Sumptuous Rose

There are many beautiful and expensive perfumes in my collection... this one is not inferior even to the famous Clive Christian. I've been looking for this perfume for a long time, I don't know why it's so hard to find, but I found it and was shocked by the beauty of the bottle and what's inside! It is a masterpiece! I was in Egypt, in the pyramids, and I was in Jordan, and you know this aroma reminds me of these travels... What it smells like: imagine that you entered a cold dark tomb, you still don’t know what awaits you, and you are greeted by an ancient beautiful Rose, a rose that was grown especially for Cleopatra, you come closer and find a pot of ancient Honey with some Spices, next to it you find Soap with the most noble aroma of all soaps and you collect all these aromas into one whole and this is already wonderful, but then an Aldehyde wind blew on you and you are simply in ecstasy from this aroma! This is the most incredible thing you could smell in the last year! This is a very beautiful scent, I hope they don’t stop making this perfume, this scent was created for the real Cleopatra. This is very unusual and wonderful

You've tried of rose/oud combos, now this is a rose/musk one. Cool powdery rosey musk, freshened with soapy aldehyde, and with a touch soft sandalwood. Musky, powdery, slightly-woody, clean. Smells like some rose-scented talc powder brands, Pond's rose powder comes to mind A likeable, inoffensive smell. More feminine, good as a signature scent and for daily wear. Would smell beautiful as a body scent, i.e. worn directly on skin, and smelled off your skin. Versatile, anytime wear. Avoid in very hot days. "Like"

It's quite surprising that this very beautiful Roberto Cavalli creation, which began exclusively at Harrods, has fallen way under the radar. I must admit that it can be quirky but having owned it for quite a while, it has bloomed and grown on me and I find it to be quite a gem! At first it reminded me of something I knew and that surely was due to the lovely aldehyde note which I happen to favor. With the passage of time its vintage familiarity has persisted and just yesterday it came to me... take a classic Chanel #5 before it lost its richness and blend it with an equally older and tender version of Joy and there you go! There is a touch of modernity, which may be the musky dry down, but all in all, a classic, stunning perfume for anyone who loves beauty and grace housed in a gorgeous bottle!
