Pastel Rumours

I sampled "Peach's Revenge | Sarah Baker Perfumes" a while back and really loved it, but after reading reviews I decided to sample "Pastel Rumours | Sarah Baker Perfumes" and "Rococo Pie | Sarah Baker Perfumes", along with "Peach Macaron | Theodoros Kalotinis". The idea was to only purchase the one I loved the most. "Rococo Pie | Sarah Baker Perfumes" was the only I really disliked "Pastel Rumours | Sarah Baker Perfumes" is a gorgeous, creamy, candy, peach/vanilla yogurt fragrance. Im really glad I can’t smell the cardamom in this. It does smell quite similar to "Peach's Revenge | Sarah Baker Perfumes", although I think this is the more versatile, safe, mass appealing, easier to wear option. I love it! This is the one I’d probably get the most wear out of. "Peach's Revenge | Sarah Baker Perfumes" is memorable and made a lasting impression on me. It’s a gorgeous, more unique and complex candied Peach, Guava, vanilla and cinnamon/amaretto scent. I do sometimes get a bit of a mustiness in the dry down, which I guess is the peach/cinnamon combo, but due to this I do have to be in the mood to wear it. I was really captivated by the Guava note though, which is 10/10 to die for! It gives the scent that little something special and made it a real struggle to decide which one I liked more. I love Peach's Revenge for its uniqueness, and it lasts the longest, but I honestly couldn’t decide. "Peach Macaron | Theodoros Kalotinis" is ok, but my least favourite. It’s similar to "Pastel Rumours | Sarah Baker Perfumes", but I feel Pastel Rumours is higher quality. I didn’t find Peach Macaroon particularly unique and actually thought it was a bit harsh and screechy. The longevity on me is also poor, so this was a definite no. Conclusion - Both "Pastel Rumours | Sarah Baker Perfumes" and "Peach's Revenge | Sarah Baker Perfumes" are stunning scents and absolute loves! They are both high quality, project and are long lasting. If you have one, you really don’t need the other. I just couldn’t choose a favourite between them and had to have them both. I’ve even been layering them. Out of my full collection these are my current favourite scents!

You smell like someone who gives fantastic hugs and wears the softest Comfort Colors shirts. You might play ukulele or lead a small youth group at church and you're the camp counselor everyone hopes they get. You're the new girl next door in a 2000s flick. It's definitely pre-COVID and everyone wants to be your friend. I want Pastel Rumors to get the love it deserves. For the record, I haven't smelled the other Sarah Baker peach fragrances. When it opens, it's super peachy and super custardy. I totally get the cereal vibes, but it's not in a wheaty sort of way. More like just the peach colored fruit loops lol. I could see it being too sweet and lactonic for some folks but for me, the nostalgic, childhood joy it brings is just so addictive. Some reviews say it's more of a synthetic peach--I'd counter that it still has a pretty juicy quality to it, but I can see an almost plasticky undertone. It's subtle and not bad, though. Adds to the nostalgia for me. Also, those who might feel offended by how sweet it is at opening might appreciate it more a the dry-down. All the notes are still there for me, but what some might call a sticky sweetness has calmed down to something cozier and more mellow. The musk, cardamom, and ginger starts to peek out and harmonize with the custard. Now you're having a sneaky sweet treat in bed.

This is exactly the peach perfume I was after. When I was 12/13 years old, Bottega Verde had this cheap peach perfume that was my favourite. I wore it every day, and I have been looking for a replacement ever since. I’ve tried so many, and it’s been really hard to find a peach perfume that cantered the peach note. Many didn’t smell good on me, or they would dry down and the smell of peach would disappear completely. This is a young, fun, smelling peach. Long lasting as well, it stays the whole day and you can smell the peach from the moment you spray it. It reminds me of youth, fun, peach tart summers. Peaches Revenge is very boozy in comparison, while this is all about sweet notes. I thought it was expensive when I first bought it, however a little goes a long way and the price is totally justified. I was wearing it for my birthday and the waitress told me “you smell edible, in the best possible way! So good!” And I got complimented a lot when I wear it. Definitely one of my fav, and finally the peach I was looking for.

