Something in the dry down reminds me of another fragrance. I was thinking it was Y, and it is somewhat similar to both Y clones I have, but not a dead ringer by any means. It also has that tea vibe so people may say Imagination or Lattafa Dynasty, and I can kind of see that too. Anyway this stuff automatically jumped into my top 10 summer fragrances of all time. What an amazing summer fragrance with excellent performance to boot. From first spray it's an instant refreshing mint and citrus vibe. It's so cooling and wonderful. It doesn't have much of a dry down basically the top notes fade over time and you're left with this ginger tea, and swimming pool chemicals with woods in there(typical mens summer fragrance). I mean all that in the best way possible. I don't think you could go wrong with this one especially if it wasn't hyped up so much you expected something it wasn't. Hell I saw all the hype and still had high expectations, and it still impressed me. This stuff is great! Bravo Riffs!

This fragrance opens up very punchy to the nose with a lot to enjoy, lemon zesty with mint, snowy and icy, and barbershopy from the sage. Surprisingly the scent dries down very linear maintaining that same scent profile so if you like linear fragrances this is for you as it doesn't change much. In terms of projection and longevity its confusing to explain unless you've tried it. It opens up very strong you'd expect to last and project for hours but within the first 3 hours it still projects like crazy but stays closer to the skin. If you sprayed it on your neck it would project to your shoulders but strongly. It lasts a while though, 7-9 hours and 12-14+ on clothes (I tend to spray a lot around 10 sprays so it may be less for you if you spray less). For a cheap freshy its very unique and I highly recommend this and its a very safe gifting option to anyone if you don't know what to get them and I absolutely love it.

You either love this or absolutely despise it. There’s no in-between. I completely understand the toilet-cleaner comparison, especially in the opening. But it rounds itself out pretty quickly and becomes something much more interesting. It’s cold, mentholated, sharp, and extremely energizing. I love spraying this when I get home. There’s something refreshing about how aggressive it is. It doesn’t try to be smooth, safe, or universally pleasant. It just commits to the idea. That’s what I like most about it. I love when fragrance houses take risks and push things this far. Don’t buy this expecting something polished or traditionally “nice.” Buy it if you want something strange, bold, and surprising. YSL Iced is smoother, more rounded, and much easier to wear. This is far riskier and definitely more offensive. But I really like it. So unique. 8.5/10

This one is a good cheapie for summer, smells like a fresh lemonade with mint in the opening then it dries down to a herbal tee with ginger and sage then its a skin scent when the peony is unremarkable. I got it for 17 euros from a good seller on trendyol and for the price i paid i would say its worth it. I dont find it harsh or syntethic, i would say its actually pretty good quality. Performance is about 8-9 hours with good projection first 2.5 hours. Its really fresh but powdery at the same time, i go about 8-10 sprays to get notice and it does the job. Suitable the best in the gym or for a lazy day. Highly recommend, Riiffs didnt dissapoint me with this one. Also i find it really masculine and i think its suitable for most ages, maybe 20+

Don’t let the negativity sway you; it’s obvious many critics were just victims of over-inflated hype. To give you a real breakdown: this scent is incredibly fresh and almost good enough to eat. While TikTok influencers tend to label everything as a basic "gym scent," that doesn't really do this justice. It’s essentially a crisp blend of mint and lemon with a sharp, spicy kick of ginger. The performance is solid—it lasts a long time—and the atomizer quality is top-tier. The Bottom Line: * If you want a distinctive, zingy lemon, buy this. If you just want a generic "freshie," stick with 9am Dive.

THIS IS SOOOOO GOOD! Does not smell cheap like it's price, it smells rich and sophisticated. I blind bought this, simple because I wanted to smell what ice notes really mean lmao. But boy I wasn't disappointed. This is very well blended. In the start I get the fresh minty, grapefruit. It's sooooo soft and powdery from the get go that I keep questioning it's price point. After a while, you get the soft floral notes very nicely blended in with the rest. The ice notes slightly remind me of the og Cool Water base note iykwim. Smell: 9/10 Easy wearable all year round.

