First things first, the presentation is gorgeous. A solid carbon box with a top silver band and burgundy bottom colour with a top sliding silver drawer. And the bottle, same colour pair here, curved back bottle with a sort of dedication impressed on the front. Cheapy, yet nice. I am fond of the modern Creed Aventus scent, and to some extent, this cologne reminds me a lot of that aroma. A perfume with much, much charm. It’s not an Arabic perfume, by any means. But it’s a good perfume, which secretly keeps an oriental slant. It is somewhat familiar to us, but it comes in the form of quite hidden, subtle, particularly refined olfactory compositions. R U Serious is a semisweet scent with earthy, leathery, fruity and floral edges. It announces itself with a breath of freshness, lemony, clean, slightly smoky and leathery in the opening. Some bergamot blends with tangy black berries and underneath is a fruity accord of apples and pineapple. It’s amazing how real the blackcurrant smell is, vivid, and edible, with a woody, slightly animalic edge that sits between hints of green and red fruits. I have a plant on my terrace, and it’s full of fruits that ripen these summer days. The taste when I crush them under my teeth is identical. Luckily, I don’t get the “catsy” smell that we know these berries for. Then, the pineapple expands and surpasses the citrus and berry notes. I know Rue Broca does not mention it, yet its semisweet, fresh, and sour redolence is there, unmistakably. Perhaps, for someone, this opening might be a little too harsh, still, it lessens and turns more and more agreeable. These fruity and spicy facets soon transform into a smoky heart note of dense, smoky and woody birch bark. The floralcy is not exuberant even if woods and blossoms compose the heart. The indole part of the white flower of Arabia is subdued, and the rose looks more like rosewood rather than a radiant and dewy flower. But all this is good. The concoction is intriguing and moderately leaning towards the masculine, a woody-floral bouquet with spicy green spikes. Sun-dried ozonic woods and an erotic white musk seamlessly complete this delightful fragrance. While not a base that goes out of line, the ambergris in the form of ambroxan adds sapidity; the musk is slightly earthy and vegetal and akin to oakmoss. Last but not least, the patchouli appears stripped of its sweet edges and reveals its more earthy side. What remains for hours is a sense of burnt, fumy, and leathery trail. As an EDP concentration, it is a long-lasting scent for the cooler months. I like to wear it on spring and autumn days, in leisure time, and to go to work; the crisp air goes well with all the nuances this perfume takes on. However, even on slightly breezy summer evenings, perfume has its purpose, for a date or intimate dinner. So, a fresh scent, the unnamed pineapple is the soloist. Citrus, slightly floral, masculine, easily adheres to the skin, with mysterious aromas, even some grassy notes mixed with smoke and leather, then with a rather dominant mischievous patchouli note. Cruel enough! I'm basing my sensations on a bottle I've owned since June 2023. P.S. The notes listed on Fragrantica are for the For Her.

R U Serious!! Once again. Another Creed Aventus dupe/clone. I am not complaining though. I love the Creed Aventus DNA scent. R U Serious smells very similar to CDNIM EDT and many other Creed Aventus dupes/clones. It smells very nice IMO. A strong blast of fruity-citrusy scent. It dries down with a slight musky/woody smell. The fruity-citrusy is still present throughout the drydown. It last a good 6 hours on my skin and much longer on clothes. This fragrance is definitely in the Creed Aventus DNA vein. I am very happy with this purchase. A good blind buy!! Glad to add this fragrance to my collection.👍🍋🪵♨️🔥💨

Best Aventus clone in a decent price

The notes on this page are 100% wrong. Its a clone of Creed Aventus. In terms of price/quality ratio its beautiful. Got it at 15€ from Notino. Performance is medium, lasts long on skin and projects very well for about 1h or 1h30. I prefer it over my 30€ CDNIM EDT and my 30€ Montblanc Explorer. Its like a CDNIM with a much more well rounded opening and with a softer performance (my CDNIM EDT is very very loud and has a harsh lemon opening). Definetely gonna buy a backup ASAP.

