A mediocre performer, but I can't complain when considering the generous intersect of quality and price. Opens with a perfect mix of jammy sweetness and fresh sourness. Dries down with stemmy hints of wood and musk. I've been looking for a comparable rose soliflore ever since Paul Smith Rose was discontinued. This is definitely not PSR. It lacks the sweetness and green, living stem, woody sharpness of PSR. I tested them side by side to be sure I wasn't just subconsciously favoring PSR. They are definitely different, but this scratches the same itch as PSR. I'd call it the golden mean between PSR and Tea Rose. Definitely a banger. If PSR is a garden arbor trellising climbing roses after a summer rain, catching the sunshine, and Tea Rose is the florist rose cooler, Rose of Bulgaria is the bouquet in your passenger seat or the bush in your back seat on the ride home. Fresh, wet, jammy but also toothy and sour in that way a fresh rose is. Really gorgeous. Subject to reapplication every few hours if you wanna wear it all day but, at this stupidly low price, you can easily justify springing the extra few bucks for a dedicated travel atomizer.

Opens wet fruity, almost red berries, rose. Mid is bright floral, a bit feminine rose. Dries down to musky dry darker rose. Great natural smelling Edp. The only con is cheap looking bottle. 7/10

A very nice and sweet dark rose, wearable by men. Simple and quality scent for the cold months of the year. The after shave lotion Rose of Bulgaria, same smell and very good protective effect after shaving, indeed.

Avoid Rose of Bulgaria for Men! The scent is sharp, sour, and chemical, resembling a mix of very strong laundry soap and hairspray. It caused immediate skin redness and significant nose and oral irritation, affecting the palate even when applied only to clothing. As a cultivator of tea roses and collector of perfumes, I found this product foul. The harshness suggests the ingredients likely oxidized from heat during storage or transit, creating caustic byproducts. My very worst blind purchase!

The Rose, the whole Rose, and nothing but the Rose! This is a fragrance that presents the rose as a musky, slightly fruity tea like flower which is delicate and transparent. This comes directly from Bulgaria, the "land of roses". It's a wonderful smell and it performed better than I expected for the price. It's both affordable and high quality (which is not something I can say often). It doesn't smell synthetic in any way so I can only assume natural rose essence is used here (probably derived from rose otto, which is the type available in Bulgaria). As an option for men, or men who love to wear rose, I think it's great. It's just rose, front and center stage. Nothing too boastful or complicated overall, with just a hint of darkness in the background so that it stays interesting on skin. The development of the fragrance is pretty linear. The rose dries down to a musky base, whilst still remaining fresh. It's in eau de parfum and that's always a bonus for longevity. That being said, it lasts around 6-7 hours on my skin (but getting fainter towards the end). I'd happily recommend this one as a great unisex rose, and a really great rose for gentlemen out there.

a very clean Ajmal Wisal Dhahab, red berries, top nores, jammy rose middle and base is a clean musk with very little sandalwood. light, nice to sleep with, slightly feminine in the beginning but who cares? very long lasting yet light. had it been powerful, signature status worthy, it's not powerful, for the price no regrets. I have enjoyed it. not buying again because of mellow sillage, I prefer bolder editions.
