Vaquita Dolphin

A fresh aquatic scent with a nice balance between the sea salt, pear, and cedarwood base. I go through perfumes slowly and my bottle has gone a little off since I bought it four or five years ago. I'll likely repurchase this scent once I get through sampling some other new ones. One of my favorite qualities of this perfume is that it's fresh and aquatic without smelling masculine to me, which isn't easy because I can be very picky when it comes to aquatics.

You know the meme picture of the dolphins leaping out of the water and there's rainbows and sparkles everywhere as if the artist were trying to capture summery, sunny ocean bliss? That's what this pefume embodies. Fun, sweet and refreshing, it's my go-to for wear after stepping out of the shower before expecting company over or going out with friends. I always feel great wearing it, and I hope it stays in production for many years to come!

Ive been craving fresh aquatic lately and this really nails it and satisfies my cravings. Absolutely gorgeous. Its 100 degrees here in NJ and this keeps me cool and refreshed. 😎 perfect for spraying after you have a great session at the gym and get a hot shower. This is that final touch that makes you feel on top of the world.

Love from the second spray. When I used it for the first time, I liked it, but I wasn't very impressed. But somehow, it turned into a great love :). Now, it's one of my most-used perfumes for everyday wear. The scent is simple and pleasant. Just a little bit sweet, but not overwhelming at all.

Such a refreshing fragrance for summer. It combines aquatic, floral, and fruity to create the perfect hot weather fragrance. The sea salt and water lily notes are quite predominant on initial spray, but after dry down, the fruity notes come shine. This is going to be my go-to this summer!

This is my favorite perfume. Super summery and fresh. I love the salty vibe and the dry down is so pleasant. It lasts a long time even in the summer heat. My partner says it is very unisex. (I have no sense of scents being gendered so I trust them on this)

Opening is very light, airy, watery, ethereal. A bit salty. But also fruity and effervescent. And a touch petally like gardenia. As it progresses, it gets saltier. And fluffier/muskier. Not as ethereal.

Yum! Fresh and tart. The salt note gives this otherwise mellow perfume a tart bite, but none of it is overwhelming. This is a graceful and truly unisex aquatic, which is actually quite rare.

Light, fresh salty aquatic with just a hint of fruit. A perfect, effortless summer scent just on the feminine side of unisex. Not soapy, not too sweet. Very affordable too!

Really solid aquatic, I'm actually considering making it my first one. While I've never met an aquatic that I didn't like, I've also never really found one I loved, as they all smell kind of the same to me. I've seen a few reviewers naming other perfumes they smell like, and I think it's fair to say this isn't a unique fragrance. Sanctuary is a social enterprise, so it makes sense they'd want their fragrances to have mass appeal, if they want to raise as much money as possible for the organizations they support. I think what really makes this work is how balanced it is. As others have said, it's not TOO sweet, fruity, salty, or floral. All the notes are there, but none of them overwhelm the others. What's drawing me to this one is the salt note. I love salt notes, but I find most perfumers are too heavy handed with them and they end up smelling rubbery or worse. The one here is really well done and really started coming out for me the 2nd or 3rd time I tried it. Like another reviewer said, not love at first sniff, but it really grows on you.

Seconding other reviewers who have said this is nicely balanced. Honestly, when I first tried it, I didn't like it, and put it in a drawer for a few months intending to give it away. Then I promptly forgot about it until I found it the other day and decided to give it another try. I don't know if it mellowed with maceration or if I'm just more open-minded now, but this is a nice floral with balanced fruity and aquatic notes. The floral aspect really reminds me of frangipani more than water lily (with the caveat that I live in Minnesota and it's been a LONG time since I smelled frangipani), and with the aquatic notes in the background, it very much has tropical vacation vibes. That said, this is quite a bit more floral than I usually go for, so I'm wondering if layering it with a drier note might yield interesting results.I have North Atlantic Right Whale from this brand, too, and I'm curious about how they would layer together.

A very earthy watermelon? On the wrong person this might smell old fashioned but there’s a subtlety in the sweetness of it that gives it an almost otherworldly feel. Like it would belong not to something aged, but to something that never ages. A fairy or mermaid that longs and yearns in a forest rain. The waterlily is really what shines here though I wish the middle notes were brighter. Nonetheless this is a pleasant scent that also goes towards a good cause. Very natural but magical! When worn during a cold night, I think this could bring a great contrast that emphasizes that mystical element of the perfume. edit: stale green guava candy? not in a bad way, interesting...

This smells exactly like M.A.C.'s Turquatic, but this is stronger and lasts longer. I will recommend it to anyone who feels that Turquatic feels too light. It's 105USD as of 2026, and some of the money goes to a charity(ies) that help the Vaquita. I notice that it lasts longer on my clothes. It's a good value to what it offers. No, I do not work for the company that makes this. I just believe in the product.

Flirty and fun aquatic! Very wearable and pleasant,. Youthful without being overly fruity. Not your traditional photorealistic lake/ocean/swamp aquatic either -even those who do not traditionally enjoy aquatics may love this. Low-moderate sillage, med longevity. +1 for the brand mission of this brand 💕

I think this one is a winner. Fresh, clean, and subtly floral with a lovely aquatic touch. It's effortlessly elegant and perfect for everyday wear. Lasts a decent amount of time with a nice, gentle presence. If you love light, airy scents with a touch of white flowers, you need to try this.

This is a very easy reach before bed. I love using it after the shower. Feels fresh. It's aquatic with a light floral background that isn't distracting, but it's not too salty either. I have a travel size but I'd love to get a full bottle.

Not as fruity, much more unisex than I prefer for myself. But it’s a nice scent and would be inoffensive at the office. If you like Light Blue, you’d like this. They’re different but the same.

aquatic and sweet, kinda reminds me of cranberry juice. clean sea salt and tart berries. shampoo-y. nothing special, but pleasant! i like it for summer.
