Ferragamo Bright Leather

This was a blind buy for me after reading many reviews and watching YouTube videos ... then I took the plunge. This is an awesome, UNIQUE scent ... 9/10! The only surprise to me was that I purposely avoid vanilla in certain fragrance profiles ... unless it's a gourmand. This does not list vanilla in the fragrance, but to me it has a subtle sweetness/powdery scent that my nose detects as being similar to vanilla. I pick up citrus in the opening ... especially a little of the mandarin orange but almost immediately being blended with that subtle, powdery sweetness. So basically it starts off as a bright, invigorating opening that is also slightly sweet. Then after about 10 minutes it gets more powdery and a hint of the subtle leather note comes out. It's full dry down (at least on me) becomes a sort of a creamy, powdery scent with a subtle, SMOOTH leather note that is mixed with musk and something else ... perhaps it's the patchouli. The combination creates a really great, unique scent profile. For me ... this is more of an evening fragrance ... from everyday functions or even for a special date night. It certainly could be worn during the day but the powdery part when mixed with the "white" leather and slight sweetness says otherwise to me. Also, it is a very calming fragrance. Sometimes I give it a few sprays at night in my bedroom just to help create a nice, pleasant and relaxing environment. This will be the only fragrance like this in my collection of 78+ favorite fragrances as it is pretty unique. The only downside as many have mentioned is it lasts only around 4-5 hours and the projection is about 2-3 ft during it's maximum effectiveness. This is an extremely unique and stunning fragrance profile ... it definitely could be a 9+ in your collection. Enjoy!!!

Wow, this is phenomenal. I blind bought this when I saw it at Marshalls, didn't even look anything up about it, but Ferragamo has some amazing fragrances so I figured why not. I was not disappointed at all. Because of that mandarin citrus, the opening really reminds me of Chanel Allure Homme Sport EDT. After about an hour when the fragrances dries down that leather comes out more. But its not like a dark leather jacket smell, it really is like the seats of a sports car, that new leather seat smell. It is really strange at first but it grew on me quickly and it is an addictive scent. It is like smelling gasoline if that makes any sense. A new car smell is also an addictive smell, in my opinion. It also reminded me of a new golf bag or golfing gloves. That is really what ties this fragrance together well. I do smell the bergamot also, just a lot of citrus but what makes this fragrance stand out so much is that intense leather. This is going to be a banger for summer, I just wore it the other day and it is the Fall right now, so I will have to test how well it will do on a hot summer day, but it seems promising to me. I got at least 7 hours out of it, so good longevity. This is a complex and interesting scent, especially for the summer, the leather makes it a lot more masculine than other blue freshie frags. I think I will be reaching for this a lot during the spring and summer. It makes you smell refined and older. It could be pulled off by the younger crowd if you dress the part as well. I think it smells wealthy and confident, has a very snazzy fragrance, and is best paired with a golf polo and loafers. For the price, I think it is a really good value.

We all including myself, have a detency to compare fragrance or find something similar to be able to judge the fragrance. 1st off, I personally enjoy several of Ferragamo products including this one now. The price are still within a reasonable range for what you're getting. I enjoy all the Fahrenheit fragrance except the Aqua version. I barely used it, I gave it away. That's why I don't want to compare fragrance. I wouldn't have bought this fragrance. When I 1st spray this juice, the vib leather comes through with a soapy/herbal bit from the rosemary and a hint of basil. After a good 15min, it quickly settles, the herbal base isn't as sharp. The leather also isn't as prevalent. I start to notice a sweetness coming the musk making the leather aroma more softer. I don't know if it's my nose meter or my mind playing with my mind. I do pick up a slight petroleum. That must be from the combo of leather, herbs and musk all coming together. Longevity and Sillage is okay. I wish that Longevity could be at least 5yrs vs. 2hrs. Overall, at 1st I wasn't overly impressed. I thought it through understanding that this juice is not meant to make a bold statement when you wear it. After several tries, I felt that it worth giving it a try.....7/10 Try to keep an open mind, our bodies react to fragrance due to what we eat.

