Wow! Probably my favorite from the sample set, and definitely glad that I blind bought a full bottle with the set after reading the notes and reviews. This stuff is wonderful. There's a strong resemblance to 1 Million Prive here, but with a distinct plum note giving it added character... Could be an illusion but I think I pick up some light booziness too. If, like me, you've been searching for a 1MP replacement since its inexplicable discontinuation - this could be it. The price is absolutely right too ($45 retail, on sale for about $30 IIRC) and you can't go wrong with the $1 sample set if you want to try the collection first. Full performance remains to be seen after I give it a few wearings, but I can say it's at least average if not a bit higher. 9/10 stunner, fantastic release. EDIT: So the price I listed is apparently for a 30ml, which also appears to be the only size option. That changes my opinion on the pricing significantly, since $1/ml is pretty standard designer retail pricing and there's a TON of good options in that range. Royalty Garnet seems to be a twist/clone of YSL Y for example, but for that price you can just get the real thing. I'll still buy this to scratch the 1MP itch and because it's just an awesome scent, but definitely keep $/ml in mind.

About a year ago, I got this a rack store for 10 bucks.. i went back 2 days later and got every one they had. This is an attractive winter fragrance that gets attention. I just knew I had a gem. This stuff is amazing. Sweet, warm, sharp. Its such a wonderful fragrance. I have never smelled 1 million Prives, but from what it says here, I dont need to because this is that. If you see this fragrance somewhere, dont miss your chance. This gives me the feeling that its not going to be real mass produced.. but i could be wrong about that. Also, I will add that yes, this does resemble CK One Shock. But Shock seemed to just disappear from my skin moments after spraying. This felt much more substantial.. more richer and thicker than Shock. I felt the scent cloud follow me with this. But with Shock it just floated away.

This was another great blind buy pick up for me. The quality is actually really good for being a cheapie. Out in the air it is quite beautiful. Turns out is is a great alternative to the discontinued 1 Million Prive. Has that 1 Million line type of sweetness but adds a nice bit of spice and vanilla to the scent profile that is great for the fall/winter, but if you're like me then wear what you want when you want. It has pretty decent performance at around 6-8 hours of longevity with moderate projection, on my skin at least. For what it is, and the price tag you can find it for ($20 for 30ml at TJ Maxx) it's a great pick up.

This is a beautiful fragrance, and while it does remind me of CK One Shock, it's not exactly the same. I haven’t had the chance to try One Million Prive, so I can’t say how close it is to that. But I can tell you this fragrance is really nice, offering a sweet and vibrant tobacco scent option for colder weather compared to something like Banana Republic’s Tobacco and Tonka or Mancera Red Tobacco. If you missed out on One Million Prive, you should definitely grab this. I can see why so many people regret not picking up Prive when it was on the market, but thankfully, we have Onyx Royalty as a fantastic alternative. 8.3/10

Fantastic. 💕. Excellent bottle and top quality atomizer. The overall sentiment from reviewers below is spot on. Similarities to a smooth jammy lightly spicy Sean John, Azzaro Wanted Night, MontBlanc Legend Night or Bad Boy Extreme (without the cacao) Plum notes similar to Carolina Herrera Cobalt or Paco Rabbane 1 million Lucky - but the vibe of 1 million Prive. ✅ Smells great up close or in the air. ✅ 8 hours of a scent bubble. ✅ Smooth, spicy 🫚 slightly warm and indeed elegant and sexy.

This is a very elegant men's fragrance. It smells like the type of fragrance you would wear on a cool breezy night to a luxurious rendezvous on a yacht. To me the initial smell is very sweet & it fades into more of a musk during the dry down. I would recommend gifting this fragrance to a guy with expensive taste. Overall I would give it a 8.9 out of 10.

Ive smelled this a couple times and I have two words. WORTH IT! The opening is great all the way to the dry down, the dry down is mainly cinnamon reminds me of sauvage elixir just not as strong. You can’t complain for the price though.

Plum, cinnamon, and vanilla; difficult to go wrong with that combination! Gives off a more playful cherry tobacco kind of vibe. I am pleasantly surprised with Onyx. For the price, this is a banging fall/winter frag. Try it out

999,999 Prive.I was looking for something to substitute my 1 Million Prive and this is it. The same sweet, cinnammony, vanilla as the original. Perfect for the Fall and Winter. You can't go wrong with this one.