It opens up lemon-zesty and than you smell bergamot and some minty hints, it's sharp in the opening and gets a bit more mellow and sweet as it dries-down in the best way possible. Dry-down is basically going from citrusy to amber notes and sweetness in the end. It lasts about 4 hour of very good sillage and remains a more intimate tea-amber note on the skin for about 4 more hour. In my opinion it does not smell artificial nor like cleaning products, it is a complex, unique, high quality fragrance well worth the price!

This is such a beautiful, fresh scent, a pure citrus bomb, smelling perfect regardless of when you wear it, and is perfect when it comes to summer. HOWEVER, longevity does dissapointed on my skin. It does last maybe 5 hours? But the silage only comes to maybe 1 to 2 hours, and in colder climates, it drops to maybe 30 mins. It is light and perfect for the gym, and personally works well to layer with nearly every other summer scent, like Vulcan Feu. Worth the small price point, and the presentation is near perfect.

You really need to like mint on this one. I'll call it my do-the-Dew because it opens with a crisp, minty blast of an ice cold Mountain Dew with some pumps of mint flavoring in it. The heart takes on some ginger, aromatic sage, and a bit of tea before settling into a base of amber and vague woody floral notes behind it. I feel like this is the fragrance to reach for if I'm going to be in 120F+ heat because it is monstrous and will fight the sun for dominance. Today is a perfect day for that.

To me, this smells like a lemon/citrusy herbal tea. You can smell tea and ginger note in the back of the citrus notes. You can feel the “chill” and “freeze” in the opening through minty notes. It is similar to Indonesian herbal product “Tolak Angin” in a way. Great for outdoor and during humid day. The bottle is similar to mazaaj infused, and the scent is in the same dna but more tea and ginger. Quite surprisingly long lasting for its scent type.

I have not smelled anything like this. I say it's a good fresh fragrance, also quite long lasting and strong projection. It is heavy on the lemon, it is 100% masculine imo. People are devised over this, some people tell me i smell amazing and some will say it's just not good or it smells weird. It's not a versatile fragrance, mostly usable during the day, hot weather and maybe in the gym.

dont know what it clones but riiffs definitely pulled out a beast mode freshie with freeze, linear scent profile with lemons and ozonic lasts like a full day even in indian summers on clothes with 7-8 sprays . also a unisex perfume i do like only 2-3 sprays for my gym session and has got me compliments 2 times from my gym staff.

I always give my honest review on fragrances, and this is the first one that I LOVE. The lemon and grapefruit are GREAT top notes. The longevity and projection are unmatched for a fresh fragrance, and this is a 9.5/10 summer fragrance. Smells like a cold glass of lemonade on a hot summer day. Would recommend.

Opening can be a bit synthetic but the dry down is great. Bright, citrusy compliment-puller. Pretty solid performance for a freshie. Blind-buy safe if you like citrus heavy scents. 8/10

Freshly cut green lemon with mint. Very refreshing smell and very safe for summers. Go for it if you love mint.

