Jasmine Freak

The opening of Jasmine Freak is to die for, no kidding! I don’t know how a scent could be so addictive, but I can’t stop sniffing my wrist, it’s so mesmerising... Sweet, warm, fruity, almost candied jasmine, tuberose and ylang ylang, what’s not to love about this?? The combination of tropical&white florals with mango, citrus and black currants smells so refreshing, juicy and delicious. I particularly like the blend of mango with ylang ylang, I feel like these notes are the stand out of this perfume. And some of my personal favourite for warm weather fragrances. After testing some of Room1015 newer releases, I didn’t believe that they could launch something better than Cherry Punk Extrait, until I smelled Jasmine Freak. For me, this perfume is spectacular. It’s divine! It’s different, while being a white floral! During spring and summer time this year, Jasmine Freak is all I want to wear! My next purchase will be this! Edit 10.03.25 I purchased a full bottle of this beauty.

I'll preface by stating: I'm not a fan of strong "fruity, fizzy" openings. The MANGO note in Jasmine Freak initially scared me off. And I am officially ADDICTED to this stuff. THIS perfume is really really nice. I'm surprised at how much I love this fragrance! So, citrus and mango notes are clearly notable in the opening, as is pepper. But characteristic of many fruity openings, the fruit notes quickly pass. Jasmine emerges, as does a bit of tuberose and ylang-ylang. This perfume definitely wears as a jasmine forward, mixed floral fragrance with a musky backbone. I do not find this fragrance particularly tropical (thankfully). I'm surprised at how much I love the way jasmine interplays with mango and other fruity notes. Just wish the duration was greater, as I find myself frequently reapplying throughout the day to maintain a level of fragrance I prefer. Not understanding how folks can say there is little, or zero detectable jasmine in this fragrance. Love it!

I like this fragrance but it isn’t what I expected it to be. Jasmine Freak opens with a very juicy tropical fruit mix, which remains throughout the life of the fragrance. I don’t really detect any florals. I was really expecting to have the juicy tropical fruits mixed with a warm, comforting and powerful jasmine note. I really can’t smell the jasmine or tuberose, which I’m a little disappointed at to be honest. Even in the dry down, I’m struggling to pick up any florals. It’s a strong like but not a love. It just isn't what I thought I was buying. It is a fun, uplifting, positive scent and I will still enjoy wearing this. If I’d tested this instead of blind buying it, I might not have bought it at all. I’ll give my bottle a week to settle and recover from the shock of shipping. and test it again. I’ll update my review if my opinion changes.

This is a beautiful jasmine-forward scent. Sweet and heady, but in a good way (and I'm not usually a fan of white florals). Feels like a tropical summer night and performs in heat and humidity. This is one I do overspray, so I have the 100ml. Projection is on the lower side of moderate and longevity could be a lot better. But when I catch a whiff of myself while I'm walking babyyyyyyy. This is a confidence booster, compliment magnet, head-turner. All the things I want from a summer fragrance. GORGEOUS. ETA: I agree with reviewer LotsofLisa76 that this will conjure up memories of a drink! First time I smelled this it brought me back to a rooftop bar I visited in Panama City. We had gorgeous views, not a cloud in the sky, and the bartender's full attention. It's a really lovely scent that brings me back to that day every time I wear it.

This is so addictive. Juicy blast of mango right at the top that lingers throughout, then comes the bubblegum tuberose - now I typically HATE bubblegum scents - however it’s very soft here and it is overpowered by the fruity tropical notes and the jasmine which knock that bubblegum note away as it drys down. This is beautiful, but beware you need to enjoy very sweet scents and that holiday/vacation inspired vibe. This is definitely signature scent worthy. Projection is good but not beastly, it leaves you in a gorgeous scent bubble, longevity is worldly. EDIT - Longevity not as good as I first thought. This is one you need to top up. Becomes a skin scent after 4hrs. However, its so juicy and addictive I don't care.

