Sea & Sun in Cadaques

Now one of my memory-lane collection scents recently re-purchased, I used to wear in summers when in my mid-20s, now almost 2 decades later it smells exactly the same! Only with weaker performance, but since it used to be nuclear, I don't mind it a bit milder now... It still performs quite well and projects beautifully! This summer, I've reached for this quite a during the long heatwaves and enjoyed every spritz. :). In the first blast I get a lot of fresh type of apricots with delightful freesia that makes it slightly spring-air like. The kumquat and blackcurrant (i get blackcurrant leaves rather than berries) follow. Its sweet and lovely, not tooth-achingly sweet, but still a bit syrupy that marries well with the aquatic note. Its probably calone used here to create water lily and lotus fantasy notes, an uneducated guess ;) Sea & Sun in Cadaques is more fruity aquatic than floral aquatic on my skin and recommended to sample for touch of 90s (fresh!) apricot/kumquat/freesia. Dry-down is a bit unisex-leaning despite of initial sweetness. Imo its quite distinctive scent across the board, and not so similar with other Dalis, perhaps a little resemblance only to Cheap & Chic, but latter is not really aquatic...

Adoro este perfume, es un aroma agradable, delicado, fresco, femenino y limpio. No me canso de olerlo. En mi país no es fácil encontrarlo, así que durante un tiempo estuve tras él, hasta que por fin lo encontré y no me arrepiento, porque me fascina. En mí piel se destacan la grosella negra y el loto, que me encanta, el onmia cristaline que es un perfume que adoro, lo tiene también entre sus componentes. Seguro repetiré la compra. La relación precio- calidad me pareció excelente. Muy recomendable para climas cálidos y en verano. I love this perfume is a pleasant aroma, delicate, fresh, feminine and clean. I never tire of smell. In my country is not easy to find, so for a while I was behind him, until he finally found it and I have no regrets because I love it. Stand on my skin black currant and lotus, which I love, Omnia crystaline is a perfume that I love, it also has among its components. Insurance repeat purchase. The price-quality ratio was excellent. Highly recommended for warmer climates and summer.

I agree with the previous reviewers. This fragrance is like an ode to summer. Fresh but subtle, aquatic and has something that "grabs" your nose quickly. In my opinion, it has nothing to do with Light Blue. As Trvevil already said, it really shares some similarities with Eau de Rubylips (I would also add Shiseido Zen Summer), but while EdR is like hiding in the shade from the spring sun, Sea & Sun in Cadaques is more like walking along the seashore on a sunny and breezy summer day. To me the latter is purely about summer. This is summer in the bottle. Probably the gentle flowers give the aquatic feel to fragrance, and the juicy apricot (which is very noticeable here) reflects the sunny mood. I've never been to Cadaques, but looking at the photos I imagine, that there must be something that you can find in this bottle. Try it out if you like fresh aquatic scents, apricots, carefree summer and S.Dali;)

It's a fresh and mouthwatering scent, the kumquat and black currant make it seem almost edible without being sweet and just puts you in a good mood. It smooths out into a nice aquatic smell that lingers on your skin and clothes. It's very long lasting, my mother made it her signature fragrance and I could always feel it on her when she came home from work - and she never reapplied. Around 2017 there was a bad batch that was never recalled that smelled absolutely disgusting. FrancesAnne's comment reminded me of it, I'm quite sure she received one of those bottles because I also got one and it smelled exactly as she described. That was not the real perfume, but a bad batch.

Opens very green and dry, redolent of celery root. Shifts into spice, wood, and smoky notes. The heart gives way to the black currant and lotus, beautiful, then as it dries down it becomes clean, salty, dry, floral aquatic, musky heaven. Musk is perfect. The experience is pleasurable and elegant, but of too short a duration (lasts about an hour before I have to reapply). I found this shared certain profile notes with Hermes Un Jardin En Mediterranee, the spicy dry version of an aquatic, but boasted a more potent floral accord Jardin lacks. There was a slight kumquat note in Sea and Sun in Cadaques when I reapplied the scent, but no apricot yet.

My wife bought this blind, and we both loved it. It's got to be one of the best aquatics available for women and has this unique, salty and refreshing ambience that makes it quite stunning in our opinion. Has lovely top notes of ripe apricots too. No complaints about the projection and longevity. Perfect for summer, especially holidays by the sea. Fantastic looking bottle and carton. I hesitate to recommend it as a safe blind purchase, but I suspect those 'in the know' will probably snap it up as a gem without hesitation whenever they find it.