Grabbed a bottle of this due to the hype it’s getting by influencers like Curly Fragrance & Aromatix, as well as many others. I was going to wait till the price fell, but found it cheap in a Black Friday deal, so thought I’d take a punt. For those making comparisons to Pacific Chill, Riffs are saying this is not a clone of anything, & are instead making claims it’s one of their own creations. Upon first applying, this is a fresh citrus bomb! I’m getting the Lemon, Grapefruit & Spearmint but other than that I can’t say I’m picking anything else up, except maybe a faint to moderate Neroli note. This is one for the warmer weather, although I guess you technically could wear it all year round, but this is a freshie for the spring & summer in my mind. Jeremy Fragrance has stated this is the best fragrance of 2025, but I also know he was involved with Riffs recently in Dubai & was doing video promotions of Freeze at the launch, so I’m taking his endorsement with a pinch of salt as my guess is he’s being rewarded in one way or another. It is a nice fragrance, as for longevity, I sprayed it on about an hour ago & already it has softened, but still going reasonably well, so will update here when I’ve worn it longer as to how it actually performs, if it goes more than 2-3hrs I’ll be amazed as Riffs fragrances tend not to last long (with the exception of their Sauvage Elixir dupe Prive Blue) but I seem to recall influencers suggesting 8-12hrs which is hugely exaggerated I’m guessing, unless their skin chemistry is way better than mine who knows, but like I said after an hour of wearing it’s already considerably tamer to my nose but still nice. Think this will be popular with older guys 30 & over, can’t really imagine it appealing to younger guys. Women could also pull this off with ease. Bottom line it’s nice & fresh, very citrusy, but doesn’t blow me away. My guess is, this stuff would really come alive in the warmer summer evenings where it would shine best. UPDATE: I’ve now been wearing Freeze for 6hrs & it’s now just a skin scent on me, can only smell it with my nose about an inch away & it’s now quite weak. It’s best for the first couple of hours, then it dials down considerably, hours 3 to 5 it’s still there but no one’s going to smell it on you unless they are in your intimate space, & by hour 6 like I said it’s pretty much gone. Longevity is subjective as everyone’s skin chemistry is different, most frags I struggle with longevity & projection, so it is quite possible others will experience the crazy 8-12hrs quoted by certain reviewers, which I still find hard to believe, but can only share my actual experience.

My journey with Freeze has had it's ups and downs for sure. It took me a long time to be able to gather my thoughts and figure out how I feel about this one, and I'm still not a hundred percent sure where I stand. I love the idea of Freeze. Minty, icy, ginger and mint tea type fragrance. However, I'm unsure of the execution. Upon first sprays, this one came off insanely synthetic, which is not something that I generally complain about, seeing as a large majority of fragrance notes and accords are synthetic. (Side note: Does everyone who complains about fragrances being synthetic not realize most fragrances are made of mostly synthetics??) But, synthetic in the sense that it smelled cheap and fake. Not real mint, in a toothpastey way. I let it sit, and came back to it every couple weeks to give it a spray, and it took a few months of sitting to really get to a point that I liked it enough to wear it. I'm not sure how people get lemon cleaning product out of this, I get so little lemon in the opening it's hard to detect. I get mostly mint and a slight hint of lemon zest. At this point in it's maceration the mint opening is more pleasant and well blended, with some of that grapefruit noticeable and balancing out some of that mint. But the mint is still very strong and the most detectable note in the opening. Where I really start to like this is in the mid and the dry down. Throughout most of the mid, I get a nice, icy ginger and mint tea. It's herbal and fresh, comes off almost therapeutic. This part of the evolution is very enjoyable if you like mint, ginger, or tea in your fragrances. My biggest surprise is the dry down. The fact that this evolves into a floral mint tea fragrance by the end almost makes it feel like you're wearing two different fragrances at once. And the dry down is the prettiest part of the entire experience. The iced peony note that I get from this is very pleasant and surprisingly elegant compared to what comes before it. And that dry down lasts all day on my skin, often able to smell traces of it the next day after wearing it. Overall, I'm still iffy on the opening. If it was just the mid and dry down, I would absolutely adore this fragrance. So for now, I'm going to have to sit somewhere in the middle. Side note: this boy is STRONG, so be careful and considerate with your sprays.