I tried this off a paper strip and immediately I added it to my to buy list! It smells sweet and elegant.

This is beautiful. The cardamom, pear, iris, vanilla, etc is nice!

#1216 in my "Tour de Fragrance" I did a side-by-side of this and PR "1 Million Prive." There's no myrrh here, which for me really sets Prive apart. And no plum in the Prive. Apparently cinnamon is all some people need to smell a 1 Million scent. For me all the 1 Millions are getting old in the tooth. So long deployed in mall retail outlets that it really qualifies as a dad juice. A few years at most from being thought of the same as CK Eternity. Been there, smelled that a thousand times. This is similar to the EDP Gisada "Titanium" and EDT Cristiano Renaldo "CR7", even some similarity to Natura "Homem Re.Connecta" and the discontinued Viktor & Rolf "Antidote." Of all those I prefer the Titanium. The iris is my favorite thing about each of these scents. But honestly, they're all getting kind of boring. While I like scents with the heavier fruit notes like this with plum, others with fig and dates, they do seem to weigh the scent down, if that makes sense, so for me makes it night time wear. Best thing about this is the low price. It's a moderate performer, not really more than you'd expect from an EDT. So you might want to reapply at lunch. Car pool, elevator and small office safe, but I don't really think this is office wear. Certainly not strong enough for club wear. More a dinner with your wife scent.

Definitely a very solid clone of 1MP with good performance for the price, unfortunately missing that excellent dry tobacco leaf note that really sets 1MP apart from other similar frags. Also missing is some.of that myrrh you will find in the original. No weird synthetic funk or alcohol blast on initial application that clones have far too often. Very natural smelling and seems to use high quality ingredients for the price. Performance is similar at around 6-7 hours with projection that's better than the OG IMHO. I honestly never got over 7 hours on skin with 1MP, I believe the performance is definitely exaggerated. I think this is a unisex scent. Best saved for Fall, Winter, and date nights. I got a 30ml bottle for around $15 and I have heard you can find 100ml bottles for around that same price. Great budget offering.

Apparently this is a dupe of 1 Million Prive. I never got to try it as it was discontinued around the same time I started my journey into the frag world, so can't really say anything on that. Nevertheless, this smells great! Super affordable as well. I picked my bottle up for <$20 at JC Penney. Definitely has that 1 Million DNA which I love. I pick up on that pear, cinnamon and creamy vanilla right away. The plum here gives it a touch of booziness. Iris is also listed here, but I'm not really picking up on it. The only downside is that it doesn't really last that long, maybe four or so hours tops. If you want 1 Million Prive, but don't have the money for it, or just want a fall/winter cheapie, get this stuff. 8/10

I have never personally smelt 1 Million Privé but this is a fantastic cheapie nonetheless. It starts off slightly spicy from the Cardamom and then the silky smooth pear, plum and a touch of bergamot come through. The vanilla and cinnamon show through the back ground creating this beautiful little fragrance. A wonderful rich cool weather fragrance. My biggest gripe with this fragrance is how weak the atomizer is. You need about three sprays from it to equal one normal atomizer application. Spray heavier with this because this is the weakest atomizer I have came across yet.

This is straight up CK one Shock after the mandarin opening. Have never smelled Prive though.

The note votes correctly list the experience wearing this. I have a sample of 1 Million Prive and it is a decent substitute if you're a fan of Privé if you can't find it or want to save some of money. But if you're picky then there are obvious differences. Where this has plum, pear, clove and iris, Prive has mandarin orange (which is very noticeable after the opening), tonka, myrrh and patchouli. Prive is a bit more alive and Onyx is a bit stale. This is a common experience I've had when comparing clones to the original.

This smells extremely similar to CK Shock to my nose. I sprayed one on each wrist and they are really very similar. Honestly wish I hadn't purchased the Onyx now since they are basically redundant. I purchase based on a review I saw saying this was basically a clone of La Nuit de l'homme.

This would be a good 1 Million Prive for someone who hasn’t smelled 1Million Prive...not hating, as they’re both good scents, but this is definitely missing some of the key elements that set the PR apart.