Can't explain in words how much I love this stuff! Pastel Rumours is definitely a derivative of Peach's Revenge. If you substract peach from latter and replace it with milky cereal bowl note, add some fuzzy citrusy sunshine (just a dash), toss in the whipped cream and some caramelized sugar, you'll get the Rumours. It's fantastic in its own way. I prefer Rumours opening to the Peach, yet the mid notes of Rococo Pie with the prominent almost yuzu-like citrusy heart catches my attention more. One thing I know for sure is I need bigger sizes of these sold separately as I can't choose which one I love most. I feel like Pie will do better in summer being citrusy and everything, while Revenge is totally a spring fragrance for me. Rumors shines well now in somewhat cold winter we are having now. I'm torn and happy at the same time. Sarah Baker was always a brand to watch out for amongst niche fragrance houses and they didn't disappoint with any scents from the Trilogy.

I'm surprised how many people think the peach trilogy fragrances smell the same. Yes they are all centred around that gorgeous peach note but that's the end of the similarity for me. I struggle to pick a favourite but I think it's this one. It's a fragrance that makes me smile with every spray. Definitely getting peachy fruit loops and sweet milk. It's bright, full of sugar and utterly delicious. My only complaint is that on my skin it really doesn't last past 2-3 hours. And it's quite pricey so I don't want to overspray! That said I will always have a bottle of this in my collection- for times I need a little joy

This is a lot like Peach's Revenge, only more cute, vanilla/sweet candy like. Do you need both? Probably no, they are very similar, peach note is similar, it is dominant and delicious in both. But I do need both, they are just lovely and since they come in only 30 ml bottles, I'm glad to have 60 ml of an amazing peach scent on two variations. Performance is slightly lighter with Pastel Rumours, compared to Peach's Revenge, but that is only fitted given it's name and overall cute character.

My girlfriend gave me a choice of this one and Peach's Revenge, and I chose Peach's Revenge just because of the need for a good peach fragrance. This one smells like you're in the process of assembling the perfect peach pie. It's lactone's are just amazingly blended to the point of where they sit right in the middle of the fragrance to give it this nice, sweet and milky airiness about this one, and it smells BEAUTIFUL on her versus myself. 10/10.

Fabulous, delightful, fun, wish I had a full bottle for next summer. Sparkling but also mellow. I didn’t clock cereal milk til I read the notes but read as stone fruit and melon but I totally see it now that I know. It’s not at all offensive or too bold - super pleasant and close-sitting in terms of sillage.

The Sarah Baker 'zingy-green apple-peach' thing is right at the forefront with a candied sweetness backing it up. She has a backbone of burned sugars and musks. Just try it.

Cereal milk and peach rings. Do you need this if you already have any of the peach trilogy? Hell nah. Is this the best one out of the three? Hell yeah.

Its so milky and sweet. Incredibly gorgeous. Begins sour and fades into fruity. I liked the Peach Revenge more and my favorite is Loudo!

I’m a huge fan of unabashedly artificial strawberry milk, and Pastel Rumours opens with a perfect simulation of what its peach counterpart might smell like. Within an hour it mellows into a peach-infused crème caramel, sprinkled with ginger and cardamom. Equally kiki and bouba. My scent-esthesia is giving me more of a pale orange than a baby pink. A pastel, but don’t be deceived by the dainty, floaty name. Felt this was the highest volume of the Peach Trilogy – in both sweetness and spice – and it lasted well over a week on a cotton t-shirt. Less a rumour and more a public secret. Maintains its creaminess through the whole scent arc, and never loses the peppy, fruity vibe. Mental Snapshot: You landed your dream job. A slacker startup based out of a technicolour Victorian in Haight-Ashbury. There are beanbags in the boardroom and murals of Corporate Memphis cartoon people capering about the common spaces. You aren’t sure what you’re supposed to do there, but they’re still paying you just to giggle at cat videos and gossip with the crew. Your chill Millennial boss is giving you the rest of the week off. It’s totally cool if you want to dye your hair pink. In fact, we encourage it. tl;dr: peach chisme 🍑💅🏻

Peach rings and corn flakes—it’s a Thursday after-school special. I'm watching cartoons; This perfume weirdly reminds me of my older brother—candy from the gas station just up the road, his endlessly refilled cereal bowl. He's playing COD and doesn't hear the home phone ringing with his friend, Ramsey, on the other line. I watch my cool teenage brother in quiet, eight-year-old awe. I steal a few peach rings and shut the cupboard he forgot to close. The milky sweet musk sits close to the skin whereas the sugary peach radiates off of you. You smell them completely separate which is quite cool. There's also a very photorealistic peach slice, but it's so far off in the distance on me.

