Amore Torrido

This is a coconut dominant fragrance done right. A burst of crisp apple and grapes. Picture this, its resort breakfast time, you're having a coconut bowl full of fruits and maybe a mimosa with champagne and freshly squeezed oj, basking in the morning sun light with subtle wafts of nearby florals. With a slight lactonic nuance as well. Thats what this is. On the other hand I get a tropical slight fizzy, carbonated drink kind of feel to it. As it dries down it gets better and better for me. I'm not a big fan of just straight up gourmands but this is one of those exceptions. I find it to be perfectly unisex. Christian Provenzano knows what he's doing. I personally have no problem with projection and performance. This shines in the air and can fill a room if you're irresponsible on the trigger. In the Salas Art collection, the wooden box and crystal caps are a nice touch and worth the price of admission in my opinion. I'm looking forward to getting more wearing and assessing how it performs in the heat and/or on vacation this year

Wow. I've never smelled another niche perfume like this. Very creamy, very sweet, very lush and tropical and exotic. I heard an influencer describe this as a pina colada and I can see the resemblence, but I don't really get a true pineapple vibe. It has a very prominent apple and I feel like I can smell the apple, apricot, and grape, although they are very masterfully blended. So this doesn't come off as a pineapple scent to me, but those fruits with the coconut do create a tropical feeling. Very lush and sweet, almost syrupy at times although the violet and lily of the valley add a little something to keep it from being too syrupy (they play a minor role in the fragrance overall. I get a little powdery something from the violet in there). The sweet benzoin/vanilla/coconut dry down is to die for.

Very delicious scent. Fruity for sure. Off the top I get a sweet grape note, a bit or sweet red apple, but then there is dominant delicicous sweet apricot note that comes out. It ends up sweet, and creamy, but there is more here. I get the violet which is really nice, and I am picking up a little woody note w/ ambroxan at the base. As for a tropical scent? I don't perceive this scent as a tropical fragrance. But I do really like. Down side, hard to find, and quite spendy. Especially if you buy the bottle with the blown glass top - something I opted not to do.

I just received this perfume and I am in love!!!! The bottle is a pice of art but the juice inside is phenomenal. You definitely need to enjoy sweet fragrances, personally I am a gourmand girl. This has a huge burst of fruit, I smell a lot of coconut but not in a sunscreen type of way. It is a creamy and uplifting scent. The only reason I bought the bottle with the glasswork is because all the bottles without were sold out. I blind bought this and am thrilled that it met all of my expectations!

I’m so conflicted with this fragrance. IMHO it smells intoxicating and I absolutely love it. The problem is that after about an hour or so I have to really dig my nose into my arm to smell it and I go heavy with trigger 😂 This fragrance is way too expensive to go heavy with the sprays then to disappear. I unfortunately do not have influencer money but dang I love the smell of this heavenly potion! I wish there was a beast mode dupe for this one! (Wishful thinking 🤞🏼) 😂

Love at first sniff! The name says it all 🔥 I needed a bottle the moment I smelled this and am lucky to own one. A total compliment magnet. Women will swoon on this and men would blush. A total beauty ❤️

I bought a sample of this from My Perfect Scent (UK based website for niche brands) and when first sprayed it’s very tropical and very fruity. It dries down to sweet ambery coconut. At first I thought it was not long lasting with zero silage but actually I sprayed it twice on my t-shirt and twice on my arm. It lasted all day on my arm, like over 8 hours and has lasted days on my t-shirt I’ve been getting whiffs of sweet coconut all day. It’s beautiful. However, I am not sure I can justify the price for a tropical coconut scent? If it was like £100 cheaper I’d purchase it. But at nearly £300 I’ll have to pass.

Update: Ok I stand corrected. This just needed to sit for a few months. The sharpness is no longer there. I almost thought this was a different fragrance! There's something that comes off very sharp in this initially (think Erba Pura), that turned it into a like and not a love. I thought it was musk, but I don't see that there's musk in this so maybe the bergamot or amber?? The sharpness begins to fade as it dries down but not enough for me to warrant a FB. If I didn't get that one note, I would buy this in a heartbeat. So sad :(, yet so happy that I can keep my coins in my pocket.

Amore Torrido, your opening is everything. One of the brightest and juiciest openings I have ever smelled. That opening is a pure aphrodisiac. I can also see where Patricia888 is coming from in her opinion. The scent can come accross as somewhat basic and obnoxious (the sillage is great on this one), a bit juvenile. But it is just executed so well that it feels really addictive. It is a scent that you want to inhale over and over. The mid is very creamy with coconut without giving a sun tan lotion vibe. It’s nice, but well, kind of basic. But that opening, that opening.....

Smells artificial- so not too keen. If you get past the artificial smell and chemicals, it's smells decent, with a similar scent profile to sunshine by amouage (i significantly prefer amouage- its smells refined and stays put for longer). Longevity of this one isn't that great, about 2hrs where people can smell it on me, then it stay close to you. To smell this after the 2hr mark, just really got to stick your nose to the clothes. For that reason, I'll be selling. So PM me if interested. UK buyers only.