I came to know about Freeze from the number one fragrance influencer who follows the teachings of Jesus. After that, I came across many other influencers who also recommended this perfume. All of these influencers had one thing in common: they said it has great longevity. Usually, fresh scents do not have great longevity, so I became interested in buying it and checking it out myself. PS: Bottle design holds zero importance to me. Perfume is not a showpiece; rather, you wear the juice, and that is the only thing that matters. Now, let’s come to the fragrance. The opening is a strong burst of mint with a slight lemon zest. It is a good scent indeed, but to me the extra mint in this fragrance makes it slightly off-putting. It is too strong, not very well blended, and not as soft or fresh as other fresh fragrances. The ginger, tea, or whatever notes you see in the note breakdown are overshadowed by the mint, which reigns throughout the fragrance unless it has been more than five or six hours since application. The longevity is really great for a fresh fragrance. It projects intensely for around three to four hours and then becomes less loud. It stays on the skin for a solid eight hours. Overall, it feels like a super-strong, linear, fresh scent to me. The slight changes in the middle and base notes are too subtle to overcome the strength of the opening. Probably, if others smell it after four or five hours, they might notice the variation, but if you are the one wearing it, the chance of noticing those changes is quite low. Scent profile: 7/10 (I feel that something needs to be changed to make it a true masterpiece) Projection: 10/10 (I didn't expect that much at all) Sillage: 9/10 Overall score: 7.5/10

Ok, this one says it’s unisex, HOWEVER, it leans heavily masculine. STILL, I am a woman and I am intrigued by this perfume. Not really sure why I ordered it other than out of plain old curiosity when I read the notes. It’s definitely a freshie. Think LEMONHEADS CANDY mixed with the green Extra gum. I think Freeze is a very fitting name, because it does smell ICY and FRESH. I do smell a hint of tea. Herbal lemon tea. I do smell that spicy ginger. And I do smell that funky ass ambermax. I do not smell lemon cleaner. I’m not sure I will be able to pull this one off, though. I will see if my hubby likes it. I feel like returning it would be jumping the gun because this one might be even more interesting after it macerates for a bit. I don’t understand all the hate I’m reading in previous reviews. I think it’s nice. Definitely not a safe blind buy and I would say you do have to like lemons and mint to like this fragrance. 🍋🍃🧊 EDIT: I layered Riifs Freeze with Khadlaj Cream Velvet and omg, IT IS NIIIIICE. EDIT 2: Came back on here to say this. I’ve decided this perfume is a little too masculine for me so I gave it to my husband who likes it a lot. This may be one of the strongest, if not, THE strongest perfume I’ve ever dealt with. When he uses it, the entire house smells like it. Constantly. It lingers and spreads. For context, we live in a small one story house. He sprays it after his morning shower before work, I’m smelling it all day long. Kinda crazy actually.

Now this is what I was craving for when I began shopping around for peak-summer-heat fragrances recently. Freeze opens with sweet citrus—mainly lemon and lime, like sprite with hints of orange. Slightly fizzy, very cool, minty, and gingery without the sharp metallic note this type of DNA tends to possess (Bvlgari Tygar). The opening also smells a lot like a car freshener. The drydown however, is very pleasing and deviates from that cleaning product scent; the sweetness pulls back and it turns more aromatic—moderately floral and piney, while staying cool. It kind of smells like a cold YSL MYSLF cuz of that orange note—broad comparison, I know. Performance is on the weaker side for me, drops to a skin scent within an hour. Overall, I have nothing bad to say; only that the scent smells like an expensive car freshener or cleaning product, but really only in the opening. That's just the scent profile's ubiquity in the cleaning product industry, unfortunately. The dislike for this is very understandable, yet I think the drydown redeems it. I would wait until the drydown kicks in before leaving the house though. ✅Good

If you need something refreshing asf you are probably going to like this one, and if you like something a little herbally (not heavy). No real comparison with Y Iced, most people probably think that because of the Mint note which is present in both but quickly fades away in Y Iced leaving just the normal YSL Y dna behind. My only downside would be that it simply feels generic, its very sharp sometimes I spray it and it hits my nose very hard. The only real scenario I would imagine my self wearing this is if you were to go to those hotel resorts everything included and you were just going to get a drink at the bar. Oh and also if you like something near Torino 21 then you probably will like this one. This fragrance could be a long distance cousin, kind of like a less green sharper more linear version of Torino 21, kind of in the same realm. (Not similar trust me, but same vibe). I got this as a sample with another purchase. I had to look this up. This is an extremely bright, tart, fresh citrusy scent with some mint and tea notes. The mint is not too strong but it is there, and it is a natural smelling spearmint, not a toothpaste mint. Not sure about snow and ice notes, but this definitely feels very refreshing. So much so that i would only wear this in the warmer season. It does have a bit of a cleaning agent vibe, but only if you think about it ahah. It is definitely unisex, maybe a tiiiny bit more on the masculine side. For the price, a good citrusy perfume. Not the usual citrus, the mint and herbs make it fresher. Oh and the ginger too, I was forgetting about that. It is very present as well.

