Rococo Pie

this perfume is not what i expected, but that’s not a bad thing. i actually didn’t like it the first time i smelt it, but im glad i gave it another chance, because now i’m addicted. the amber is SUPER strong, definitely the strongest note i get, but there’s a creamy peach, nutty sandalwood, and sweet orange jasmine background to it that’s really intriguing. i had my dad smell it for an unbiased opinion and he said “wow i absolutely love that, it’s like ice cream and vanilla”, which surprised me because of how amber-forward it is to me, but the vanilla does come out slowly over time. i think this is super duper sexy and intoxicating, probably more of an evening scent. it would be perfect for a romantic date night if you want to seduce someone. it lasts all day and definitely projects far. this won’t be my daily scent, but i think it would be amazing for special occasions. it’s the kind of scent that may need to grow on you a bit, but then you fall deeply in love with it. the more i wear it the more i want to keep shoving my nose in my wrist cuz i can’t get enough!!

This one is interesting one. I sense more dirtier musk being used in here. With lots of citrusy notes in the mid. Yuzu, mandarin, lemon. It gives me the distant vibe of Akro's Bake but not quite. I see comparison to lira and D&G, it's the same sugary lemon note that everyone catches as it is very recognizable element in this scent. Same one that makes me think of Bake. But intrinsic structure and developement is not even close to any of the comparison's above. IT is super milky, musky and zingy at the same time. In hot sunny weather it worked best for me so I'm keeping it till my next vacation. Pastel Rumours is more cozy for colder climate I'm normally in. Don't listen to people telling you it doesn't last. They just go noseblind to it. Any of the three from this Trilogy last ages on skin and we are talking days on clothes here.

Got this and Pastel Rumours to test and honestly this surprised me. I thought I was going to like Pastel Rumours more because people described it as milky fruity cereal (not at all to me) and this was supposed to be a peach pie scent. I turned out to like Rococo Pie way more, *but* it isn't giving pie/pastry/dough at all. On my skin it's fruity, jammy, with a creaminess at the base. Imagine a scoop of vanilla ice cream with peach marmalade on top. It's a unique scent that I haven't smelled from other brands, it's very girly and feminine to me. I would wear this with a sundress on a sunny picnic day and frolic in the park with my girl friends. I'd also just spray maybe 3 sprays max on myself since it's quite strong and the jamminess can get overwhelming you put on too much. 8/10. Unique, feminine, long-lasting.

If Peach's Revenge is going to be the peach going into the pie, and Pastel Rumor's is the process of baking the pie, then Rococo Pie is the final result of the process. This one smells like pie crust and cinnamon with a nice smoky and milky-syrup undertone, then you slap a few scoops of vanilla bean ice cream on top to finish off the beautiful display of sweet deliciousness. I don't care about cloying, and I don't care about any too sweet comments. This is a masterpiece and requires an appreciation of Peach. 10/10

Without seeing the notes for me it smelled like milky lemon cake. But like really really fresh sweet milk scent. Floral and tart lemon probably from the tangerine. I looove this gourmand and fresh delicious

lovely in spring, horrible in summer. would not spray this in high temperatures, it becomes overly sweet and had to scrub it off. i do find it a very comforting scent in springtime though.

Opulent, fruity, and almost sickeningly sweet. Rococo era excess is communicated perfectly through this perfume. It’s a lacey fruit filled pie topped with whipped cream.

Bright, playful, kawaii-rendered peach. Like a scented peach plushie, with anime eyes. Very uwu. The lightest and freshest of the Peach Trilogy, but still a proper gourmand. Wouldn’t call it peach pie, as there’s no real starch or spice to it. Maybe a peach custard. Or a Peach Melba, with fresh-squeezed tangerine in place of raspberry syrup. I would have never guessed coconut, but I could call the vanilla ice cream. The fruit to cream ratio here is even, in comparison to the peach-flavoured condensed milk of Pastel Rumours and the sweet-n-sour gummy rings of Peach’s Revenge. Well-rounded lifespan (6h) that fades into a milky amber. Mental Snapshot: The perfume I’d wear on a hot date on the hottest Animal Crossing island. (A peach-tree island, of course). You’re on a cartoon picnic, and Tom Nook is serving up a generous slice of homemade peach tart. (Surprisingly free of charge). It looks delicious, but too cute to eat. tl;dr: peaches n’ cream 🍑🍰

Seeing the reviews I thought I was gonna get blasted with the smell of a heavy coconut pie. But once I tried it, it immediately smelt much more light and airy than I thought. It’s like a sweet citrusy gelato with a hint of coconut. A more refined and profound version of Devotion from D&G. If I had to choose I would 100% go for Rococo Pie, as it’s what I hoped Devotion was. Perfect for the hot months as well. It’s mature, sweet and fun! I think it’s even safe for a blind buy! Definitely one of my favourite citrusy gourmands. Rating: 8-/10 🍊🥧

I get the walnut and tangerine the most in the opening which is absolutely gorgeous and unique to me. It dries down to a soft vanilla slightly peachy nothingness.... I’ll give it a little more time to mancerate.

Sweet and nostalgic coconut cream pie. This is comforting in a reminiscent of childhood way, but wearable and without being cloying.

