I bought mine at Dubai Mall in 2019 after trying all the various scents by this brand and I fell in love with their scents. I am a big fan of Arabian perfumes so I struggled to choose one but ended up going with Renal. I love the opening - gives me this luxurious, sweet yet powerful vibe. I tend not to smell it much after a while on my skin but it stays on well on my clothes and people always tell me I smell great whenever I wear it. I voted it to be unisex because my husband wears it too and he loves it. A very beautiful, well crafted scent in a classy packaging. I believe it is a great gift to give someone who you want to make feel special because this is not a main stream brand you can find anywhere. I have Kalemat from Arabian Oud and they have similar vibes although Kalemat is sweeter from the beginning.

Love this scent! One of the most compliment getter options to wear in cold weather. Great for meetings and a classy style. Definitely love this one.

First Impressions: (Discovery set) Note: I was smelling a lot of perfumes at once. Sorry couldn’t help myself lol. This one I really like from the paper. This just the right amount of balance. Ooooo could this be a full bottle for me. We shall see. Edit 1: Oof that wood is a very sharp woody scent on my skin. Hmm. It kind of reminds me of like Maison margiella jazz club kinda, but then more fruity? It’s definitely more masculine, and on some whiffs smells like tires. Why is it doing that on my skin. Edit 2: I will say that this smells more masculine to me. I think it’s the rosemary that makes it that way. This was my top two from the sawalef line, and I think I like musk Al reem better because retal gives me the same vibe as Valentino uomo I think? I was really close to purchasing this. Let’s see what others say because this is extremely hard for me to choose.

This has a scent profile unlike anything I've encountered in my collection. It opens with a captivating fruity note, reminiscent of synthetic blueberries, a sweet and stylized interpretation rather than a photorealistic portrayal. This sweetness is further enhanced by a warm maple syrup accord, adding a touch of gourmand depth. The prominent accord is a smooth and delightful wood, lending a masculine inclination to the fragrance. Unlike the sharp, invigorating cedar or the deep, heavy oud, this wood is soft and light, akin to sandalwood or cashmere wood, creating a luxurious and feminine counterpoint when juxtaposed with the sweetness. The base is a gentle blend of musk and sweetness, maintaining a subtle presence. Interestingly, I detect a distinct latex or rubber aroma, reminiscent of new tires. While not unpleasant, it's a noteworthy characteristic that adds an unexpected dimension to the fragrance. Retal offers a moderate projection, maintaining an intimate and personal aura that lingers for several hours

Aw yuck. It’s herby, bitter, medicinal, and stinky. There is no sweetness to be found, just what reminds me of dry bitter woods in the base. The stank is so animalic like in Babycat, beyond offensive to my nose. I think because I’m so sensitive to what offends me, it overwhelms my olfactory system and renders me completely blind to the nuance in fragrances like this. I can’t find blueberries, maple syrup, or anything fruity to sweet like the reviewer below me. I feel like I was sprayed by a skunk and struggling to breathe.
