Everlasting

This fragrance is simultaneously the pale yellowness of the dried herbs and the honeyed sky of the golden hour. The name makes total sense: the first image the smell evokes is the arrangement of the the everlasting flowers, peaceful and beautiful in their natural aptitude to death without decay. Then the honey wave comes, airy and gorgeous, almost as if f brought in by the wind and transfixed in the air by the nature itself. After that, the smell opens up to an underbelly of melting wax, which for me brings to mind a calming, big, light church. I see it being perfect for the dry, cloudy weather, when the sun strikes through the sky in golden glimpses. The smell isn't exactly warm or bright, and the images it evokes are akin to still-life pictures; and yet, I cannot help but come back to it again and again. In the world where the fragrances with plant notes in them are either foresty, herbal or floral, this one is surprisingly unique. P.S. I would not say this smells like the notes stated pretty much at all. The only ones I can vouch for are immortelle and honey; I do not smell any musk, and no bergamot either. It also barely projects, unfortunately. I wish it was stronger.