This fragrance takes leather into a fresh, airy category, rather than the usual dark, richness it tends to get associated with. It reminds me of Ferrari's Bright Neroli scent, but less sweet, and focuses more on musk and basil. It also somewhat reminds me of JPG Le Beau, with its citrus opening, and transition to a creamy sweet & woody drydown. It has that sunscreen vibe about it too. Bright Leather stands apart as the fresh and airy entry in this Ferragamo line. I'm getting moderate performance and sillage. It's easily wearable in a casual setting, and is pulling in a different direction than most contemporary scents. Ferragamo seems to be trying to build this line into versatile offerings to span the seasons, with leather as the common thread. I have worn this in moderate heat, and some above-room-temperature settings. Heat makes Bright Leather project slightly more, but nothing here is offensive or overwhelming. This is blind buy safe, but I would caution leather fans, actually. This isn't the same leather note you may be looking for, and love in other fragrances. I have no reservations recommending Bright Leather as a warm weather scent, for someone who wants to be a little different, but not make a statement about it.

This line can't fail, every single fragrance from the leather line has been a real pleasant surprise. This is a familiar profile, but done in a way that "brightens" it up that it could be worn in the warmer months. The leather in this is very light but prominent throughout the fragrance, but the star of the show is definitely the violet leaf. I own spicy, red, intense, and now bright and they are all different in their own way and showcasing leather differently. Bright is in the same family as Fahrenheit and Bentley black edition, but softer, slightly sweeter and more warmer weather focused. If you like those fragrances and want something you can wear in spring and summer (afternoons and nights) this is a good pick up. Looks like I'll be picking up sublime leather as well which is their newest release and I feel safe enough to buy it blindly because this line hasn't failed once. For the price point, the quality you are getting is insane. All under 50 bucks for 100 ml at discounters, it's a great deal. Definitely a love from me and a thumbs up to this brand which is superior to middle priced brands like Mercedes and Bentley that get a lot more attention.

A very clean, crisp inoffensive scent that sits close to you. Smells like an expensive suit and tie event, where you want to smell good, but don't want everyone in the room to know. 8.5/10 Very mature, masculine, and, clean. Starts with a nice, fresh opening of lemony citrus and grapefruit that stays for about half an hour+. Then the smell matures into the Ferragamo white leather accord, which can be described as the smell of a nice old bookstore. There is a very smooth, creamy leather mixed with cedarwood and rosemary. The musk adds a bit of warmth and depth. The scent, in its later stages, is slightly powdery, slightly floral but mostly creamy wood and light leather, and is completely inoffensive. Decent longevity, about 6-8hrs, though the sillage is personal-to-moderate. Has a good scent progression as it matures through time. This keeps it interesting enough, while still remaining clean and inoffensive. Is perfect for office wear, or formal events in general. Not a dark/seductive scent at all. Very blind buy safe as a formal fresh scent, probably not as a leathery scent.

To me this smells like a sour version of Fahrenheit edt but not in a negative sense - it's just fresh and light. Too bad I never had a chance to smell Fahrenheit Aqua as I understand Bright Leather is very close but just not as good. As it goes into the dry down, it starts doing its own thing rather than imitating Fahrenheit. Similar to one of the guys below, I'm not exactly sure if I love it or just like it but I am very happy with the purchase considering how cheap you can find this. Definitely will use it for a bit this spring and summer as I do love the original Fahrenheit. Performance indeed is weak, it needs quite a few sprays if you want to be noticed but again, this is very affordable so I'm not crying. The Leather line from Ferragamo is one of my favorite designer lines out right now, tied for first place with Pradas Luna Rossa series, and this is one of the best flankers of them all. Its very unique for a freshie. It’s green but not too green to where it becomes earthy, airy but dewy all the same. There’s noticeable citrus but it never verges into lemon pledge territory even a bit and perfectly blends in with everything else. The woods and leather anchor everything together and the way they work in tandem here is very intriguing. At times I get more woodiness, others I pick up the leather but it’s never like they’re fighting for their place, rather just politely handing the reigns back and forth. I love Antoine Maisondieu’s work and I think this is among his best. Wear it this spring and you will probably smell different than everybody else because this line flies way under the radar.

