Black Wood

This has oud wood opening, but thats about it. Not saying its bad. Oud wood is mysterious, dark, and sexy. This one has a fresh vibe. I bought a decant and since i liked it so much, i commit to a bottle. If OW is something i would wear at night time, during dinner date in a classy restaurant, this one is something i would wear to a movie night. It still is somewhat classy, not the kind one would wear with hoodie and jeans. Shirt, jeans, and oxford shoe? Perhaps. Great office scent. Sillage is monstrous but not overwhelming. This doesnt scream masculinity, but a gentleman. A polite gentleman that can be fun, but reserved. I like this. For now it is my signature scent on day time. But im still looking for something more in between this and oud wood.

This is very good. It is a dark, woody fragrance, but it also has a whisper of spice and some well-chosen lighter notes to balance it out. Overall, it's very smooth and masculine. I thought I was detecting oak, but I don't see it listed in the notes, so I must've imagined it. None of the notes were overpowering, and all the notes complimented each other, which means the balance was just about perfect. This is among the best fragrances I've tried recently, and I try quite a lot. I see some people comparing it Tom Ford, but I think I actually like this more than TF. This seems richer and more satisfying to me, but that's just personal preference.

this was amazing im so regret that my first purchase from this brand is iris ambbrette... because this is what im been looking for... its woody its mystirious its dark it kind of sweet and its good it the perfect fragrance for me from this brand i would say.... im enjoying this scent... it dosent have to much strong woody note like usualy woody perfume have its also project well mostly in cold and night weather it so nice with this black wood 10/10 fragrance 9/10 long lasting 10/10 smell good quality

P.s I haven't smelled TF oud wood They say it's similar but idk. Opens with very spicy cardamom with traces of oud. After 5 minutes, rosewood and sandalwood blends beautifully with the top and tones down the spiciness of cardamom. Super classy, mature and formal type of fragrance. Performance is a beast on this one. For cold weather only.

If you love woody, dark and mysterious fragrance, you must have it.. It's woody of course, spicy and smoky.. I get a bit Lalique Encre Noire "vibe" It has moderate projection which is good because the scent won't bother people around you.. Performance is above average.. about 6-8 hours.. A good release from Rirana house..
