Mademoiselle Rochas Eau de Toilette

Mademoiselle Rochas was launched in 2017, starting a new pillar of women's fragrances by the brand. The fragrance, in Eau de Parfum concentration, was created as a tribute to Madame Rochas perfume (1960). In 2018, its first variation arrived on the market: Mademoiselle Rochas Eau de Toilette. The visual identity was maintained, but the box and the grooved label now feature white paint and the contrasting details have been given a more vivid color. It is worth remembering that, in hands, the liquid is more transparent than the one shown in the pictures on the internet. The floral-fruity signature was maintained, but it gained a more relaxed personality, reinforcing the campaign's slogan: “Fun in Pink”. For this, notes of bergamot, violet leaves, black currant, and pink pepper were used, in the head. In the body, a floral bouquet of roses, lily of the valley, Sambac jasmine and honeysuckle, as well as a plum note. In the base, cedar, musk, and benzoin enclose the olfactory pyramid. Mademoiselle Rochas Eau de Toilette is adorable in every way. Is its fragrance innovative? No. But it is timeless, cheerful, versatile, and full of quality. It is at these times that the positioning of a brand like Rochas is noticed. On the skin, the fragrance evolves on three main notes, the so-called key ingredients. They are: black currant, jasmine, and benzoin. Initially, there is an acidic and slightly fruity freshness, but it is not able to sublimate the floral content of this creation. Then, almost immediately, a floral accord explodes. Here it is important to say that, although many portray the body of this composition as a bouquet of white flowers, there are no indolic nuances. Jasmine and lily give light and green floral nuances, which gain a special touch of delicacy, thanks to the velvety aspect of the plum. Mademoiselle Rochas Eau de Toilette does not seem to change on the skin. But, over time, the rose becomes present and brings an effect that makes us imagine a change of colors when it gains shades of pale pink, that very clear one, which is used in bridal bouquets. Finally, the benzoin note gives the final finish, with its sweet nuances that do not make you sick, because they are balanced by the lightness of the cedar and, above all, by the clean effect of white musks. Mademoiselle Rochas Eau de Toilette is for all women: the young, the innocent, the sensual, the modest, the mother, the powerful, the humble, the romantic, etc. The woman of this fragrance has no defined age, nor social status. She only needs to represent a single word: delicacy.

Delicate musky floral. I'm getting mostly honeysuckle and a bit of rose with a powdery benzoin white musk base. My nose is not picking up on any plum, lily of the valley or pepper. I think that I must be anosmic to pink pepper because I don't detect it in any perfumes which feature it as a note like Roberto Cavalli signature, Banana Republic Peony and Peppercorn and others. At the open a quickly fading bergamot and a blackcurrent that lasts for a few hours at least. I do get a nod to Tocade in here somewhere. Mademoiselle Rochas EDT is a whisper. It reminds me of a ghost. This isn't a bouquet of flowers it's a little honeysuckle and a rosebud that a child picked and placed in your hand. You're trying not to accidentally crush the flowers because it's fragile and you love it. You want to keep it and for it to last forever even though you know it won't, like Zu Zu's petals. My favorite part is the tenacious long lasting white musk powdery makeup base. It doesn't smell like baby powder, it's like a combination of the natural powdery scent of some flowers distilled and segregated until the floral component is gone and all that's left is the powder. Also a little makeup powder. Subtle and lovely. Well groomed. Versatile. Update: After wearing this multiple times the cedar note is now noticed and I'm getting that pencil shaving impression people keep talking about. The lack of sweetness compared to many modern perfumes is what I like about this.

I don't believe in blind buys. But this is my first and only successful one. 30€ for 90 ml. The packageing and the bottle are superb in quality - perfect atomizer/sprayer! The scent itself reminds me of Chanel Chance Tendre but less headache inuceing and with a warm strong violet note we all know from Daisy. The dry-down is really plesant, no weirdly sour or metallic notes (that I get from Daisy) - really high quality skin-scent feel for at least half of a day. All in all I would say it is like MJ Daisy and Chanel Chance Tendre but at the same time better than either of those perfumes. And let me remind you - for only 30€! I just can't believe it can be true. It is so good I literally might wear it to my wedding. EDIT: This seems to be discontinued, so I ordered the last 3 bottles from one shop that still had it. This is just wonderful.