The opening is quite strange, kinda bitter, almost like a perfume gone bad. I smell mix of citrus (kumquat) and wood (cedar). That bitterness very soon fades away and you are left with a perfect salt&sand fragrance with a hint of flowers. I don't smell any apricot nor black currant. Sadly the longevity on me is 2hrs max, but it's such a perfect summer fragrance. EDIT: Was this reformulated? I bought new bottle and with this one I can only smell a lot of apricot and a bit of flowers. I miss that salty, cedary note.

I fell in love with the beautiful bottle, and after that with the beautiful fragrance. It is such a nice airy, watery freshness, it really has something from both the sea and the sun, for me it is the image of a beautiful sunrise somewhere near the sea, when the air is not too hot, and you can smell the delicate freesias in the garden and the kumquat tree. It is lovely, not very long lasting, but for this price reapplying many times a day is not a problem.

Sabe um passeio na praia no fim de tarde as ondas batendo nos seus pés descalços o sol batendo levemente no seu rosto aquele azul sem fim essa é a sensação de usar esse perfume. Ele tem cheiro de dia perfeito, férias de verão. Comprei para usar em uma viagem especial era meu noivado em Natal RN e esse perfume era o que eu usava todos os dias pela manhã é uma delícia ideal para as manhãs em qualquer lugar. Muito leve não projeta, mas fica grudado.

This one smells like cheaper version of Light Blue on me- it has cedar in it in very large amount (well, at least on me). Waterlily and lotus- a true aquatic fragrance, but why they put cedar in it almost all the time? Sea and Sun in Cadaques also has similarities with Eau de Rubylips. Well.. not my cup of tea. However it stays quite long and has very adorable bottle. I like the color and minimalistic design

This is both youthful and an older gen type of fragrance in my opinion. I fricking love this so much, it makes me want to enjoy the summer (heat) and just read a book and relax. It is such a comforting scent and unique. Also in a way, this reminds me of my childhood, very nostalgic, either someone I know wore this or there was a special kind of candy/drink that smelt like this. 9,5/10

I got this from the reviews I read and believed in. I'm awful happy I got it. I loved it but thought it was a bit weak. It's a very natural scent. I have found that I myself can't smell this but to everyone else I'm around, they smell it very well! It has great sillage and lasts forever! It's never too strong or a scent anyone wouldn't like, it's the scent of sunshine on clean hair.

I ordered this in July and have enjoyed wearing it in the hot weather. It starts out with a citrus blast and then morphs into a slightly flowery, very 'dry' oceanic fragrance. The salt and sand are right there. It is really unusual and lovely, reminds me of an isolated hot sandy beach near an orange grove. This is so different and that is one of the reasons I love it.

Such a gorgeous uplifting elixir!...This one is waking up with the salty ocean breeze on early hours in th morning...I don't write this to being poetrycal but try it yourself, you'll give me right. Soo fresh,clean and revitalising without being greeny.And yes, this one is a prototype for "aquatic floral" category...Highly recommended...

This is definitately one of my favorite summer fragrances!!! It's light smell which lasts all day long is very nice, some sweetness, fresh and unique. Really a "Sun & Sea" fragrance like you just came from the beach. I always get compliments while wearing it. I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE!! Unfortenately I hardly can buy it here!

Definitely a unique & distinct scent. I couldn`t really smell it myself after spraying it on my body multiple times, but people around could ^^ Great staying power while the fragrance isn`t strong itself. Wearing it on a hot summer day is truly refreshing . Highly recommended!!

I really love this as soon as it hits the drydown- very beachy and summery. BUT I don't like it on initial spray. Theres something synthetic about it and slightly medicinal- but that fades quickly- has moderate sillage and longevity and of course the bottle is a gem!

I love this scent....it really depicts summer!....fresh sea breezes, cocktails by the pool...I love the opening fruits, then the splash of aquatics hits you..finally the warmth of amber lingers......This one is a keeper...The bottle is soooo Dali...kiss kiss.... :o)

I looooooooooooooooooooooove this perfume. The scent is sooooo nice!!! I'm always getting very happy of it. It's not too light and a bit fresh n sweet. Great summer fragrance! Nice bottle too. Unfortunately I can't buy it anymore :(

Incredibly delicate and unique smell! After few minutes of apricot overload you'll get something not exactly fresh, not exactly fruity but young. It's one of best antiage parfumes :) There is one downside - longevity...
