L'Homme Rochas Aromatic Touch

Really digging this stuff and I’m may be in the minority but I like this better than the OG (to be fair the OG is great but I’m getting burnt out on blue scents ) This opens up with a pleasant,green,outdoorsy smell that’s also slightly dark from the olibanum and patchouli! It’s very similar to a lot of the current fresh,green shower gels that old spice has however this is more rich and refined !! Aromatic touch is a fairly little near scent but in the mid and drydown it does get more smooth,rich and slightly incense-like as it dries but it still retains that fresh green,shower gel vibe !! Performance on this is decent as it lasts 6-10 hours but it doesn’t project a lot and is mainly a scent bubble type of scent that makes it a perfect work scent !! Scents that I find this very similar to are Swiss Army Classic and Aspen by Coty but even though it’s similar to these cool water clones it goes more in the rich,green direction making this not smell like cool water and too insence-like to not smell like Green Irish Tweeed. Overall rating -8 out of 10 !! Very solid scent to be worn casually at a very good price

The opening is vegetal green smell and I thought I wouldn’t like it. The magic came in the dry down when I was getting whiffs of one of my favorite scents which is jo Malone oud and bergamot. You think it’s gone but keep getting these beautiful wafts throughout the day. Glad I picked it up

Suprisingly this one is the scent that really pulls me from the L'homme line. No shade to OG L'homme, but this one is just better guys, get out of your blue closet and enjoy it for what it is.

This fragrance is very inspired by aventus by Creed & Tsar by Van Cleef and Arpels! It's green & aromatic fougere with fruity touch❤️ great release by Rochas 👍😀

My first impression was one of familiarity, and at first I made the connection to L'Insoumis, as other have below, but since I have that, I've pulled it out to place the two side by side. I can sense something shared here, but their overall impressions are pretty different. L'Insoumis is much more of a "throwback" in it's style, a bit rougher, more herbal, whereas Aromatic Touch is smoother, sweeter and more modern. I wouldn't click above to say they are similar, but the connection is enough that thumbs-downing the comparison seems wrong too. The split vote currently there seems appropriate. I can definitely pick up the shared wood note with SJP Stash that another reviewer mentioned. I would never have connected Stash and L'Insoumis, so a fragrance that threads elements of these two seems to deserve some credit for unexpectedness. I also noticed that no one is voting that is is similar to the fragrance which it flanks, the OG Rochas L'Homme. This is definitely different, but I like that, like it's big brother, this is not out of step other more typical contemporary designer men's fragrances, but stands apart by doing something a little different, and coming off as subtle, refined and mature.

When I first wore this fragrance, I was worried that the pineapple would keep me smelling like a pina colada. The tropical fruit notes were right there in the forefront...but they weren't alone. Underneath, there is a heart of woods and resin- warm and rich, and supremely self assured. It's green, too...but it's spicy/amber green, not watery green. I now don't think of pina coladas at all, but rather tropical conifers. It's a really special scent.

This one smells pretty good. I'm with other reviewers on the OG being better. This has a pickle aspect to it I don't find very pleasant. Not like Santal Supreme which I think is more akin to dill and tzatziki sauce. This is vinegary pickle but it's slight and not overly prominent. Very green but not a fresh green, more of an earthy, musty scent like a fur tree after a heavy rainfall. Good stuff however, not blind buy worthy.

I’m not usually into Amber and warm spicy fragrances.I blind bought this one because it was on Sale. What a surprise. I was expecting it to be sweet but the pineapple balances the spice and Amber. It is fresh enough to be in my daywear rotation and also warm with delicate sweetness for summer nights out. I find myself reaching for it more than I thought I would. It is age neutral. Anyone can pull this off

I didn't know how to take this scent at first. After a few wearings it is growing on me a lot. Very green and aromatic but not in a sharp way. Very smooth with a subtle sweetness in the drydown and the sandlewood is definitely present. Different from your typical blue fragrance but appealing and safe. Certainly a more mature scent. Its unique and a nice addition to my collection.

I think its fine at a discount cost. Pretty inoffensive and linear. I mainly get the apple, pineapple and ambroxan. It is somewhat sharp, but does have a bit of a soft edge. It reminds me something of Spicebomb Night Vision roughly. Pretty versatile. All season wearable in my opinion. Deep dry down has a fougere ish feel. Will say it is barely noticeable 5-6 hours in.

