Royal Milk

This is my newest cheap + cheerful discovery bedtime scent and I am obSESSED!! Royal Milk has a bit of an Escapade Gourmand vibe with the burnt sugar/creme brulee thing going on, which I think is meant to be the honey note. I do get some soft chamomile tea vibes that bring a bit of a wispy floral vibe, but overall, it's mostly creamy almond milk and the toasted sugary note with a teensy bit of spice. Decent longevity for a Target find too.

It’s a simple yet beautiful smell, you can really detect all the separate notes while also being blended really well. Honey is usually a hit or miss for me but it’s not overpowering here. It’s just right. However, the performance is what really won me over. For a random brand at Target, I’m impressed by the longevity.

With a name like Royal Milk, I was expecting this to be much more lactonic somehow. ...also don't be fooled by the notes. It smells like a less dense, not as strong Vanilla Voyage, no lie. It also feels more well put together. I feel like Vanilla Voyage has a gross licorice note at the beginning, then it becomes predominantly a heavy and dense vanilla. Royal Milk smells like Vanilla Voyage but I can smell all the notes here. I know that sounds really weird, but smells like an upgraded Vanilla Voyage. The chamomile cuts through at the beginning, leaving an almost fresh and sweet vibe, but then 20 seconds later it becomes Vanilla Voyage!! If I had to chose, I'd chose this one. The almond notes has a slight powdery dryness that I enjoy, this is light and airy. This last about 4 hours on my skin. Vanilla Voyage is just heavier, imo, and last longer too. Though I detest VV, I just felt it was a too much of a vanilla fragrance with no depth and it smelled generic. (though it's a bianco latte dupe). This fragrance, however, it seemed like they took their time to make a luxury scent.