WOW!!!! This stuff is SEXY! This is going to be one of my go new to fragrances this spring and summer. I have only worn this for about 3 hours So I'll get back on longevity. Sillage is decent. It seems to linger in a gorgeous trail without announcing its arrival in a brash way. The mango in this is yummy and juicy. Its a stunning well blended perfume and i need this in my life!!!! Edit: longevity is awesome, I put it on after myshower and it was still on skin (faintly) buton my clothes it was a strong as when I first put it on. This one makes me so happy Edit: just ordered a full bottle, cannot wait for this to arrive!

It's a really beautiful sweet jasmine with tropical fruits to my nose. I feel like there is a little bit of spice as well, but it's not the sharp metallic black pepper that I normally get, when black pepper is listed as a note. If I hadn't read the note structure, I would have guessed a midgen of cinnamon. There is an aspect in the scent profile in the mid, that reminds me of Love Delight. I think it's the jasmine. By no means are they a dupe. Also, I personally do not see a similarity to Love Don't Be Shy at all. Overall, it's really addictive.

Juicy, sweet and floral without being juvenile. I do not think it smells anything like LDBS. It does remind me of My Way, and Prada Paradoxe, but I like this a bit better. It reminds me of a jasmine green iced tea. The mango is subtle, but it definitely enhances the white florals. Im glad the mango isn’t the main feature of this fragrance — I don’t want to smell like a Hi-Chew. I wouldn’t say it’s anything super unique, but if you enjoy white florals, this is worth sampling. As a jasmine lover, this is one I’m gonna need a full bottle of.

Extremely misleading but nevertheless a pleasant tropical fruity floral nothing very unique or special, smells pretty much exactly like the juice color, a super bright saturated orange. I wish I personally got more jasmine, I get mainly a bubblegum tuberose that comes out along with a creamy soft ylang to form a tropical bouquet. I think if this was marketed differently than a freaking revolutionary jasmine it would be a huge hit but feels like it’s still missing something from making this a LOVE... maybe more jasmine

This perfume is beautiful!!! I really like it on it’s own but for layering... it’s a whole other level. Its a very realistic jasmine, sweet, delicate, but with a fruity twist. To me, this smells like the sun. I started layering it with my other fruity summer scents and I got a compliment EVERY SINGLE TIME. It’s full bottle worthy if you’re a white flower girly and specially because it’s soooo easy to layer with everything to add that feminine/floral/sweet touch. Longevity and sillage is great!

Opening is an almost ripe mango and jasmine - strong and tantalizing - a half hour or so in you begin to get more of the tuberose and then one hour plus in - you get a scrumptious and soft dry down of musk (and to my nose) an almond-y sweetness. This is beautiful and versatile. Living in a warmer tropical climate - I can see myself reaching for this year round but it would be beautiful for spring into summer. It manages to be both special and unique and a mass-crowd pleaser.

On the opening, I smell fruity shampoo, very forgettable. But then the sweetness really quiets down and the white flowers begin to shine, particularly tuberose! Oh it is sexy and heady. Very light actually, not very grounded. She's floating round and round like a little fairy. In the drydown, it's both sweet enough and floral enough to feel just right. Really love this one and am secretly planning to give it to my best friend as a gift for their birthday.

A very refined spring-summer fragrance! 🥭🍊 The scent is cheerful and feminine, with a prominent note of mango—juicy and ripe. The same goes for the orange 🍊. Blackcurrant adds a slight fizzy lemonade-like touch, reminiscent of cream soda. The floral notes are very soft, with ylang-ylang standing out the most—sweet and candy-like. The softness of the fragrance seems to come from the base, which gives the composition a very airy and velvety feel.

It feels like a kiss out of nowhere when you’re in the middle of talking ... if you already love the person (or the notes in the scent), then the intensity is welcome, but if you don’t feel it, you’ll hate the experience. I enjoy it but not for every day or every mood! EDIT: when I actually wore it on my skin a few times, I fell in love with it. This is my party fragrance now, or date night, because it’s so flirty and delicious!!