Nose Note #455 Another fantastic Ferragamo from its marvellous Ferragamo Collection. What a solid collection... Every fragrance is just a stunner. Everything that I like gathered in one place. I absolutely love Fahrenheit, and Fahrenheit Aqua is just my soft spot, but I have to say, it's just not quite there. Still, as a thing on its own - amazing, just amazing. When you see "white leather" read Fahrenheit violet infused leather, i.e. not your common leather like Tom Ford or any other realistic leather. Let's put it this way - if you like Fahrenheit, CH Men, My Land - you'll like this. 9/10, to Fahrenheit with love

If you’re expecting a heavy, dark leather, this perfume won’t do it for you. It’s called ‘Bright Leather’ for a reason. It’s a daytime leather, soft, inoffensive, wrapped in clean spices and herbs. Same goes for projection, this is a daytime/office fragrance, not a tacky perfume that you wear at a club. Longevity, at least in my experience, was around 6+ hours. The leather note is very subtle, keep that in mind. I find it very attractive, easy to wear. Casual yet refined. But, again, don’t expect a heavy, dark leather.

Spraying this on all my hand towels and accessories, this is an extremely CLEAN fragrance. Reminds me exactly of clean laundry and just cleanliness. I won't sit here and try to pretend I know what "White leather" smells like, but just picture the "clean note" from the Blue de Chanel line as the dominant note in Bright leather. Overall, a must-have in my collection just for the vibes bro Song to match Scent - Rather Lie - Playboi Carti ft. The Weeknd

Soapy fuzzy white leather... kind of like a brand new car interior. It smells amazing, projects very well initially, but the performance is sadly abysmal. It takes at least twice the number of sprays to achieve the same potency as an average EDT. Perhaps it’s also the atomiser which produces a very fine mist. I find myself going though my 100 ml bottle twice as fast as other fragrances. 100 ml of this would be 50 ml of most other fragrances.

This is the most underrated scent I’ve tried in a long time. It smells comfortable like soft skin yet still bright thanks to the citrus trio. The white leather and musk combination is amazing, and the cedar in the dry down is beautiful too. I’m in love with this scent, it’s easily signature scent worthy and perfect for any occasion and any season. Not to mention, it’s so cheap on discounters.

i am not gonna go note by note. This smells like a virgin mojito sprayed in you in the opening. and in the drydown, it smells like a new magazine that has glossy pages. all in a good way. leather is very subtle and can be pulled off unisex. performance is moderate. not a beast mode but you keep on getting whiffs. clean spring/summer/fall scent wearblable in day or night.

Wasn’t a big fan at first, but it grew on me. Opens up fruity as others have mentioned... to my wife and daughter it smelled like cucumbers (fresh and clean). This fragrance really settles in with a delightful, male centric leather smell and a touch of powdery. I have to say it smells great from beginning to end and lasts all day.

An excellent, high quality fragrance. To my nose this IS vintage Fahrenheit...including the infamous gasoline note. I have not tried Aqua Fahrenheit so I cannot comment there. A single spray 3 hours ago and it's still going strong. No complaints regarding sillage or longevity.

For the first 2 mins fahrenhit edt/aqua then a different soft creamy basil rosemary musky covered by mandarin and little cedar freshness...omg,and all of these on top of leather...really nice.for first impression 8/10

I was looking for a present for my friend and from all I tried Ferragamo Bright Leather was a clear winner, it is so nice, soft and pleasant!

I get a cucumber smell in the opening but dries down to a sweet very light leather sent, it's a nice fresh sweet clean frag.

