White Noise

I just discovered this new brand whilst on a perfume safari round London last week, at a tiny perfume shop near Bond Street station. I told the assistant that I was looking for a clean and warm perfume that was flowery but not sweet, a bit like Chanel Beige (my favourite perfume of all time!). She gave me this and Cloud 9, also by Roads. The description of White Noise perfume on the Barney's website video says that the influence is modern technology, and that it has plastic notes, but I can't honestly smell that at all. To me this is very similar in character to Beige, in that it has perfectly blended floral and creamy/powdery notes, and it is one of those fragrances that is not too obviously 'perfumey'. Instead, it is like being cocooned in soft layers of clean cotton and cashmere, in an exclusive hotel bed! Calm, comforting and warm. I feel very serene and elegant when i wear this, and I read in a description of this perfume (perhaps by Roads themsleves, I forget) that this perfume is meant to be like air travel in the 1950's which was elegant, luxurious and exclusive (unlike the hideous cattle market it is today!) and I think that is a better analogy that the technology and plastic one. This is my new favourite fragrance, second still to Beige, for when I want a bit of variation, but still in the same vibe. Thanks Roads!

Wow. Almost identical to Narciso essence eau de musk in the silver tall bottle ! ,,, , it's a musky Nivea cream smell. I like it. I like it a touch more than the Narciso essence eau de musk but it's almost identical!!!