Well, well! I love the opening and mid stages of this which fade fairly rapidly into the same woody dry down of Stash by SJP. On clothing or hair this might shine better which would be very welcome as I find it a very enjoyable fragrance overall

I received this today after fragrancenet restocked.And I like it but I feel the original is way better. If you deciding on which one to get get the original. I would recommend this for anyone looking for something different.

Recently got my hands on a bottle. No ties with aventus. Wasn't expecting it either. Slightly green. Slightly gentlemanly. I get mostly green apple ambroxan and woods.

Zero creativity, another Aventus clone in a milions of clones. No thanks.

A blind buy from Primor: €18 for a 100 ml bottle. Nothing remarkable here. An unnecessary, forgettable fragrance: fresh opening, with something of a barbershop vibe and a decidedly dated freshness that brings to mind shaving foam and old-school deodorant. It isn't loud or overbearing and could perhaps work as a versatile fragrance for the office or occasional everyday wear. It doesn't pretend to be anything special, but it isn't devoid of quality either. It's not that it smells cheap, nor is it a bad fragrance. It's simply... mediocre, and rather disappointing. For now, it goes straight onto my list of failed blind buys. Would I have paid more for it? Nope! Could I have lived without it? Absolutely! In fact, had I been able to smell it beforehand, I wouldn't have bought it. Maybe that's why they didn't have a tester for this one.

I just can't get jiggy with this fragrance. The drydown isn't that bad but the opening is very off putting to me. In the beginning when I first sprayed this it smelled woody (which may have been the patchouli) and I hate to say it but it kind of reminds me of bug spray. I don't get any apple nor pineapple. But if you only care about dry downs in fragrances and not the opening you may like this fragrance because the drydown is a woody aromatic with a touch of barbershop feel to it. But I dislike the opening so much that I can't get to the drydown because the opening last for about 30 minutes to an hour before the bug spray smell goes away. Sorry to anyone that likes this fragrance but it's just not for me.

It's kind of nasty and bitter. There's a certain B.O. smell in the drydown. I just can't wear it. L'Homme Rochas in the blue bottle is MUCH better.

I like this one a lot as it reminds me of the scents of the 90s - 00s....reason why many people dislike this one is because it s not typical blue or extremely nowadays type of scent...it s quite aromatic as name says, and yes it is indeed similar to insoumis but on the other hand stands on it s own...for it s price it s quite good and unique to me and i don t regret my purchase at all...thumbs up rochas, you did great job. By the way - it s not similar to OG...OG is blue type of scent,.whilst this is green woody aromatic kind of perfume..and by my humble opinion...this is much better than OG

The one Primor I visited today in Marbella had a tester. Since I dig the original blue one, I had to try this. If you were around in the 90s, you might recall Quasar from Jesus Del Pozo. It was a major hit with those of us in our 20s back then. This one evokes Quasar appx. 80%. I still have a fresher batch of Quasar on my shelf I am using, so it is not my frag memory playing tricks, this Rochas smells quite like it. Which was the reason I passed (tho it was just 20 Euros) - I got the original, no need for a knock-off, however nice it is.

A fresher fruity take on L'Insoumis, which last for few minutes and Cedar Jumps In Quickly and adopt it towards platinum explorer. Its a good green fresh woodsy scent especially after shower and for all seasons. Longevity is not that good to expect but for the price its a good addition into your collection. Edit: On clothes last for more than 10 hrs, I am start loving it,

l'insoumis is indeed very similar. They depart albeit slightly in the drydown. It would be redundant to own both imo. I knew I knew the scent as soon as I sprayed it which is only good if you're into clones lol. I would consider l'insoumis the superior fragrance. It smells much more natural hits the nose much smoother.

Rochas knows how to make a scent smooth and luxurious. L’Homme Aromatic Touch, indeed has that smooth touch! The OG is a next level take on the now, IMO boring, Blue Category. Aromatic Touch gives the mid and base the room to flex and take the scent to a special place.

Opens similar to the OG shower gel blueness but with additional pine / green notes, dries down with a very close resemblance to Explorer Platinum. Unless you love the opening, it's not worth buying both.

Someone said this just smells like standard mens deodorant while I was wearing it. I'd say it'd suit someone older or more dressed up. Who's on a budget and wants something traditionally masculine.

People love associating fragrances that have a pineapple note with Aventus 😂 Creed might as well just trademark the pineapple note in perfumery.