This does have the jasmine smell but it is not indolic at all. The sillage of this reminds me of Jasmine de Toscane by Jacques Fath. I smell the fruitiness and how tropical it is but maybe its just my nose but i do smell a grape here like a white grape. When it dries down, it gets to a candy-sweet smell but not too sweet. I truly cant stand Jasmine/White Florals but this is a Jasmine scent that I would totally rock.

Not usually a fan of florals but the mango here is really the star of the show. It's not so much of a natural mango, more of a mango juicy or syrup. But the jasmine keeps it from being too sweet. It's a very fun and uplifting fragrance. A friend of mine told me it smells like Jasmine mango bubble tea to them and I totally agree (not creamy at all tho, imagine a non diary, sweet , jasmine mango tea).

Ok I get it. Some people wanted full blown white floral jasmine. In my opinion Chopard does a great version of that if it’s what you’re looking for. This is not what this perfume wants to be. Juicy, fruity and young with a lovely undercurrent of florals that keeps it from being too saccharine. If Mood Ring by Phlur had an older cousin maybe. It’s not for everyone but I thoroughly enjoy this scent.

This was a love at first sniff. I am not a particularly jasmine loving person but the combination of jasmine, mango and pepper makes the jasmine less of a mature one and the presence of jasmine and pepper tones down the mango from a synthetic, cloying, mango forward fragrance, into an elegantly, playful, sweet jasmine scent. Haters of jasmine, don’t be afraid to try this fragrance.

Beautiful, soft, and well blended. I was given a sample and I didn't have high hopes as jasmine can be hit-or-miss for me. The jasmine is not overpowering; actually, it's not that prominent. I can see how those who would like a straight-up jasmine fragrance would be disappointed because it's very name suggests that it would be. Anyway, it's a hit for me and I bought a bottle.

I absolutely love this one as much as I love Wavechild. It has the same candied opening, but with Mango instead of Watermelon. Even the dry down is similar but the jasmine takes center stage. It's fun, bright, sweet, and happy! It's like summer at the beach, boating with friends, Miami night life, or straight up vacation in a bottle. I will be wearing this a lot.

I'm not the biggest fan of fruity florals, but this one comes off tropical and for me, its addictive. I definitely get the jasmine, but I wouldn't say its the most prominent note, also it's a non indolic jasmine. I smell a very prominent mango and a good bit of ylang ylang. Really good. I bought a decant and have moved onto a full bottle.

Haters will say this frag doesn’t live up to the name but I find this scent VERY freaky and sexed up! The opening is fruit nectar, borderline citrus, she dries down and projects like a fluffy, jasmine-y, musky, heady, horny cloud that I personally can’t get enough of. FB worthy, my only qualm is the tacky bottle cap. 9/10

Beautiful fruity jasmine. I think this could be easy to over spray if you're sensitive (me). This dries down sweet and woody on me; it's closer to the skin and slightly warm. It reminds me of Wavechild in the dry down just less sweet. I really enjoy this. It's fruity, juicy, lightly woodsy floral.

Jasmine heavy, but not in a bad way. As a non-Jasmine type of person this is actually gorgeous and super wearable. Normally anything with the jasmine and blackcurrant combo ends up being akin to Armani My Way to my nose, but not this! I love her omg 😩

this is skinny dipping at the beach on a hot summer night. it’s clubbing until 5am and walking home during the sunrise. it’s getting sweaty with your lover in the early hours of the morning. this fragrance is for sexy, sweaty moments and it’s perfect

Ylang and mango are two of my favorite notes and so I am really enamored of this. A tad synthetic but overall really good. It was a blind buy, but a successful one! Look forward to wearing this in the warmer weather but loving it in the winter, too.

There's a bar on the beach in Barbados that doesn't have bar stools, it has rope swings for seats. They serve a Spicy Mango Margarita like nobody's business. That's what this smells like... that whole scene. That was a good day.

fruity sweet orange and mango (more orange than mango) over tuberose and jasmine. It is fresh, juicy, floral summery, I really love the scent. So sad.... it does not last! It is not a jasmine bomb.

An absolutely stunning and very sexy, summery jasmine. The kind of dirty that's not offputting, but 'dirty' in the sense that it does have something super alluring and sexual about it.

