Jasmine & Cedarwood

im not gonna lie i got this as a mini set in the clearance section of tj maxx as a complete blind buy. whenever i see jasmine on a bottle i jump, what can i say i have a brand to maintain lol. i'm not too experienced on woody scents, but this fragrance doesn't feel overwhelmingly spicy or woody or masculine for that matter. and don't tell anyone but this is an almost perfect dupe for baccarat rouge. it has almost all the same notes, and although i'm not huge on musky scents it marries so well with the jasmine floral. the fact that this is an oil-based perfume as well is so perfect, it lasts for a very long time on my wrists and neck. the set came with a vanilla musk roller ball as well, which is great to pair if you want a sweeter floral scent that doesn't feel extremely girly. it was $6. sue me. but you can find all their sets on the sand and fog website for less than 30? hello?? i give this an 11/10. a very refined and elegant take on jasmine that is similar yet stands on its own next to MFK BR. this is an elevated jasmine scent that doesn't scream white floral or musk or wood it actually doesn't scream for that matter despite it being a long-lasting oil-based roller perfume. she is a soft-spoken, elegant, well-dressed, kind woman who knows what she likes and what she wants. what a beautiful and nice surprise. never underestimate the power of tj maxx!!! im definitely down to explore sand and fog fragrances more, the quality is surprising for a low price range perfume.

(Review of 50ml Bottle) This was a gift from my girlfriend when I'd first asked to try some fragrances and was feeling out my tastes, and I'd actually suggest this scent as an easy gift for that exact same reasoning. Anyone can wear this comfortably, and it's a great layering scent as well. It's an incredibly easygoing woody/floral scent with some fresh lemon zest at the front end, and the amber/musk notes develop very nicely as it sits on the skin. Lasts a decent while as well, 5-6 hours or so for me, and I found myself wearing it year-round. It's insanely versatile and definitely worth the money if you find it, especially considering the super cheap price point and accessibility factor (you can get these at retail stores like Marshalls and TJMaxx for $15, or in sets of 3 with other S+F oils). Side note: Please be wary that sometimes, these may smell rancid in person given that people like to open these in stores and use them. Always give them a whiff just to be safe!

This is a hidden gem if you're a BR540 fan. This is hands-down the most accurate and best smelling 540 dupe out there - I own the real thing and several copiers and I think I enjoy this oil the most. There's seriously no point in purchasing 540 if you can find this. I found mine at Marshall's for $14.99 and considered buying up all they had. It's just so good. Since it's an oil, it doesn't project for miles, but it lasts forever and I can personally smell it on myself for hours and that's all I really want. Plus it's great to layer under other fragrances as well. Completely slept on - please get this!!

leaves lots of traces on clothes, but not so much on skin. the amber is lost beneath the lemon. about ten minutes after application, the saffron sticks wonderfully, making way for the pine and cedar notes. don't be fooled if it smells too chemical-like or metallic at first. unfortunately, about two hours, it loses its strength and dries to a skin-like smell, only cedar and pine left if you literally stick your nose against the application site. it clings onto clothes far better than skin. but I'm a fool for this perfume, so I wear it anyway.

I have multiple BR 540 dupes as it's one of my favorite fragrance profiles, but this oil is by far the closest to the real thing... For reference, it smells almost identical to ALT Fragrance's BR 540 dupe (Crystal), but without the odd and lingering bitterness. I applied the oil to my wrists last night, and I could still smell it after helping my little one get a shower! The projection isn't crazy (which is fine for me), but it certainly creates a lasting fragrance bubble. I'm looking forward to trying other fragrance oils from this brand.

This is what baccarat 540 smells like? Wow. Anyway, I like this but now I feel it’s too much jasmine for me to wear daily. If you like feminine, sweet scents (that don’t smell like food), you’ll love this. Unfortunately, it doesn’t project at all. Layer with Michael Malul citizen Jill Sunkissed. They’re identical. Got it at Marshall’s so worth the price. Would not spend anything more than 15-30 dollars. Sand + Fog body oils really don’t perform very well but they always smell great

This is soooooo good! It's a grown woman scent, very elegant and smells much more expensive and higher quality than the price I paid for it would indicate ($16.99 from TJ Maxx). It does have BR540 vibes, but I like this version better..it’s lighter, airier and addictive. If you like clean/woody fragrances, I would highly recommend this!

This is a definite baccarat dupe smells just like cloud to my nose, dunno how long it lasts but considering it’s a body oil it’s likely to not have much of a trail will have to wear it to test that out. Glad I was able to pick it up for such a good price at Marshall’s! Cloud is my layering scent so having this will be even better IMO

This is an easy 10/10 for me. I think I might even like the smell of this even more than my other two favorite br540 dupes. It smells even closer to the original. I bought 2 bottles immediately and am already fantasizing about going back for more. If you like br540, get on this one.

i love this on my skin more than BR540. i bought this originally not knowing it was a dupe oil, but because the scent was clean on yuka and smelled amazing. it lasts long but has a relatively small scent bubble, but i love that. i wanna try all of sand+fog oils now!

To me this smells a lot like Byredo's Mixed Emotions. For the price, this is such a great find, and I am so excited i found it at TJ Maxx.

I bought the body oil of this scent from TJ Maxx. It is a BR540 dupe along the lines of Red Temptation from Zara. Lighter than BR540, more linear, no mystique. It's another sweet, burnt-sugar-forward scent with that BR540 feel. I notice the sweetness in this feels derived from fruit, whereas BR540 doesn't give me fruity sweet in this way. I really like this, nobody has complimented me on the body oil, but when I force members of my family to sniff me they all agree I smell great 😃

Of all of the BR540 dupes, I still prefer In the Stars from B&BW 😂 Go ahead and call the perfume cops. However, this is actually pretty nice if you do happen to enjoy this profile. It's sweet, and captures the airy, elusive, sparkly amber quality of BR540, but it isn't as rich or luxe. It does carry well in the air though. The bottle itself is actually remarkable for this price. It's substantial, and pretty. I recommend it if you're searching for a BR540 clone :)

To my nose, it doesnt not smell like br540 at all but it's a great thing! No penny scent :) I smell a sweet and clean but musky skin scent. Really signature perfume worthyif it lasted longer and projected further. Great for layering with cleaner smelling perfumes

If you like BR540 or Cloud, you'll probably like this! This is exactly what I wanted Cloud to be for me, but Cloud smells like burning rubber on my skin. This is much softer in my opinion. I put this on almost 24 hours ago and I can still smell it on my wrists!

This one smells quite similar to Cloud, but rounder (probably the format) and sharper (definitely the lemon, pine, and cedarwood). I prefer Cloud but am running low, so this will help me stretch it out.

To me it smells like a a sophisticated middle age woman and I love it, however, it is not as a safe blind buy as I like to believe.

My sniffer might be broken because this smells like a nice gentle candy to me. Girly.

The one takes over and makes it more masculine to my nose.

This is definitely trying to dupe BR540, but to my nose and on my skin they seriously failed. This one is quite cloying and has 100% of the rubbery facets that some complain about the original, it also misses the depth and airy richness. I tried mixing the oil with unscripted body lotion to help my issues with the scent, but I still found it hard to stomach. There are much better dupes in my opinion, Orientica Rouge Amber being the best I have ever smelled.
