Papyrus in Acacia

The notes here is incorrect. It does not have leather and animal notes. The right notes from the website is star anise, carrot oil, orris, geranium, tuberose, cypriol, tonka and cassie. This is the most beautiful scents from this house imo. It starts off semi sweet, with the vegetalness of carrot and cypriol, it dries down creamy with orris, tonka and the dryness from cypriol. I do sniff the floral profile in between the top notes and dry down but cannot pinpoint the tuberose. Sad to see the house discontinuing the scent. Lovers do stock up.

I really enjoy this scent. One of many full bottle worthy selections from this house. It is woody in a oak tables and old hardcover books kind of way, and is perfect for academia days and office wear. It starts off sweet and mellows out as the day wears on. It has a similar creamy woody vibe to Whispers in the Library, but outperforms it in quality and longevity. Edit: I have the travel size and want a full bottle or partial. HMU if you've got one to sell. I'm in the US.

I think the notis notes listed is pretty missleading. It opens up with a note of papyrus but quickly transforms in to a pleasant creamy Woody scent with leather and smoke in the background. No booze listed, however i feel like there are similarities with this and ”plum in cognac” when i compare them. Definetly one of the better ones from the brand.

I think this was one of the first to get discontinued from the house, so I fomo copped only to seldom sniff let alone wear because of its “carnal floralcy”.. it was very spicy but now i smell the papyrus in amouage opus III & prada LRB an hour into the wear O.O Ima just leave it at that 😜

Just blind bought one of the few last bottles. It's woody, coconutty spice cookie/cake and tuberose...but not overly sweet. Unisex. As a tuberose lover, this was a success. If you like tuberose but think it needs nonfloral help you may want to snag one of these.
