Madame Rochas 2013

I have a vintage parfum de toilet and pure perfume, a Madame Rochas Intense, which is an evening version of this scent, and the reformulated version. Despite many ingredients being stripped from the original formula, this version still retains many of the same characteristics of the original. This is a very ladylike daytime scent with a prominent and spicy, powdery rose. Silage is moderate compared to the original pdt and longevity is average, as are most modern fragrances today. The aldehydes are lovely here. It is a soapy floral infusion that's effervescent, airy, and light. This fragrance is wearable in any season and for me smells particularly wonderful in spring and early summer. The rose really pops then. This is my go-to fragrance when I am facing a busy day and don't have time to waste thinking about what perfume to wear. This always works.

This version is better than the vintage one I got! A beautiful, refreshing and distinctive scent due to the soft iris note, which I love !❤

Very Chanel 19 to me! Better longevity but overal very similar. I like it a lot but I already have a Chanel 19 edp and a Chanel 19 Poudree in my collection so buying this would be silly. Edit: Tried it again yesterday in the departement store because last time I was there I sprayed some on a tester strip and one week later it still smelled heavenly! It will go on my wishlist for its longevity is much better than the Chanel 19 edp I have, when I finish it this will probably replace it! It also has a 'warmer aura' then Chanel 19.

This is stunning. Strong aldehydic white floral with the iris really standing out. It's like a slightly greener version of Chanel No5 (more like the EDT than the EDP) and also shares a slight green ness with that of Chanel No.19, it's kind of like a love child of the two. It also lacks the beautiful depth that No5. Besides all of that it is a lovely fragrance that stands on it's own. I will also note the current bottle is not the one pictured, it's the one on the Madame Rochas 1960 version.

I find that the aldehydes come out quickly and the fast fadedown is a warm sandalwood, with a spicy floral backdrop. Smells very mature, in a good way, ladylike, sophisticated. I think it would be best suited for evening wear, at a formal event. It softens over time, turning into a floriental. I like it, but I don't love it, this is certainly occasional wear for me. It is more Mother of the Bride, than Bride.

This is perfume for a mature woman, perhaps someone 40+, confident and with an air of mystery. The iris and sandalwood make this scent airy and fluffy while the white flowers add some liveliness. The aldehydes make the scent very soapy and clean in the first hour or so, after that they are not as noticeable. A well-made scent, just not my cup of tea or appropriate for my age.

If I hadn't known it was Rochas when I tested the perfume, I would have taken it for Lancome Climat current version. Very similar, a bit heavy in my opinion. Similar to Chanel 19 but the latter proves to be more sophisticated maybe due to a prominent presence of iris note. Definitely worth trying.

In the First and Amouage Gold style, for saying something... balsamic and slider like a soap or a cream, but airy and misty too ... A great fragance only for Fall or Winter ... Question: IS REALLY SIMILAR TO MADAME ROCHAS 1960 ???

to diego.lesgart Yes, it is. At least in my opinion. A bit heavy as I had mentioned previously but also extremely long lasting. I would definitely buy it for myself.