Too expensive for what it has to offer. It is a creamy fruity coconut fragrance. The packaging in my honest opinion should be more of a better quality itself. Sprayer is BAD. The huge cap fell off and the glue residues were visible to the naked eye. White Coco by Toni Cabal is exactly the same fragrance and you get it for 1/3 of the price. This is nuts expensive!!

Smells like cheap Strawberries & Cream with fake sweetener.

Reviewing again now I’ve had my sample a few months. In the opening I get a tropical fruit basket that I’m not overly keen on. It reminds me of fruits that are warm from sitting out in the Caribbean heat, on a breakfast buffet. While I enjoy that smell on an exotic beach holiday in the morning, I don’t love it on my skin in the cold of the UK. As it dries down the fruits do fade into the background and the coconut appears. At this stage I get a bit of an artificial, doll head coconut. As it dries down further it does get creamier and the coconut note improves, but it just doesn’t have the quality I’d expect from a £200+ perfume. If you want the fancy Murano glass style cap, you can expect to pay £320 for this. I just don’t feel this scent matches the price point. I over-sprayed this just to review it again because it disappeared out the tester, pretty much instantly, when I first tested this. Yes it does leave a subtle scent bubble, if you over spray like crazy, but it still doesn’t last! It very quickly becomes a skin scent, and even then it has disappeared from my wrists after 15 minutes. I can only smell this on my inner elbow if I hold my arm up to my nose. Maybe this is better suited so someone who lives in a hot country. I really wanted to love this.... I like it, but for me it’s absolutely no where near worth the price point. I feel there are body sprays that smell better and last longer than this. I’m really glad I didn’t blind buy this one.

It`s only my personal view...this is what trying too hard looks (read: smells) like. I have a feeling women who love to attract attention for all cost would choose - this is loud but sadly tasteless, nonsensical juxtaposition of fruits and non-descriptive sweetness.

Stunning. One of those rare times that for me the influencer hype actually checks out. A new favorite of mine for sure. Echoing the reviewer below me’s comment, I also haven’t smelled another perfume like this. This is one I would definitely repurchase and that says a lot when you have such a large collection. Tropical, creamy, sweet and seductive... love it. Huge compliment getter too by the way. I’ve worn it quite a lot lately because I'm addicted to this beautiful unique smell and every time someone says I smell great. It’s unisex but I think it leans slightly femme. It has excellent performance, leaves a nice scent trail and bubble around you. Does well in high heat with great longevity. Looking forward to trying more from this brand now that I bought this one. I wish they had sample sets though to make it more convenient.

I absolutely ❤️❤️❤️ this fragrance! Amore Torrido opens with an intoxicating blend of fruits. The apricot note seems to be more prominent than either the grape or apple. The dry down is a delicious creamy, fleshy, edible coconut. Definitely a warm weather scent that has become my number one summer fragrance. My daughter who is notorious for not complimenting my fragrances actually said I smelled really good when wearing this one. Yes, it’s a pricey scent especially if you purchase the bottle with the blown glass topper (so gorgeous), but unlike other companies Salas has made it available in a more affordable refill bottle which will save approximately $130. I don’t believe in blind buying, so I suggest getting a sample of this one before committing to a full bottle. It’s the gem of my collection!

Now that tomorrow is the last day of the year I can say with all honesty Amore Torrido is my pick for best release of 2023. It has an elusive quality that you're not sure what notes are blowing your mind. You keep sniffing yourself cause ya can't get enough. I tend to think it's the apple, grape, and coconut that creates an accord that keeps you coming back. There's a serious WOW FACTOR, with nice sillage, and good longevity. What else do you want from a perfume? I love how this House offers you a savings of $140.00 if ordered without the fancy cap. That's classy. I don't give a shit that it leans feminine. I'm a 72 year old man and plan on rocking this one in 2024.

I recently received a bottle of this perfume. For me the hype was bigger than the performance of the perfume. Immediately I sprayed it you can smell the fruits, but just for 5 seconds. After that nothing. On my second day using it, I smell pure alcohol, then it settle into an apricot scent through the day. But very, very subtle almost impossible to perceive by you or anybody else. In my opinion, is a good smelling perfume but a performance that is not consistent. The ADN is great, but if another house makes it, it will perfom better. Givenchy, Lancome even Carolina Herrera, they will do a better job making it.

This is a very elegant, tropical, feminine fragrance, it's fruity, sweet, creamy, smooth and airy. I can't really say this is a beast mode scent because only wore it a few times but you will definitely be able to smell yourself. This does not come off generic or typical. Tempted by @Vannamae review and a few other influencers on youtube, I couldn't help but to add her to my collection. Well worth it minus the high shipping cost lol...

I would love to purchase a sample of this somewhere. The notes sound wonderful, and hoping the coconut is not too forward. When it is well blended and not the main note I like it - when it grabs my nose as the main note throughout the fragrance, it can annoy me. I shall review once I can gets my hands on some! Thanks.