Bought a sample and it really reminds be of Oriana. At this point that's all I can think. I do like it but was expecting something different.

this is a great fragrance that fits all settings. in my opinion, it's inoffensive. I don't think it's for a freak though.

I smelled this at ScentXplore back in December in NYC. Hundreds of fragrances but this was my top 3 finds there.

Hello Lover! Get it! My fav from Room 1015!

I sprayed 2 1/2 sprays on my pulse points on a cooler June day (high 60s). Immediately I could smell ripe, syrupy mangoes with a bit of orange and some nonspecific white florals. The mango note was freshly ripened, not too green or too overripe. The first five minutes progressed to a very bubblegum, tuberose heavy note accompanied the syrupy fruit notes. Then some creaminess from the ylang-ylang. After about four hours the dry down is warm/woody with a hint of citrus and floral notes. It smells very tropical and like it theoretically would be perfect for summer because of the mango and ylang ylang. However, it is not light and sweet. It is a heavy, syrup/nectar-like fruity scent with lots of bubblegum-like tuberose and an almost sunscreen accord at times. It's pleasant, but I feel it would be really heavy on a hot day and might cause headaches if oversprayed. It was almost to the point of cloying for me which is very rare. Longevity is moderate (lasted around 5-6hrs). Sillage is moderate, fading to intimate by hour 4. The fragrance is not what I would have thought from the name. I was hoping for more jasmine and lighter fruits, but I did like this fragrance. It's certainly a 1-2 spray max for me because of how sweet and heavy it is. I will probably only wear it on cooler summer nights or if I am at an outdoor function (e.g. beach, outdoor restaurant, etc). Definitely try a sample a few times before you buy!

This one is way fruitier than I thought it would be with a name like ‘Jasmine Freak’. Initially I only get a flavourful burst of mango and blackcurrant, and no white flowers at all. It is almost leaning towards a peach smell, but I believe that is just how the top notes blend together. The ylang is also prominent in the opening and gives a very tropical touch, which is nice, it is just missing the jasmine. After a short while the jasmine emerges, but it is never very dominating, but blended with the ylang and fruits it gives of a slight indolic touch. Maybe that is the ‘Freak’ part of this perfume. After a couple hours when this has dried down to a sweet and floral, fruity mango scent it feels a tad generic. The only exciting part is how the pepper plays with the notes throughout the wear. In the opening the pepper helps with the fruits being not too overly sweet, and the same when the jasmine emerges. In the final drydown the pepper has unfortunately disappeared, and I’m left feeling a bit bored. Don’t get me wrong, this is a good option if you want a fruity mango with a velvety finish, but if you want a jasmine perfume this feels a bit too tropical and juicy.

Got this in a Scent Bird advent calendar. I've wanted to explore this house more beyond just Wavechild but hadn't even given this one consideration as I was expecting a jasmine bomb based on the name. I sprayed this without looking at the note so boy, was I surprised when I smelled the mango and cassis. Even when the florals come along, jasmine is accompanied by tuberose and ylang ylang so this is more of a white floral perfume than a jasmine one. If what you're looking for is something with a prominent jasmine note, this is not it, despite what the name may lead you to believe. While im not generally a floral girly, I liked this one quite a bit. The performance was also pretty good giving my several hours of projection before becoming a skin scent. This isn't going to fill a room and I think is generally pleasing enough that it would be fine for most office settings. I would be a great spring and summer fragrance. If I can find it on a good deal or maybe a partial I'll grab it since I just don't see myself instinctually grabbing for a floral fragrance too regularly.

I wasn't familiar with Room 1015 when I smelled Jasmine Freak for the first time, I expected something very indolic, almost sweaty-like but still balanced with floral accords. I second everyone saying the jasmine isn't prominent in this perfume. I was very surprised by the mango note and tropical feel. At first spritz, you're welcomed by a fruity cloud, akin to a summer cocktail with a hint of pepper. Then, the egyptian jasmine and tuberose develop in a creamy embrace, highlighted by the ylang-ylang for a sensual note. The musk and cashmere wood ground it beautifully and add depth to this scent. Definitely sexy but in a playful way. Perfect scent for a summer date night, or a fun night out. Can't attest to longevity and sillage yet as I only tried it in store.

