Honebu

I mainly get a pronounced coniferous note, with some of the sweet hay-like smells of chamomile and vetiver. Underneath, there is a sweeter, medicinal edge. I suppose this is mostly from the labdanum, although I've never smelled the resin directly. The juniper also provides some of that bitterness. It's slightly challenging at first, and up close, it can be a little sharp. At first, I thought I would prefer this in colder weather, but when winter got here, I realized that it's better in the transition seasons. It might even have enough freshness for slightly hotter days.

It's a shame about the very prominent juniper, which breaks through the whole aroma and hides the chamomile. If it weren't for that, it would be a very interesting oriental woody fresh scent. This is a fragrance for lovers of conifers and herbs. If you like aromatic scents of this type, this will be the scent for you.

To me this is a slightly herbal but mainly sweet citrus, not overly sweet, just a whisper of chamomile, so for me this is a lovely summer scent. Eucalyptus is also just a whisper but it works really well. It is woody, green, but also refreshing, citrussy and just sweet enough.
