Bound For Women

I first smelled this perfume about a week ago, when someone in a pharmacy accidentally sprayed it in my face.That whole day I kept smelling it and really, really liking what I was smelling. If you need an extremely affordable passionfruit and floral scent, with a slight touch of musk and cedar this might be for you!! The sillage seems pretty intimate to moderate, but longevity on me was about 6-7 hours give or take. I would say it's perfect for spring and summer, but knowing myself once I buy it I will probably wear it in the winter and fall as well. When my mother smelled it she said "it smells familiar" and I agreed - but we couldn't quite put on finger on the familiarity. All in all, this is a nice but not incredibly strong perfume for the lovers of fruity and sweet-but-not-too-sweet.

I think I love it! It was a blind buy only for the notes, without trying other similar perfumes. It's not sour, not screechy, not bitter (I was afraid of that because of passion fruit), not overly sweet and not cloying. It's tropical, a little bit fresh and creamy, a bit lactonic, It's very well blended and I am not a fan of fruity scents. I adore the bottle and even if initially it seems not so appropriate, the scent really make me feel something luminous, even white, classy and refined. Then I realized that even the name it's not so badly choosed. It's not at all a cheap or juvenile smell; it makes me feel uplifted, a little bit sensual and cozy. The sillage is moderate and performance 4-6 hours on my skin.

I had high expectations on this one based on the reviews, but sadly it didn't last more than 2 hours on my clothes and skin, and doesn't project much, it's very very weak on me. Also, I think it smells more sweet and floral than fruity. It smells really good, it just doesn't last how I expected.

This has no reviews, so I'll write one. I like trying fragrances/brands that get little attention and, well, I think this is really nice! It's familiar, so maybe I'm being reminded of Flor Del Sol, which I used to have but sold because of the booziness. I think it's heavily reminding me of something else as well, but I can't figure out what yet. (I have not tried Fiesta Carioca, which it may be inspired by? Same notes.) So, not unique, but there's nothing I dislike about this one. Except that the bottle and name are misleading. The scent doesn't match the rose gold and "leather" accented bottle design at all. Maybe I'm too on-the-nose, but I'd expect something more dramatic or powdery to live in this bottle. I wanted an inexpensive passion fruit scent with no heavy base notes, or other prominent notes that can take over, so I blind bought this. I think it fits the bill. It may not smell literally of passion fruit, but it gives me the feeling I was looking for. It's tart, fruity, light and refreshing. Not too sweet to me (but I like sweet). It's a more adult, subtle fruity. Performance seems about average, maybe a little weak. It doesn't last very long, but it does get a tiny bit of warmth after a while from the musk/benzoin, which is nice. It's summery, but I'll wear it whenever.

Just got this after wanting a passion fruit scent and hearing some good things by a YouTube reviewer. I have to say, it isn’t at all what I was hoping for. I’m not sure I’ll enjoy it more when it matures, but time will tell. First, I don’t really enjoy a raspberry note, I find it tends to make a fragrance smell a bit inexpensive in my opinion. It comes across as a bit too youthful for my tastes. In Bound, it comes across to my nose way more dominant than the passion fruit I was hoping for. Second, I’m not really into sweet scents and this is pretty sweet. I would love to get the warmer base notes, but the fragrance disappeared on my skin before it could even get there. That may (hopefully) change as it ages. So, for now, and thirdly, the longevity was abysmal. It may change, as many of these middle eastern scents do, and I’ll add an update if I see any changes in about a month or so! For now, I’m pretty underwhelmed with this.

It has very strong plastic scent that I can’t stand. (I’m not talking about synthetic smelling perfume, there’s just something plastic and very unpleasant in the ingredients they used).

Sighh... I really wanted to love this, being the fruit-notes freak that I am. Sadly, on me this smells like all Fructise hair products (with the exception of hair color, of course.) It releases a hair spray fume so intense I had to wash off. Back to the quest of the perfect passion fruit perfume for my chemistry. 😟

This was another blind buy, and I don't regret it at all. At first spray it's strong but then you can smell the juicy fruits and the flowers are light and suttle a perfect scent. I will repurchase for sure.