Reviewing a sample from 2025. Pastel Rumours was launched in 2024. A delicious creamy peach gourmand. This opens with a juicy burst of citrus ( due to the ginger) and realistic peach. The peach persists as sweet vanilla musk envelops it. Very creamy . A bit of coconut comes through in the dry down. I don't get the cumin smell that others have referred to, in fact I don't find this spicy at all. Quality - very good 4/5 Unisex - leans feminine Performance- very good 4/5 Vanilla ice cream over peach cobbler which quickly settles into a soft peachy vanilla musk. This scent is uplifting and very comforting. 7.0/10

This is exactly how you would image in, and now I get why they call it the younger sister of the trio! It’s sweet, playful and unique in its own way. An explosions of colors. It might come off as medicinal to some, but it’s so creamy and well blended. It smells like a peach yogurt with cereals in it. Like a bag of fruit you’re ready to dig into. Really one of the most unique fragrances I ever smelt. You need to try it for yourself! Rating: 8.5/10 🍑🥣

Smells kind of like nerds or runts or one of those candies at opening then gets a bit more grapefruity - don't get peach until the dry down with that underlying candy smell. Then it gets a bit more caramel. And there seems to be slight hint of that scented nitrous oxide they use at the dentist. “Lightheaded sugar smell.”

Sarah Baker fragrances are quite popular and i can see why. This one is a creamy lactonic delicious peach. It's not as sweet as I thought it would be, quite wearable I think. However, it's not really my thing, I think wearing this one would annoy me... but nice fragrance.

i never thought i would actually write a review on here but i have a lot of thoughts about this that i need to share. disclaimer: i think my expectations were too high for this trilogy. as a fan of peach's revenge, i expected big things. especially for pastel rumours and, unfortunately, i'm disappointed. why you might ask? well because this smells EXACTLY like peach's revenge. in fact, they are so similar that i thought for a second there might have been a manufacturing error and somehow the peach's revenge juice ended up in the bottles labeled pastel rumours. i mean, maybeee this is a bit sweeter and creamier? but i can't tell if that's actually what i'm smelling or if i'm subconsciously trying to convince myself that they are somehow any different. regardless, it's not a bad scent because again it's essentially peach's revenge. my recommendation: don't waste your money on the trilogy if you already have and enjoy peach's revenge. p.s. devastated that the "fruit loop" accord is nowhere to be seen in this. if anyone knows any other scents out there that actually smells like fruit loops, please let me know. that was what i was most looking forward to in pastel rumours.

Sweet peaches. Sometimes unisex fragrances are actually fit for both sexes. This is not one of those fragrances. This is not for men. This is fit only for young ladies. At the end of the day this is a pretty straightforward peach fragrance. One is tempted to say one dimensional. When smelled from a distance not bad, good even, nose to skin, no bueno, as I think I smell like a candle. Staying power and silage are outstanding.

Sarah Baker Perfumes Pastel Rumours is disgusting and the evil twin of the pretty but unique Peach's Revenge from the same house. Pastel Rumours smells like peach flavored cough syrup, whereas Peach's Revenge smells of slightly mentholated and boozy dried peaches and apricots that are chewy and sweet. It could be the ginger making it cough syrupy. Not sure but yuck. I don't even know what season you can wear this in.

Received it as part of a curated sample set. Notes sound amazing but it doesn't work for me. Somehow it smells like cumin on my skin from the first spray until about 3 hours in. After that it just smells like a light gourmand. Maybe it's the combo of ginger & cardamom? I even tried it twice, a week apart, to be sure. Like smelly armpits with peach body spray; no thank you.

If you're someone who like photorealistic scents, this is not it babe. This smells like you threw up after eating something spiced and milky and then finished it off with some pastel candies. It literally smells like food & stomach bile mixed. If you're looking for a sweet tart peach scent, try Peach Macaron by Theodoros Kalotinis.

I can smell the essence of a peachy cereal milk vibe, but my skin is making it lean more toward some cereal milk that’s been sitting out too long in an old plastic bowl.

This smells delicious on paper, a creamy, fruity scent that I was excited to try on my skin. But on my skin, a strong cumin-like note comes out and I don’t like it

Starts off like some newfangled sour candy, then dries down to some old-fangled cherry cough syrup. To be fair, I didn't like Peach's Revenge either. And the other Sarah Bakers I've tried -- Loudo Extrait, Gold Spot, Leopard -- have all been "dislikes" or "mehs" for me. It might be time for me to accept that this house just isn't it for me.