It's a YES for me! I can definitely pick up: the blackberry, the rose, the honeysuckle, and something that keeps the smell fairly light but still there for quite a while. This almost reminds me of the blue fragrant, Shower to Shower powder, but not exactly. It's simply pretty!! I am someone who does not like many white florals and who does not like to smell like an "old lady"...to my nose anyway. I feel like I can wear this on a date, or holding a small baby, or going to a football game - and not be too flowery, or too in people's face, or too sweet to the point where it's annoying. Lovely!! I got this from TJ Maxx for $12.99 @1oz - and I ain't mad at it!!

Green and delicious. Honeysuckle, rose, and black currant create some magic along with the musk. The fruit is juicy and the florals are soft and creamy. I REALLY love this, it's my favorite of the Mademoiselle range. It also PERFORMS!! Yes, it's linear, but who cares? It smells GOOD. And lasts hours and hours. Unbelieveable for an EDT, Lancome could bottle this and charge $98 for it! I think my 1.6oz was $16 shipped.

Lovely clean scent, something what you can call very femine and will do well in all situations and places. Ageless and universal. If you like jasmine and lily scents, like I do, this is a safe buy. For how cheap you can grab it - this is crazy quality and a gem, gives a bit of that chanel vibe. It’s not crazy long lasting but decent. And one last note - my boyfriend loved it.

Whenever I wore the EDT, it kept reminding me of another perfume, but I couldn't figure out which one. It just occurred to me that the dry down is similar to that of Kenzo Flower EDP. The incense note is missing, and it is less powdery, but other than that it is like a fraternal twin. If you like one, then you will probably like the other, as I do.

fresh scent, i smell peony although it is not written on the list, drydown is similar to mademoiselle rochas eau de parfum. what I smell is a musky floral, very pleasant in hot weather. longevity is about 6-8 hours on the skin. It's a safe fragrance in the good way because it's a déjà vu (deja smell?), but it doesn't smell cheap.

One last thought because I know I'm gushing about this perfume. The noses on this also created Idole, Good Girl, La Belle, Angel Nova and Love, Chloe. I think you can smell that dna here. And again... Great quality and value, tied up in a cute pink bow.

LOVE it! Reminds me of something I had back in the 1990s.( Maybe Byzantine????) I definitely get the Honeysuckle, Rose, Jasmine and I think the Plum grounds it! Love it! Great blind buy for me. This is the type of perfume I prefer.

This is so girly, anazing. I just love this one. Long lasting, freshy vibe. The kind of scent i will use for any occasion.

My bad. I should have realized I just don't need another fragrance in this genre. As other posters said, this is a very pretty scent in the vein of Daisy and Chanel Chance Eau Tendre. If you don't have either of those or much else in the fruity/floral group then by all means go ahead and purchase this. It's enjoyable, feminine and fresh and good value for its very inexpensive price even if it's really not very long-lasting. If, like me, you already have a good representation of this genre in your collection then give it a pass. It doesn't bring anything new or interesting to the table. I share the incredulity of the poster who was surprised at this as the end product of the collaboration of four well-regarded perfumers. It's fine - just really not original in any way. Update - 10/26/23 - Well I'm actually enjoying this little scent way more that I originally thought I would. It's somehow very uplifting and I really need that right now.

Blind buy after I discovered the edp - and I liked it - and based on the opinions here. It is love at first sniff. And it very much reminds me of regretably discontinued Hippy Fizz by Moschino. It is fresh and girly, it is green and citrusy. It has the black currant perfumes dna that is so modern and likeble these years. It seems to me the perfect day perfume for spring and summer, but I'll wear it with great pleasure anytime, anywhere.

I lovethese type of scents they do just theright stuff on me. Thisbis fresh, bright, fruity in a yuzu way, not edible per se, a touch green, and some clean musk lending a wood fuzz fresh thing. Sillage more than the edp, its very different smell tothe edp and couture. Does the same thing to my nose as freshly sprayed jadore... champagne fruit yet not sour plus the slightly sweet dewey fresh green stuff

I think this is very pretty, light, sweet, feminine. With such a pretty bottle, it would make an excellent gift for a girl in her teens who likes floral scents. I get a lot of rose in the opening, but then it dries down into a soft blend where nothing really stands out to me. It's an easygoing, flirty scent.

