F for Fascinating Night

Evening sun sets in the city, you’ve left your city apartment after a taking a nice shower, and slipping on a dress that hugs your body gently. The dress has soft frills that touch the tops of your calves, the same frills on the sleeve that whisper against the side of your arms as they hang off your shoulders. It’s a very light dusty pink colour and there’s vermillion coloured roses printed on the flowy chiffon material. Your lipstick matches the roses. Your hair is in loose waves. Theres a touch of warmth and humidity in the air - your golden skin shimmers. Final touches are some low strappy sandals, a vintage black patent leather handbag, and a wristwatch that matches. You reach for this perfume, the contemporary bottle, the tint of the juice resonates with the evening you are about to have. A third date, the freshness and romance of a new love, the spiciness you want to emulate. Gentle in presence - but magnetic and effortlessly commanding. The backdrop of a beautiful restaurant that overlooks the city beneath it. The sky is a darker sultry pink, orange feathering smoking out the edges and the golden light of the sun ever so slowly dimming. A kiss at the end of the night that will haunt his dreams. The knowing smile you will have as you say goodnight and turn away from him. This is that perfume. This is such a beautifully blended perfume. The citrus of the mandarin and very light spice of pink pepper marry into the light essence of pink rose. Touch of jasmine, musk, and the very delicate patchouli and amber mix round it out. Retains its integrity when sprayed on the skin, ~2 hours longevity. On clothes last longer and you may smell it clothes the next day too. It’s an airy, yet sultry floral - hard to come by these days. You could wear it in the day but something about it will allude to the fact that you have somewhere to be in the evening. I rarely find a fragrance that can adapt to all seasons. This is one that can, but I must say the heat brings something special out of it. You will never find something like this again.

I rediscovered the partial bottle I purchased and tried it again today and it went right to my little nest of “daily wear” perfumes. I really enjoy this! I went to see how much it’d be to grab another bottle and I’m really thankful I got a partial of a 3.4oz bottle on Mercari (with roughly 30ml left) for like... $7. I love my slightly spicy (shout out to one of my favorite notes: pink pepper), airy and rosy florals during this time of the year, and this one ticks pretty much every box. It does kinda feel like *something* is missing and could make this better... maybe Petalia? There’s not enough Petalia fragrances! Anyways, I’d give this a solid 7/10. It’s really great when I’m in the mood for some pink pepper florals with airy notes. It sucks I dug this out of my collection cause now I’m gonna burn through what I have and face the dilemma of whether or not I should— or more accurately, can afford— repurchase.

I tend to stick with light florals yet I yearned for something more complex and sophisticated - and this is it. It's light, yet warm. It's floral, yet slightly spicy. It's simply intoxicating. It's not so bold that you can't wear it in the day, but sprayed a little more heavily makes this a perfect rich evening scent. Staying power is very good. Sillage is pretty good but not overpowering. The mandarin orange gives a slight 'tangy', sparkling scent, with the pink pepper being the key to making the lovely florals nice and warm. Gorgeous fragrance, and not that well known so you won't smell it on everyone else at an event. Much more sophisticated than most other floral chypres. If you're like me and can't stand eye-watering 'big' classics such as No. 5, Shalimar, etc. yet you want to find a sophisticated evening fragrance then give this a try. It's perfect.

What a gem! F for Fascinating Night is no doubt, one of the most wonderful fragrances oscillating on the borderline between fruity and floral. It starts sweet and spicy-tangy thanks to mandarin and red pepper. The harmony of fruits, red pepper and floral notes reveals a beautiful heart. The dry down is not so much about patchouli as it is about amber and musk. It does not smell like powder, it does not smell generic. It smells fascinating :-) I would classify it as sensual. It is actually quite complex even though it consists of handful of notes. It has good lasting power and silage, therefore, doesn't require reapplication every 2 or 3 hours like some other fruity fragrances. The bottle design is lovely. The price is more than reasonable. Overall, it scores 9.5/10.

I am really in love with this fragrance!! In fact' this is a fascinating scent... I have the Eau de parfum and I have to say that the first impression when you spray on your skin is quite bad... too strong smell, but.... after some minutes a methamorphosis happens and a wonderful smell appears.. I'm not very good in describing the ingredients... to me is soft, delicate, sweet, creamy... you smell clean and sparkly... I think about la vie en rose when I smell it... Modern, elegant, discrete... all in the same one: just fascinating

Wow, I like this so much more than I actually thought I would. I was looking for something different, and liked the way it smelled on the tester strip, but it is so amazingly different and intriguing on my skin. It is a rich sweet peppery scent with touches of rose and mandarin. After a few minutes you will catch the mild patchouli and sweet amber blend, which somehow lends a creaminess to the overall effect of this delightfully different perfume. A hint of musk completes this gem. Give it a chance! It just might surprise you.

