Oh this is nice. At first sniff I hated it, but, I reminded myself that I also hate Portrait of a Lady at first too. Initially there is an almost camphorous pong, but that settles and the true fragrance notes unfold. I am not expert enough to distinguish what the notes are beyond the initial blast of Lily, however it develops into a softly narcotic scent that keeps hooking my nose💖

Reminds me of Elizabeth Arden White Tea Wild Rose with powder—a great all-round scent with a hint of freshness. Good sillage the first 4 hours, later becomes a skin scent for 3 more hours. It looks like the brand may have gone bankrupt? It completely vanished from the internet almost a year ago and the store/office in Finland has permanently closed according to Google Maps. Sad, I love Nordic-inspired fragrances and fresh florals. The only thing I have left is an 8ml vial.

The brand website lists the following notes: Top: lemon, grapefruit Heart: lotus, peach, ylang Base: amber, aquatic notes, musk.

Opens with a citrus zest and a centers around true lily of the valley, softened with rose, lotus, peach and slight aquatic tones. To my nose, there's a hint of smokiness as from birch wood maybe, which adds calm, there's a decent, quite strong clean white musk and in a couple of hours, it all settles into a surprisingly sweet ambery caramel.(Yeah that's a bit strange - and I must add this is not a sweet scent.) There is also a pink pepper here, weaving in and out, sometimes it's so obviously there, sometimes I wonder if it ever was. Their website says -ylang and now that I know to look for it, it's definitely there as well, it's hard to say where the lily of the valley ends and the ylang begins. A bright, uncomplicated and delicate office safe scent for women of all walks of life and for a man who doesn't need to prove his masculinity. Performance is ok and there's a sort of finesse to it, a quiet but distinct personality that might make this a signature scent for someone. I hardly ever use flowery perfumes but I got a 8 ml tester of this and it's really wearable and pleasant.