Oh, this is a fun one. Younger sister to Wavechild, mango popstar to watermelon surfer chick. It’s a y2k summertime kind of scent, very... Escada? I can’t pinpoint which exact one, though. Maybe my general memory of an Escada ad, of swirling vector swimsuit models and sunsets. I’ve been wary of tropical tuberoses after being scared off by Vilhelm’s Moon Carnival, but Jasmine Freak is a lot less high-pitched and bright. Maybe because the fruity notes are the most dominant. Be warned: can leave the palest pink stain if blasted directly on delicate whites. Mental Snapshot: Spring break in the Caribbean, on an old CW show. Or Sims 2 Nightlife. Everything is all bokeh nightclubs and neon sportscars. Yeah, you definitely own a sarong. tl;dr: mango popstar 🥭👙

I wouldn't say there was anything particularly freaky about it. I was kinda looking forward to it being a little raunchier but it was honestly more palatable! Very light on the skin, so pleasant while photorealistically present a subdued jasmine. not too green for the floral lovers and not too heady for the ones who are easily scared off by Big Mama Florals. I tried D'annam's "In The Garden" the same day and THAT was a true jasmine, but very green, whereas this one is more of a safe buy (and didn't burn my skin lol) the longevity is so mid tho. sillage is too intimate. i find it a bit amateurish. i wish it was more potent so you'd feel like you're getting your money's worth. such a nice scent though.

White florals are usually a hard sell for me but I really REALLY like this. Juicy mango is the star in the top notes but Ylang Ylang steals the show pretty quickly. The tuberose and jasmine are gorgeous compliments to the juicy floral. I almost wish there was another base note to level set the feminine notes but this is nice as it is. I think it’s a safe blind buy as it does smell like something I’ve smelled from a drugstore body spray although this is much more elevated. I would like this in my collection but not enough for this bottle to be the VERY next bottle I purchase. I would recommend trying a sample and hopefully you’ll love it!

A true fruity floral! This scent opens with a bright burst of mango layered over soft jasmine, creating a fun, feminine fragrance that’s perfect for spring and summer. You’ll definitely need to enjoy both mango and jasmine to fully appreciate it. As expected from Room 1015, the quality is excellent. I plan to finish my travel-sized bottle, but I don’t see myself purchasing a full size—it’s not an everyday reach for me. Personally, I lean more toward Sonic Flower from the brand.

It's not bad, but gosh is it fruity SWEET! Truly bubblegummy. I was expecting the jasmine to come through a bit more with a name like that, so I was pretty disappointed. The jasmine is certainly still there, just overshadowed. I'll have to give it a shot on another day, but at the moment the sweetness is too much for my taste. Might be lovely on a tropical vacation, definitely a summery scent. I just don't think I'd wear something this cloying on a day to day basis.

On me this is a creamy, sweet tuberose and ylang ylang scent. I get almost no mango, just a hint of something tart in the background, complemented by the black currant. There's a touch of greenness in the opening and then it's all creamy white florals and banana to my nose. It is a sweet scent, but in an elevated way. It reminds me a bit of Marfa by Memo, they're not twins, but sisters or cousins.

Love this. Opening is strong. I think I over sprayed the first time and regretted my choices when I got to the office... however, as it dried down it was amazing. Beautiful, sweet, touberose fragrance. You can get the other notes as well. But mainly sweetness and touberose. Definitely worth trying. I would not recommend wearing in high heat! But great for this time of year and autumn for sure.

I can see how this could be interpreted as a generic designer fruity floral like Miss Dior, but it's quite pleasant to my nose. I tested a 1 ml sample and immediately bought a full bottle since I can see myself wearing this during the Spring and Summer months almost like a signature scent. The black currant touch reminds me a bit of Solaris by Penhaligon's, but the tuberose in this is lovely.