I discovered it because of sample from Sephora, and it became my signature evening perfume eversince. It's perfect composition of rose and jasmine with spicy undertones, but is not common by any means. And not at all popular. I would say pretty unique. Classy and elegant, sultry and feminine, but fresh at the same time. And has some nice edge to it. Very pleasurable for surroundings. Smells like excitement and anticipation... :)

Use this sparingly, because the sillage is pretty strong, however, its definitely sparking, sexy, spicy and floral goodness. I wear this in the evenings, mostly on dates because it says "sex kitten" to me for some reason. I love fragrances with pink pepper and this one is no exception. Try before you buy, but brace yourself for falling in love at first whiff.

This stuff smells great! Fruity and floral with a hint of patchouli and vanilla. I like this one much better than the other F. This would be a great perfume to wear on summer nights. Delicious!

probably I only sprayed 4..so it do not last...I thought good perfume can be long lasting with a little amount....anyway,, I am a big fan of Ferragamo scent

I'm gonna save money for buying this perfume again, Floral fragrance, very conservative. Fantastic.

Maybe its just me, maybe my 'nose' is not that sophisticated but it starts out smelling like Raid....For real! It finally hit me after spraying it 3 mins ago. RAID! and it has the same kind of hit you in the face qualities as Chanel no5 and Shalimar...definite scrubbers for me. BUT when it calms down (and thankfully so) It turns into something tolerable but somewhat generic to me. Like others have said...another fruity floral...WOW. WHY dont I listen? I could've saved myself $25.00 and gotten something else. I will concede that perhaps on the right person, this could be very beautiful but it does have that expensive shampoo thing going on like one other person said above. I was thinking fabric softener scent...something about it just sticks at the back of the nose towards the end of smelling it and has that same weird "heavy/blunt' quality for lack of a better term that fabric softener smells do. I'm going to let my fiance come home and give his verdict. He is pretty discerning about scents. He LOVES my Cartier de Lune, that turns him into a beast so we'll see...

The opening of Fascinating Night is a bit harsh, but as other reviewers have mentioned, if you give it a chance it is quite lovely. As it dries down, individually distinct and harsh notes blend into a creamy, peppery blend of orangey jasmine that isn't overly sweet. This isn't particularly what I would call a "night" fragrance (I'm an avid Coco wearer, if that tells you something), but it is nonetheless lovely. Silage is pretty good, going strong for at least 3 hours and counting. I'll need to come back when I've had the chance to wear more extensively to weigh in on longevity. Overall, F for Fascinating Night is a lovely scent, fruity and floral, yes, but not typical. Well worth the purchase.

I loved this when I first smelled and tried it. A very fresh scent. I am not able to tell the individual notes to be honest. Neither the jasmine nor the rose stand out with an individual identity, but it is clearly 'flower' and only mildly tempered by a low level spice. I made the mistake of spraying on too much one time and in the course of that day it gave me a bit of a headache. I found it too overwhelming. I don't think sillage is too good. Though it seems to last. I'm not able to decide whether this is an evening or day fragrance. It's too serious to be just for the day, and yet seems far too fresh for an evening. A very nice one - careful about using too much!

I have been looking for a scent like this my whole life. Something that is noticeable in a welcoming, friendly way. This one ALWAYS gets me compliments. I am quite happy with the sillage.People walk in the room and ask what am I wearing and I don't by any means overspray it. It is a very fresh, clean scent but it has that something extra that works so well with my chemistry. I think it's the pink pepper. That was my missing ingredient in the vast array of perfumes I've tried over the years. This is a lifelonger!! Great price point as well.Very Very Lovely Fragrance <3

A stronger version of the original. I think that if you like the original, you'll love this one :) The citruses got more sparkling because of the pink pepper, and it's sweetness is amplified by the touch of rose. I can smell some musk in the drydown. This is a young and sexy evening fragrance - fruity floral without being overly sweet and cloying. I like it a lot!

i would give this a 7 on a 10 scale. Has a nice smell but would better suit a 35-45 year old woman. That's why i gived it to my mother. The smell is just not special enough but rather subtile and short lasting
