It is my first time commenting here so excuse my speciality vocabulary. This fragrance was gifted to my father for his BD. My father is a man in his 70s and I would say that this fragrance is OK for this age in my opinion (especially taking into account my mother's preferences in her taste for fragrances). The fragrance is a budget one as its cost for 100ml was around 30$. I would say that it can be worn all year around as a day or night fragrance. When I did the first spray onto a paper strip I felt instantly a blast of lavender. I would guess that they've used Lavender absolute to create this fragrance as the smell is very strong of lavender with a blend of green notes, it's like when you take a few green leaves from the bush and smash them between your fingers, in addition to that the colour of the liquid is green-ish- blue-ish which can be due to the absolute's chlorophyll pigment. It took around a minute for the lavender to settle down a bit so that other notes can come into horizon, and the next very strong note that came as the second one was the sages note. This combo of lavender and sage here is very strong in the opening. The lavender note is present all the time just that it gets better and much more pleasant with the time. In the top notes I would say there was a bit of rosemary but so few that it was almost unnoticeable and I didn't feel almost any geranium. The middle notes opened with a fresh tender smell of bergamot that smoothed a bit the lavender and made it a bit fresher and slowly the shy jasmine and lily-of-the-valley started to show. I didn't feel any vetiver there. And The base opened up nicely with cedar wood and I didn't feel the petitgrain there almost at all. Just to mention that the lavender is so strongly present all the time, at some point it became intoxicating for me if I kept the strip paper for a log time close to my nose. After a few minutes 5-8, the aftertaste of the fragrance became very clean, green, soapy and lavendery :0 So, all in all, it's a lavender & sage + a bit of bergamot and Lili-of-the-valley type fragrance. It's a strong men fragrance that would have a good longevity and silage. Worth a try.