I was pretty disappointed at first, I could only smell a very sharp woody/birch note and that was pretty much it. After an year, I let some air in the bottle and let it sit for a while. The fragrance has changed completely, I used to get no pineapple but now it's somewhat there, it's more like some sharp bergamot and very raw green pineapple mixed with some sharp birch type wood. Never owned the original Aventus but I can see why people might like it.

The first hour is very rough and even slightly off-putting, then softens and becomes pleasant. The scent of vetiver is strongest. After 2-3 hours the scent becomes sweet and everything smooths out. Nothing special. I don't feel any obvious similarities to Aventus. Perhaps, there is a slight resemblance only after the perfume softens. Overall rating 5.5/10

This is an Aventus clone alright! Has the perfect mix of fruitiness and smoke and is quite smooth overall, much better than CDNIM or other clones I have tried. Cannot really be compared to SNOI as that is more off the Hacivat side with blackcurrent and moss. The real problem here is the abysmal performance. It is as worse as it can be, probably the worst performing Aventus clone I have ever tried and actually might be the worst performing clone ever in all my experience. Lasts 3 hours max on my skin and project moderate for the first 30 mins, immediately turns into a skin scent and practically vanishes after 3 hours. On clothes, it is max 6-7 hours but again you really need to go on a hunt by sticking your nose to it. This is quite unexpected because my experience from Rue Broca has been quite decent with their other offerings, all of which had above average performance. Also, the presentation is really tacky and embarassing; with an overly misty atomizer. Overall, this is a great clone of Aventus, would have been my favourite if not for the horrible performance. It pains me to not reccommend this to anyone as it is practically aventus flavoured water, even though the cheapest, you'd be better off spending that amount to get Swiss Arabian Shawq which is the next cheapest bet, or save up and invest in CDNIM LE or SNOI.

Warning. The notes are totally wrong. It's this Top notes: Bergamot, apple, and blackcurrant Middle notes: Birch, jasmine, rose, and woody notes. Base notes: Ambergris, musk, and patchouli. But the ambergris and patchouli are very strong in dry down. I read the reviews. I admit I was put off by it being felt to be so weak. But picked it up for £11 and it's monster strong. Lasted a good five hours yesterday and bit worried about overspraying this because it is really strong. It's the OG Aventus , but like if it had an intense flanker as the concentration is much stronger. Too much over application will give you a headache. I'm a bit meh on Aventus. I know it's good but not good for me, but it doesn't mean I wouldn't wear it What sealed the deal though for me is the bottle. Oh this is a gift and a half. If you're a gf and want to leave a lasting impression on a literate intelligent male, get this one. That's a beautiful design.

R U serious? 10€ for this? That was my initial reaction now that i smelled it! Disregard the price, this is a clone of Aventus straight out of the box! Batch 06/22 .Yes its a little bit more citrus emphasised (but not the harsh citruses , the sweeter version) rather than pineapple but does the job! Not easy to to distinguish it. It lies somewhere between cdni and aventus. The bad thing is it last for 2 hours and does not project much! But comparing it to the new batches of Aventus... nothing new! Sprayer is great only the cap feels too plasticky but who cares of that! Also According to Rue broca (afnan s sub-brand) website the note are the following similar to aventus rather what fragracita states! I mean who the h*ll posted those notes in fragrancita website?! Top Notes: Bergamot, Apple, Blackcurrant Middle Notes: Birchwood, Jasmine, Rose Base Notes: Ambergris, Musk, Patchouli

Similar to aventus but sweeter, so it's also less fresher. Doesnt last that long but it does project decently during that short time. It's ok but nothing special. I won't be replacing it once finished.

It smells almost the same as khadlaj infini. Do not buy it expecting something better than CDNIM. It's musky, a little worse than rayhaan imperia which also Is not the greatest.
