Moon Jasmine

Finally, this has been added to the data base. I got a free sample of this in an order from Ministry of Scent and I fell head over heals for it and bought a FB right away. I've had it since this summer and now I am able to add it to my collection here. This is a really beautiful and unique jasmine fragrance. The sweet and milky custard apple goes so well with the tangy berries (I forgot their name) in the top notes. They smell absolutely delicious but those fruits melt into the heady and beautiful jasmine, Fragrant tea, softly smoky incense and balsamic vanilla. You can smell each individual note but they still blend together to create a beautiful, heady, and very romantic and enchanted aroma. This is a year a round fragrance but I really enjoyed wearing it in high heat of summer. It has a tropical vibe while not being entirely tropical. Heady, romantic, sensual and very delicious. Would be a lovely honeymoon fragrance. Any romantic occasion really. Big Love for me.

Holy jasmine! Wonderful soft, creamy and warm detergent freshness that evokes the first blooms of jasmine in the springtime. Smelling my wrist felt like burying my face in sheets christened with jasmine blooms; strong and clean scent. Open is very jasmine heavy, only very slightly powdery for how floral it is. After about 4 hours, the smell was a light and creamy vanilla jasmine, like the scent of a milk tea without the lactonic quality, with faint wisps of something that evoked a sweetness -- maybe lychee or green grape, though there is nothing of the sort. Overall, super gorgeous jasmine vanilla, like sitting in a garden in the springtime shade, surrounded by fresh jasmine blooms and lines of fresh laundry hanging overhead.

The notes list here is missing some of the most important elements of this fragrance: Maracuja and Chirimoya, which imbue Moon Jasmine with a luscious, intense fruitiness that makes it totally captivating and unique as far as jasmine perfumes go!! I love Jasmine, but Loreto has created something truly unlike any jasmine perfume I’ve smelled before: a deeply fruity jasmine with great lasting power (all day for me!) and nice projection 🙌 I’ve long loved Loreto’s work with her own L’Aromatica line so I knew this would be a love for me. If you’re a lover of fruity florals this is a wonderful take on this genre!!

got a sample of this because I am looking for a strong, indolic, jasmine-forward scent to replace lust by lush. this one is not what I'm looking for, but it's still pleasant. it's more fruit-forward than jasmine-forward. the first thing you smell is a blast of juicy peach (or some kind of fruit). once it settles down, the jasmine starts to come through. but it's a fresh jasmine, as opposed to the heady, dark version I was hoping for. I will use up the sample, but not repurchase. i'm sure this is the right scent for somebody though. it awoke a scent memory I didn't know I had, and this is an extremely deep pull that I'm sure no one will get, but it reminded me of the (long discontinued) lychee blossom body butter from the body shop.

Upon spray, perhaps for half a second, I thought I got something tropical maybe banana. But it’s a bit of floral creaminess and I get citrus, not necessarily bergamot. And it’s more of a rind, not the juicy pulp. It is an interesting interpretation of a jasmine perfume.

This review is part of my Gummy Set (curated by Cammy)!! It was paired with a heart gummy. Really felt unrelated to gummies at all. The first spritz left an amazing scent in the air! I had high hopes from that and was excited to explore it more. As the perfume settled, that addicting vanilla scent disappeared and was replaced with an annoying musk. I get a little bit of kitty litter when I really sit there with it. Not a fan of this one! Now I need to find a perfume that sticks to that initial vanilla

This smells like peach rings. How? Why? Once I got past the initial peach ring blast, I picked up a waxy white floral that felt more reminiscent of tuberose than jasmine to my nose, and a fruity black tea. The sandalwood in this I think is more of the fresh-green-pickle-y variety than the smooth-woody-vanilla’s variety, and it just sort of blends in with the general fruitiness and adds to the overall brightness of the scent.

Notes per Scent Trunk Website: Maracuya, Bergamot, Chirimoya, Maqui, Chilean Moon Jasmine, Incense, Black Tea, Creamy Vanilla, Sandalwood, Musk Beautiful realistic freh jasmine with a tart fruitiness that almost comes across as passionfruit. I'm guessing from the Chirmoya. The incense note is very light. I would not guess it was in there if I did not look at the notes. Beautiful scent. One of the best from Scent Trunk .

Moon jasmine is the ultimate narcotic milky jasmine. This is the first I’ve seen Moon blooming jasmine as a note and it is beautifully executed in this creamy enigmatic blend. Opening with a juicy peachy jasmine, soft but has a full rich body that supports the bright openings leading you into a thick humid jungle of fully bloomed jasmine covered in moon lit dew.

Good! A friend sprayed a bit on me, I quite enjoyed it- its very elegantly floral, almost honeysuckle at points. Would buy myself if it wasn't expensive!

This is a beautiful very indolic jasmine fragrance. I was hoping it would be a balance between jasmine and tea but on my skin, it's pure jasmine!

very faint jasmine smell but the incense and sandalwood overpowered any floral note
