Tobaccomore

This is one of the best well rounded and good performing tobacco centric fragrances out there. Of course, scent is subjective, but I like it better than Herod, and better than Mancera red tobacco (I have both, and both the red tobacco and the intense version). It is the epitome of a hidden gem. For the first time I am glad it is not well known, I need to buy another bottle before it gets overhyped like crazy. I only write reviews on things I buy and own, and I am so glad I bought this, because fall is here.

This fragrance suprised me as I really didn't expect much from it. It opens up very Kilian Paris back to black esque before drying down to something along the lines of Herod, but sweeter. Performance is actually better than Herod and pretty close to my vintage bottle of B2B.i was also impressed with the bottle top which I expected to be made from plastic, was actually made of metal with good heft. I think if you like B2B, 1821 Man Made, or PDM Herod, you will like this one. ----------------------------------------- Scent 79/100 Performance 90/100

I was excited to smell a new tobacco formula but unfortunately, I recognized this profile before. It’s not exactly the same but it shares a similarity to Arabian Oud Kalemat Black. I didn’t see that frag listed as similar before I purchased but either way I would have added it as well. It’s definitely a high quality and expensive smelling fragrance. So if you haven’t tried the KB, I would give it a shot.

I gave this a good test at DXB a couple of days ago and feel that the notes pyramid is mixed up. The opening is brilliant; I personally got strong Patchouli and Tobacco. This stayed for maybe 30 mins or so and then turned into literally every other scent which uses the current massively overused ingredient of Saffron in the dry down. It’s a skin scent for sure after the initial Tobacco blast and minimal silage. Glad I tried it but I won’t be buying if/when it hits the English market.

Generic designer sweet tobacco.

This smells very similar and in the same vain as Carolina Herrera bronze tonka to me. Maybe with flecks of givenchy enflamme. Smells nice so far.