Very good scent, but longevity and projection are very weak, needs at least 10-15 sprays to get 4-5 hrs.

If you like vintage Fahrenheit you will love this !

This opens with a strong, invigorating burst of citrus, dominated by crisp notes of lemon and bergamot. This fresh, green, and vibrant opening is both uplifting and very pleasant. The initial top notes, however, are quite fleeting. Within a few minutes, they dissipate, giving way to the primary accord of the fragrance: a clean and finely-worn leather. This is lovely. Overall it is perfectly named, having that "Fahrenheit Junior" DNA combined a with bright, refreshing tone. The opening herbal/citrus has the character of freshly chopped celery; wet, juicy and somewhat savory. Again, "white leather" is a good description for the leather part of this fragrance - it's light and ozonic rather than robust or animalic. The base is a fresh musk, with a nonspecific woody feel, mixed with the remnants of white leather. I will take this on holiday with me, and then use it as a clean, well-mannered office fragrance. I'd put it in the category of "interesting freshies"! It's pretty much a what I wanted l'Homage a l'Homme to be, like a wearable version of that. Now the performance: It seems impossible to overspray this as it's very quiet, so since it was cheap I will be just give it like 15 sprays and move on with my life!! - Having worn this for a couple of days, the other one it reminds me of is Maurice Roucel's forgotten gem, Dunhill Fresh. - Second update - I am 1/3 of the way through my 30ml bottle after a couple of weeks, since this just doesn't seem to stick around at all. Unless I'm going anosmic to it, it seems like after an hour or two you're just left with a very faint "clean", vaguely ozonic smell, which then also disappears quite quickly.

For right now this is in between a like and a love for me ... Bright Leather opens up with bright,aromatic and a little watery smelling! The opening of this really took me by surprise as it smelled very pleasant and even upscale a bit ! Think a more pleasant,modern and watery take on Fahrenheit. As this dries down it gets away from the citrus and becomes more green and powdery ! As good as the opening is I prefer this when it dries down as it has a very nice powdery tone to it. This scent is also very comforting to me and even though it's cold out I really enjoy wearing this indoors and at night time. I'm certain though this will do even better in the heat ! Performance on me for a fresher/cheaper scent is actually pretty damn good. It lasts me 6-8 hours with 30 minutes of average projection and after that it becomes a very noticeable skin scent for the duration of the fragrance. This isn't a projection or sillage monster by any means but with this pleasant scent profile I actually prefer that it isn't a loud fragrance. Because it's inoffensive and not loud this scent is perfect for things like church,work,weddings or any event where you want to smell good but not loud ! Overall rating -8 out of 10 ! Beautiful and unique smell that's perfect for casual use or a signature scent.

Ferragamo Bright Leather is a slightly citrus, aromatic and leathery fragrance. The opening is similar to Ferragamo Intense Leather with the citrus of mandarin and some fresh spices and green notes such as violet leaves. As the minutes pass, a leather accord is perceived, which smells more like suede and also musk, which combined with the aroma of violet leaves is somehow reminiscent of a version of Fahrenheit Aqua, but with the difference that the Citrus of the Dior fragrance are better made. This version of Ferragamo is a fragrance for intermediate seasons since it is a little fresh, but also leathery, which makes it suitable for an office work environment where you do not want to overwhelm the people around it. It also provides a certain elegance and formality, the problem is that projects very little. Its longevity with me was 5 to 6 hours. maximum with a sillage very close to the skin, although suddenly I got a burst of its smell. I recommend it for anyone who has used and liked Fahrenheit Aqua, but try it first.