When I first tried this fragrance, I didn’t like it much. To me, it smelled like minty toothpaste. The other day, while I was at work, someone came in and it smelled really good. I asked him what he was wearing and he told me he was wearing this one. I was really impressed because I thought it smelled so bad, but when I smelled it on others, it was fantastic. I think a lot of people are misusing this fragrance... Anything this citrus-forward is naturally better suited for the gym or physical activity. This is not a "wear it in a confined space" scent, not even remotely LOL. It smells like an ice-cold glass of strong lemonade. Like others have noted, it has a tiny bit of air freshener vibes. Outdoors or in open environments, it smells fantastic. In a small or enclosed room, it will be FAR too overpowering. Used correctly, this is a great fragrance. Just be aware of what it’s designed for and only buy it if you plan to use it that way. I’ve got no reason to mislead anyone here.

The opening of the fragrance which is around the first half hour smells like lemon zest with mint then it turns into a minty lemon scent and in the end a light floral smell remains For longevity it lasts around four hours with medium projection and by the fifth hour it becomes more of an intimate skin scent Overall the fragrance is unfortunately kind of overhyped by fragrance influencers and the smell is somewhat similar to a lemon cologne but it is still fresh and acceptable On some websites the price is around 50 to 80 dollars so if you want to get it do not buy it unless you find it in the 20 to 30 dollar range

For me its an OK perfume, I like it but its very limited to the gym or outdoor activitites This is one of my most complimented perfumes ever; people have even asked me what I'm wearing and where to buy it. Opening: a bit sweet, zesty, very icy, cooling and fresh. Feels cool on your skin, whilst the dry-down is woody and slightly sweet. Performance: this is a beast-mode fragrance which lasts a long time and reactivates with heat. Once I wore it at 5am and it was still projecting and noticeable at 10am.

I’ve had this fragrance for a while now, and I’ve seen some mixed results longevity wise. It seems to last around 7hrs (which is great for a freshie at this price point), but sometimes it really lacks. I’ve not seen as good projection as what’s been promised but I have received compliments whilst wearing. The mint is a very powerful opening, but it does settle into the citrus pleasantly. Honestly worth a buy if you have a spare £25, solid 7/10.

I think that this is an excellent summer fragrance; however, you have to be very limited in your sprays, as it is extremely strong. Smells more floral than citis in my opinion, but somehow can be somewhat masculine, definitely unisex. I bought it because of the hype and was pleasantly surprised. I may get hate because of that but it is a great gym scent and maybe even an everyday scent if used in the right area.

Its citrusy floral fragrance which is little bit different than the most in the same DNA. It reminds me on Nikos Sculpture edt, but the opening is stronger in Nikos (without spearmint), and longevity is on the side of Freeze. Non offensive, office friendly. Edit: longevity for freshy is great, but I feel sometimes smell like dishwasher liquid. But generally OK fragrance.

Opening with fresh minty citrus, drydown like just a taking bath with minty shower gel. Its extrait so the performance is good, reminds me a lot of maison alhambra porto neroli dupe of tomford, smell very dense like alhambra version on steroid with addon minty note. Side note: Great packaging and box, the bottle itself look expensive with snap in place cap

Overhyped, I know, but it smells fresh and lasts many hours on skin and is budget-friendly. I liked it. My problem is with influencers who are saying this smells better than LV Imagination. I mean, come on, man. The scent is very simple and easy to wear. Overall 7.5/10
