Tuberose pour Femme

Yes, this is incredibly similar to vintage Fracas parfum. I heard once upon a time vintage fracas was relatively easy to come by and affordable; however that does not seem to be the case these days. Also, I'm not sure if it was just bad luck on my part or an actual storage-aging issue, but several purchases (on the more "affordable" end) have resulted in virtually base-note only fracas parfum bottles for me; which aren't very pleasant. This Roja smells of the one glorious vintage fracas sample I drained and have been since chasing. If you're willing to gamble you can still come out ahead on the fracas parfum. If you're not the Roja can still be occasionally found for a "somewhat tolerable" price. IMO no Roja is worth the MSRP; and I'm positive even discounted most of your money goes to the bottle. That said the bottle I found clearly had seen a some rough days and all the notes are INTACT. I can't say the same about several Fracas experiences~

This is lovely. One of the most wearable tuberose centered fragrances. By nature tuberose is very heavy and strong. This is bright from bergamot and juicey from the peach perhaps. You definitely get tuberose as the star at the start but then mellows. The mock orange blossom and labdanum soften and warm the scent. The dry down is warm, floral and almost fruity. It's never cloying or heavy. I do think it gets a little bit soapy with time but I don't mind it. I'm not sure I would just call it tuberose though because the other floral and fruit notes become quite evident with time. You can tell good quality materials have been used but I still think the price tag is rather OTT. Good longevity and sillage.

Roja Tuberose extrait hits the mark of a well crafted elegant tuberose centered fragrance. Its lush, nothing jarring or out of place. Ive tried a tuberose fragrance at all the price points and this is the current winner without scouring the planet for vintage. Save your time, buy this instead. Quality Quality Quality. A love. Very lovely and elegant. It is very similar to Fracas maybe a little softer with more Orange Blossom. It blooms on my arm. Never fell in love with a Roja till now so I might buy a FB. This has just the right amount of juicy sweetness but I smell no animalic notes. Yep the more I smell the more I like. The only reason I would not buy is if I decide it really is very similar to Fracas. We shall see.

My dislike on this perfume is due to the fact that I hate tuberose and white florals and I don't get along. The fragrance is actually magnificently crafted. It projects, it is complex and layered. If you are going to wear a tuberose, this is probably the best. This definitely has legs (sillage). It lasts so long. About 12 hours. Of course, some of those 12 is with it as a skin scent, but still: impressive.

Ok it's better and more natural smelling than most, but still not enough to justify the price.. I'd still opt for Moon Bloom instead.

The tuberose is definitely there and I also sense a lot of gardenia - it reminds me a lot of Madonna's Truth or Dare.