I am very surprised Burberry Touch hasn't been mentioned more when discussing this fragrance. Its definately much more alike than many of the other remind me's mentioned. As for the fragrance itself. I like it alot. Its got that vintage early 2000's feel to it hence the Touch association & I am here for it!. The opening is superb!. Fresh, spicy and a little green. Its very nice. Really pleasing indeed. After the first 30 minutes or so this is when Bright leather starts to remind me of Burberry Touch as the smooth cosy musk/suede starts to become more apparent mixing with those fresh spices. The fragrance doesn't change much after this point, just becomes softer and warmer. Longevity is fine. I get 7 hours or so out of it. Projection is good for the first 2 hours then it settles at an arms length for another 2-3 hours. All in all, this is a superb spicy, fresh , sensual and very versatile office/work/casual option for when you want a change from the usual blue/soapy daily drivers. Worth a sniff. Glad I own.

The opening of the fragrance is very vegetal and aromatic. My nose detects suggestions of fresh carrot, tomato leaf, basil, and Rosemary. In the heart, my nose detects an unlisted banana tree accord. It is presented in the most green and natural way (it definitely doesn't smell like Runts Candy) but the note is unmistakable. Perhaps this could be due to an unlisted violet leaf note. I've noticed many reviewers compare this perfume to Farenheit, which features violet leaf quite prominently. As the fragrance develops, a soft, dewy pink petal aroma in the direction of peony or rose joins the banana tree, softening the perfume and making it more unisex. In the base, we are greeted with a muted soft suede and white musk. Although the name of this perfume is "Bright Leather", I would not consider this a leather fragrance at all. Instead, I would classify this as an aromatic fruity floral. The overall effect is quite natural, pleasant, and office friendly--- without smelling generic or familiar.

Very fruity opening, delicious refreshing and citrusy. Then it starts smelling a bit like bubblegum, I thought it had violet and I've never tried farenheit to draw the comparison, but it smells a bit like a sweet floral, fresh; nothing heady. In fact I've found it a bit fleeting, I expected the leathery background to give it good performance but it projects for like 1hr and then is very close to skin, only complaint is I wish it performed better 🥲. The leather note is delicious, like a musky suede, very clean. It's overall a really beautiful scent but the performance it's a bit lacking for the hot weather I live in. I think it would make a great gift and might get one for personal enjoyment, I love rain like scents and there is something on this one that reminds me of petrichor at times, lovely for hot n humid nights. it's very nice the quality is really there, it smells super clean to my nose, nothing synthetic about this one, if performance was better it would be a 10/10 👻

Opens with very nice and lovely lemonade cirtus and grapefruit. Not loud but rather soft and clean. At first though very suitable for certain settings, school, hospitals, meetings because it seems to sit close to skin with a small silage. Suits anyone young or mature. Pleasant and soft. This is a fresh smooth creamy scent, Airy too. The white leather seems to be the creamy accord I'm getting and not the usual leather notes if you are looking for a heavier leather frag. This is a soft white creamy leather. Very inoffensive. Slightly sweet. Seems the name is pretty adapt for it, Bright leather, nothing intense.

Never been a fan of leather scents. They are always either too woody , amber and musky or they smell like a leather couch. So I was very surprised with this one . It really does smell like it's name . At first you get a lemon , slight soapy white leather scent . Once it settles in you get that white musk, patchouli with a very soft clean leather scent through out. It's very easy on the nose and it is definitely not an aggressive scent at all. Also huge plus with the spray nozzle . Very high quality . The way it mists is very nice. Scent - 9.0 Complexity - 8.0 Quality - 8.0 Performance - 6.5 Bottle -10.0

more interesting and deep scent then Ferragamo EDT. very fresh bright citrus opening, immediately you gonna feel it. But then after minutes becomes a very green scent . longevity don't know will check . But yeah again casual, everyday, definitely warmer days fragrance. very fresh clean scent. I will say you can blind buy it easily, if you like green scents cause dry down green notes are absolute dominant. Great price for this fresh scent. Again maybe gym type more, but casual everyday also suits. Check longevity though if it will holds 6 hours then worth it for its price

It is a beautiful masculine scent. It opens up citrusy and beautiful but later dries down to that leathery, woody smell. I also can pick up the basil and rosemary in the base notes for some reason. Regardless, there is a downside, and that is the fact that the smell will become very imperceptible in 30 minutes and completely gone in 2-3 hours. In the meantime it won't project at all. It's one of those that you have to reapply a couple of times, and for the price, I don't think it is worth it. As great as it smells, I personally would not buy it again.

