Nice, soft green aldehydic floral in the fashion popular in the late 50s - mid 60s. A little spicy, much gentler than No. 19. Dries down to a pleasant woody base. It would probably wrinkle noses today but for people of a certain age and vintage lovers who aren't aldehyde adverse it's a well made french style green.

Parce Que!,which means “Becsuse”in French, Is a vintage jewel which sadly is quite hard to find these days. A classic aldehyde green Chypre, it is not only sophisticated and elegant but it clearly captures the chic vibe that was once so prevalent when this genre of fragrance was popular. I bemoan the loss of such understated works of art that contrast so sharply with today’s bombastic sugar bombs but fragrance is representative of a time and all things must pass as George Harrison so aptly said. Despite its age, this morning I can still detect a faint whisper of green that I dabbed on last night. The distinctive angular bottle is extremely original and pairs well with this polished and refined remnant of a very different time that is beautiful, just because!
