Fabulous 1 - Dali

Interesting. It's softer, drier, and soapier than the original (which I adore). The blending is very smooth... less in-your-face, vivid-neon '80's floral heart, so the aldehyde-section pops. Still very retro... but refined and remixed for current nostalgic tastes. Kind of like the vaporwave version of a classic '80's hit. . . i n G O L D ! Actually... it reminds me of a cross between original Dali/Salvador Dali and White Diamonds. Lasts 24 hours on my skin across a winter day, starting off with moderate sillage, and falling to soft after 6-7 hours; after 12-13 hours (and extending to a full day- and perhaps beyond- after application), it becomes a skin-scent that is still quite noticeable at close-range. I still place the original SD above this one in terms of personal hierarchy, but I am very glad to own this flanker. Nice job, Mr. Morillas!

It is hard for me to love aldehydes in perfume but I can at least appreciate it. As much as I can't see any occassion where I would wear this perfume, I will keep it as I don't dislike it and I suspect I will revisit it eventually and love it. It's mature and has a rich texture of aromas. It has settled into a very white floral dry down with lots of warmth from the sandalwood and vanille. A keeper but too mature for me at the moment.

This is a good old fashioned spicy scent with a modern twist. Reminds of Opium Orchidee de Chine a bit. Not the same but very, very close. Or at least that's how it smells on me. Very sexy winter fragrance.I like it

I bought a miniature set having tried this one and been told the mini was the same as this. This is as fabulous as the reviews say, if only I can get my hands on it now :(

Sparkling fizzy champagne opening, the aldehydes are amped up here but the rest remains true to the original, just a little softer and smoother. The bottle is glorious!