What a pleasant surprise. A surprisingly unique and high quality fragrance given the price. It opens very green, with a strong basil note, mixed with fresh citrus. As it wears on, you begin to sense the soft, almost sweet, leather that is at its core. Many people here reference car seats, but to me it smells more like a soft, lambskin handbag with some forgotten candy in it. In any case, this is a gem, perfect for spring-summer and would make an amazing gift, given the nice packaging, which makes it feel like a much more expensive fragrance.

Aqua Fahrenheit smells like this? If so it's a big surprise to me because i totally hate the original Fahrenheit but actually like this one. Bright Leather it's a fresh, gentle and unique take on leather, never smelled something like this, really good and inoffensive as other said. Blind buy worthy even for younger people, you will smell totally different from other guys during summer and spring. 8/10

Peppery and discrete leather fragrance. It decays into a soft aromatic and bright scent. After 15 min or so I'm having an hard time smelling leather. I'm reviewing as a female but this is nice. Not offensive and not juvenile. Would fit very well any man. Office, casual, dressed up or not. I think this is not an expensive fragrance but it smells refined.

Bought this fragrance as a gift for my partner. (We have the gift set). Its great for summer. I can smell the citrus with leather, some herbs and musk. He also wears it in the office since this is a clean scent. This is definitely expensive smelling fragrance for its price. The bottle and presentation is also spot on.

I'm a fan of their Spicy Leather flanker so I was excited to give this a go when provided a sample. Lots of refreshing bergamot, orange, and a little bit of grapefruit up top that flips to a cool floral powdery shoe leather with rosemary and some basil. The base is very musky, with background patchouli and cedar.

Tomato leaf with a hint of citrus zest, almost as if you're walking through a garden. Later on, the vegetal brightness fades into a musky warmth. The “leather” in the name stays mostly in hiding. If it’s there, it’s suede-soft and barely noticeable. A skin scent through and through.

This is like a lighter and sweeter Dior Fahrenheit best for warmer weather. It's not a projection beast and isn't the most long lasting, but it's one you need to overspray on clothing to get some longevity. I will definitely be wearing this more in the spring and summer months.

Descent Fragrance for Summer amd Spring. It smells fresh, woody, leather and herbal. The longevity is average (2-3hours) but the projection and silage are not so good. It smells good but you wont let anyone understand that you are wearing it. Overall: 7/10

I like it. Don't get much leather. Opening or the first few minutes or so is Fahrenheit style. Not 1-1. I get fresh, clean and spicy scent (basil and rosemary). Also a bit green in that sense. Great for casual wear and office scent for warmer days.

Just bought it today, very nice fresh perfect for spring and summer definitely a good take on a leather fragrance. Can't stop smelling my arm. Ferragamo did a good job with this one. Compliments to the perfumer. Safe for blind buy.

This is more herbal than white or smooth leathery fragrance, due to prominent rosemary and basil notes. Thanks god after a hour drydown that shy white leather comes out. 7.5 out of 10 just needs amber and more daring leather. 👌

This was recommended by TLTG Perfume Reviews. I'm glad that I really love it. The leather note in here is light and subtle that blends well with the other notes. Easy to wear.

Crisp, bitter and fresh. I would say it smells citrusy from a distance but leathery/woody up close. To me it's a perfect balance, love this one.

It's mostly green, herbal and slightly soapy. Some leather in the background but not much for me. Decent projection. Not bad actually.

Clean, fresh, citrusy, musky and versatile fragrance. More like an office scent. Very reasonable price and kinda underrated.

I notice lemon, soft leather, and cedar. It reminds me of Grey Flannel. It’s very nice!
