I blind bought this based on the notes and an article I read here that essentially describes this as a thunderstorm with pouring rain on a tin roof, with water dripping off the roof into a bucket of car wash soap. Some are put off by the opening, but I find it very pleasant. It starts off like a mixture of honey dew melon with a bit of cantaloupe. From there it gets ozonic. Although there is a salty and mineralic element, I wouldn't classify it as a salty perfum. Heart notes is more like if of Sarah Baker Atlante had a baby with Creed Erolfa. It's got the rocky jetty element from Atlante, in tandem with the sea spray on a wooden ship element from Erolfa. My only beef with this perfume is I pick up the woody fixative (same one in Atlante) but thankfully, it does not last Into the drydown like Atlante. Into the drydown it becomes more musky, fresh, and ozonic. Not like petrichor per se, but more of the feeling of a clean, non brackish running fresh water, like a river. All and all, it's very wearable in the hugh heat. Even though it's an extrait and highly concentrated, it's clean and fresh in the drydown and doesn't feel heavy, while also still feeling substantial. Performance is good like every other Royal Crown I've tried. You may go nose blind but others will still smell the fresh, clean and ozonic vibe. This hits the mark for my affinity for unique and artistic niche, but also to just plain smell good in public. It's got an annoying fixative but it goes away and the drydown is legit. ----------------------------------------------------- Scent 90/100 Performance 80/100 P.S. The source I was citing has a bottle that she got at Esxence, and indicated to me a late June, early July release. It is unclear if she actually had inside knowledge about the release date or not, I would assume Royal Crown was telling Esxence attendees that a release was imminent (worst case within 3 months of Esxence). For now, the scent remains officially unreleased (at least for the moment). My reviews are quote "long drawn out" because I can actually describe product and how it evolves. Notice I can also speak fluent English (lol). Unlike some other people, I don't d-ride brands/product and claim that everything is 10/10, beautiful, unique etc. Next time just stay salty with your discounter bottle, and keep all that commentary to yourself. If you can't even afford authentic product, who are you criticize my opinions and/or collection?

I don't know of anything that smells like this, so I won't be voting on anything. With that being said, Nocturna & Sea Island are probably the 2 Royal Crown fragrances from where this borrows most of its accords. The underlying scent to me smells like eating melon by the sea - it's a very nice aquatic ambergris scent with a fruity top. Saw somebody say that the melon note is reminiscent of Nishane's Ani X and I agree with that, albeit it's not that prominent in Ani X. Performance on this is atrocious - I'm not sure it gets 2 hours. This is a cute scent to wear to the gym, or to the store that's across the street; otherwise the performance here is too bad to do anything with it.

A major musky aquatic fragrance with added florals. Musky but very well-balanced and sometimes acts ethereal depending on the ambient temperature. It has enough metallic hints that remind me of petrichor or drying cold water on rocks in the summer sun. Otherwise very office safe and extremely pleasant, not overpowering by any stretch. The longevity is slightly above average. Dry down is quite alluring to you and others. To be fair, it is quite suitable for all seasons but a master of the summer.

This is divine. It's fresh, slightly metallic summer rain in a bottle. It's light and airy but performance is actually very good, I've had people ask what I was wearing 8 hours after I applied. This will never leave my summer rotation