Freshie, with green and clean fruity undertones. Today is quite hot. The fruit is pulling today. It's shower fresh so to speak, slight wood, the green is gentle. Quite pretty. It's not a sweet pretty if that makes sense. It's jn the same vein as Lanvin I guess.. the princess line.

I didn't like the original Mademoiselle Rochas, but this is much better. It's a fresh floral scent. I sense jasmine and honeysuckle the most, but there's also a light violet leaf note. A quite good fresh scent in my opinion.

Green fresh floral. A while later i detected more of a dry feel, and a quieter scent, still floral, lost the green

I wanted a fragrance for hot summer weather and the consultant recommended this one. I like it more than the EDP version because I dislike the red apple accord. Here I can hear the green and juicy apple accord, but it's not mentioned in a list. It lasts 2-3 hours on my skin and I need to refresh it. What can I say about Mademoiselle Rochas? It is safe, pleasant, very girly, very generic. I've chosen the small bottle (30 ml) and that's enough for me. I'm not sure I will buy the second bottle of this.

Sickly sweet teeny juice, honeysuckle all the way with some savory blackcurrant in the background. Most of the notes from something that could have been interesting pyramid are drowning in sticky sweetness. Wearing this in summer, I picture bees all around. 2/10

This is very close to Marc Jacobs Daisy in the opening. I pick up greenery (just like Daisy). Mademoiselle Rochas EDT starts off with black currant, dewy pink rose, a mix of white florals, and greenery. It settles into a light pink floral with a soft cloud of musk reminiscent of Lancome's Idole. I like it, but I was hoping for something more original, especially since it took like 4 perfumers to pretty much copy Daisy. It even has that green banana note that I find in Daisy and most flankers (especially Eau Fresh). In essence, I just discovered a quality, affordable dupe for Daisy that I wasn't really looking for. I live in a hot humid area, so I'll just add to this to my rotation...especially since my husband loves it. I normally don't comment on packaging, but the bottle and cap are heavy and beautifully made even with the 30 ml bottle I bought. Edit: I like it, but not in the crook of my elbow; it just intensifies the green notes there. Much better on décolletage, and wrists where it develops as soft pink florals and delicate musk.

I am happy with this buy. The scent is bright, fresh, sweet and lovely. An image of a young lady (young parisian alright). This is pleasant. This is a safe buy. I don't usually like fragrance with citrus elements, but this one is just so well balanced. I love plum, red flowers, and non-citrusy fruits. This perfume is an amalgam of those things, made really well. Thoughtfully. Day time perfume, obviously. Very innocent. Moderate sillage, not an overkill. A well-balanced scent for all-round year. Sweetness is not overbearing, so I think it'll still be good for summer too. This perfume speaks youth to me, so if you aim for it then it's your go-to frag. However If you want more mature stuff, then I guess you'll need to keep searching.

This is a surprisingly lovely fragrance whose longevity is beyond amazing! I find it quite sweet and perhaps that is due to the fruity notes of black currant and plum, along with the white flower notes and rose. This feminine fragrance would work for just about anyone who enjoys a fruity floral scent that is well crafted and has a very reasonable price point...and it's a Rochas! How nice is that?

This is very beautiful. It is a sweet scent, youthful and cheerful. To my nose it's rather fruity than floral. It is unique, very well blended, smells expensive. Safe blind buy if you like florals and do not mind a bit of sweetness/gourmet.

As much as I love Mademoiselle Rochas Couture, Mademoiselle Rochas EDT is a generic, linear, white floral snooze fest in the same vein as Daisy, Chance, etc. Utterly forgettable to my nose. Going up for sale.

-Mademoiselle is a fresh-out-of-shower scent. -Generic, but makes for a dumb reach. -I prefer the EDT over EDP version personally. -Not fbw. (-)

this is a pleasant floral which is lovely, bright and airy but nothing new here. a safe blind buy. it a thumbs up for me.