I’m sitting here in the middle of the night doing rigged up definitely not science science (it’s not science lol) logging in after ages of just reading you sexy beaches talking about your running around this world smelling good. I see y’all. Ok. Peach’s Revenge on one arm and this on the other. I put this in a little box in a drawer and didn’t mess with it for a minute. Not as long as ‘How to macerate stuff’ google said. That said don’t mess with it for 10 days. I probably did. (I did) Are they the same? I mean yeah? Yes? I can’t say no. First spray. Yes. As it sits? This guy is milkier in the place where there’s an almost citrusy zest of peach’s revenge. It’s like it takes off the little citrus hat the other one is wearing(??) I never would have noticed the citrus hat but next to this one it’s there for sure. Citrusy plum sort of hat. It’s a very confident hat. I AM getting cereal milk a little in the arm with Pastel Rumors. Cereal milk to a fruity cereal. It’s ‘sweeter’ where the other has that citrus rind kind of bitterness. Bitterness like in a cocktail bitterness. The other one sort of stays sweet and levels out the sweetness. Am I nitpicking? Yep. They’re SO similar. I love both of them though. I want to roll around in them like a sassy good-smelling barn animal.

To my nose, this is a very fun, sweet, youthful (not in a bad way, youthful can be good in many cases) fragrance :) Upon initial spray you're blasted with a candy-like syrupy sweet peach (something akin to peach rings) - definitely not very photorealistic. When it dries down the vanillic and lactonic accords come through more and it's like cereal vanilla milk has been spilled over the peach (as someone has said before). I do really like it and I'm very impressed with this fragrance because I've never smelled such a bright and sweet peach (in contrast to a green and unripe peach) before! Ultimately I did find the peach was too artificial for me to obtain a cozy feeling out of the perfume, when having its scent bubble trailed around me... :)

I'm not sure if it's just me, but upon first spray, I was getting a serious potpourri vibe. It's since faded, and this one is similar to Peach's Revenge, a bit less musk, and no pastry vibe. I think I get it. I recently bought a soap that is scented "Fruit Loops", and this kind of reminds me of it, just with all peach. In fact, now that the initial off-putting potpourri note faded, I feel like this is almost peach milk tea, very light on the tea. Is anyone else getting that? I think I may end up getting the trio if I can now. I'm a peach fiend, so these three are right up my alley.

I don't really get fruity cereal (ie fruit loops/fruity pebbles), but it is a really nice, bright, fruity scent. It does give me a nostalgic hit, but it's not the cereal aspect. It's very peachy, but unique to other peach scents I've smelled. There's almost an herbal undertone to it, like some type of fancy lotion you would buy from an apothecary. Normally, I feel like I can smell lactonic notes more in the dry-down of a gourmand, but with this one, I actually smelled it strongest immediately after spraying, then it died down to that classic fruity, slightly marshmellow-y smell.

It has been a while since I have fallen in love with a fragrance at first snif, I don't really have anything similar to this in my collection. I def smell the peach, some cereal note, but also something to me comes across as a tea. So to me this smells like a peach boba tea with pudding jelly. Really beautiful, really unique! It can feel a little like a VS or BBW body mist to some when it comes to the scent profile, but the fresher notes make it somewhat sophisticated. I highly recommend sampling.

This smells like when you walk into a Michael's craft store in september/october. Somehow I am getting cinnamon pears/peaches and potpourri. Doesn't smell like peach revenge at all really to me. After 10 minutes it definitely smells more peachy cereal but also synthetic undertone, like when a lotion that says it's unscented but still has a weird scent to it.

Maybe I am crazy but upon the initial spray I get a heavy cannabis mixed with Zebra Stripe gum scent, which is not a bad thing. Not really getting the cereal and milk, but instead a really tangy and unique fruity scent! The drydown is a lot softer but doesn't change much from the opening, at least on me!

This is good because it smells 97% the same as Peach’s Revenge. I wondered if I grabbed the wrong bottle. Maybe it will change after it rests from shipping but like the reviewer before me, I’m stunned by the similarity to Peach’s Revenge

this is my fave out of the trilogy.... it's so addicting .... i find myself walking by the bottle a few times per day just to sniff the bottle. i love it! on my skin its sweet & fruity & super fun. love love love

I got a sample with high hopes. Unfortunately on my skin it smells like rotting guava candy. Very sugary sweet too. No peach or fresh notes.

It is extremely redundant. If you have Peach’s Revenge you don’t need this!!

It smells just like Wild Berry Skittles to me on the dry down.

Straight up banana bread, like actual banana bread.