This one is the most classy, evening appropriate and warmest of the Peach Trilogy. There is the familiar peach note, but it is not overly dominant. I know for some people it's a favourite of the three but for me it is just not exactly my taste. I do not like those creamy almost animalic evening scents, even though it is not bothering me much and I can appreciate, I'm sure I won't be reaching for it thus will probably declutter. BTW, I would say it is a peach cousin to the Banana Bread Banshee by Hez Parfums.

meh. feels like a B&BW body mist and lasts about as long as one too. the tangerine in this is also a bit overpowering for me - all i get is a musky tangerine with a hint of walnut, which is not what i was hoping it'd be. overall rating: 🩷🩷💔🖤🖤 2.5/5

Another awful synthetic amber/musk scrubber. This one, like so many, is also topped with a sweetness overload.

I totally agree with dcjimr: it’s something oversweet (chemicals) on a modern musc base (chemicals). The opening was promising, I did feel the peach but within 15 minutes it became quite unbearable creation that leads the thoughts to Erba pura, kirke and some Montales scents. I needed to wash it off.

Ugh, filled with aroma chemicals that smell like....well, chemicals. Not fruit. These modern fragrances all smell the same to me. Definitely gets better in the dry down.

I just reviewed another of the Peach’s Revenge trilogy: Pastel Rumors. Verdict: it smells like Peach’s Revenge, maybe milkier? It made me realize Peach’s Revenge has a bit of a citrus twang sitting on top of it. I’m not mad at any citrus twang and especially not that one. If I concentrate hard enough I can smell the cereal milk. Am I reaching? MAYBE!! LOL So help me as the heavens are my witness I will get a trough and roll around in both of them. Bottle One: YESSSSSSSS Bottle Two: YESSSssS. This third in the trilogy. I’m confused? I’m a bit weirded out. I don’t know? No. The incongruities of ‘Wait what?’ ‘Why? What? How? Why? This.. what? It’s musky amber. This is no pie. Maybe one that a musky animal jumps out of? That’s a strange analogy but this is discordant. It’s strangely musky and very discordant to the other little fruity baubles. There’s a depth but none of it goes foodie. I’m fine with stretching the boundaries of gourmand. I will get another hypothetical trough and roll around in some Ysl Babycat.. Maybe there’s a hint of some of the same ideals as Matiere Vanilla Powder? That is what I wear when I need to Sass someone Grown-Adult style. You can’t really Sass around slinging some ‘Come To Jesus’ yellin’ when you smell like a cake. So that’s my ‘I’m an adult and I only kind of smell like cake you will take me seriously’ fragrance. It’s ‘adulty’ but I get coconut out of that one and I sure do like it. This is maybe like if a musky wet animal were wearing Matiere Vanilla Powder?? I don’t know. I don’t know. It’s so discordant that I don’t even know

blind bought the trilogy because i love the OG peach's revenge. i've reviewed pastel rumours already so see my profile if you would like to know someones thoughts on that one since there are no other reviews for these two new fragrances. now, about rococo pie. i had no idea what to expect with this one. not many people have reviewed the trilogy so far, so i was truly going in blind. however, i did see @perfumerism (on tiktok and youtube) review this and she mentioned that to her nose this has similarities to devotion by dolce & gabbana... and she was spot on. in the dry down, this smells EXTREMELY close to devotion except perhaps a bit less citrusy and with a touch of peach. but the differences to my are very minor. although, in the opening, i also get whiffs of the delicious gourmand from cirque de soleil, l'eau de parfum. but this dissipates fairly quickly. i do own devotion and enjoy it (despite having major beef with D&G as a brand) so it's nice to know i won't be needing to repurchase devotion once my bottle runs out. but that isn't what i wanted from rococo pie. i wanted original and unique. and this just isn't, i'm sad to say. absolutely no remnants of the peach pie accord that's listed on sarah baker's website. in a perfect world, this would be a peachy take on sora dora's jany. but i guess we don't live in a perfect world.

Very nice gourmand by Sarah. Modern mainstream gourmands are hard to evaluate qualitatively because they are kinda easy to make, kinda similar in composition and a DNA kinda easy to describe, sweet this, vanilla that, fruits, chocolate, caramel etc etc... to my nose what set this apart is the evolution from a very well done juicy peach vanilla pie to "beachy" coconut and nutty sun tan lotion, giving it an unexpected twist and preventing it from being just another run of the mill gourmand. Don't expect miracles, it's a synthetic blend, but very well done and good enough to fulfill your sweet cravings and different enough to please niche heads looking for a new take on the gourmand genre. Hats off to Sarah.

I rather quite like this one. It's a peach cobbler eaten in a diner, where the warm scent of the cobbler just about covers up the smells of the diner. That kind of sound weird, but the amber and musk gives an edge to it. Unlike the punch in the face that is Bitter Peach, this one just wafts into your senses. This may well be my favorite one of the trio. I just tested Peach's Revenge again, because I had said that one also reminded me of peach cobbler. I find that one fresher, sharper, a summer cobbler, whereas this one is warm, better for autumn. I'm really wanting these now.

This is the best out of all three. The other 2 were not bad; this one blows them out of the park. It is so unique and interesting and just addictive to smell. This one is less sweet and more natural but also is still a bit synthetic, but geneuily is so good. 8/10.

It burns my nose and sinuses. Chemical soup, it reeks of ambroxan! amber here is just synthetic crap. It has the sweetness of a coconut candle. Not good. Sample it first. If you are sensitive to harsh aromachemicals you need to sample this first.

First impressions - like a mandarin/peach version of Akro Bake. Bright and zesty, tempered by a bit of amber cream. Do you want to smell like a sophisticated creamsicle? Look no further.

There is an underlying sense of naughtiness here, something almost vulgar hiding beneath a sweet, airy gourmand. I am almost convinced the "pie" in the name is a double entendre.
