Veil of Orris, the latest release from the emerging Saudi perfume house Selcouth, is truly a remarkable creation. The name fits perfectly as this fragrance indulges you with the rich and captivating scent of orris, from start to finish! The harmonious blend of other notes like plum, vanilla, violet, lavender, and some woods highlights the multifaceted features of orris— warm, velvety, waxy, buttery, creamy, earthy, powdery, you name it! My friend blind bought this, and brought to me to try today, From the fist sniff, you can tell the great quality this is made of, i believe he said all ingredients were from Givaudan. It opens with a beautiful blended settled Iris, and then slowly but surely you start getting hints of other notes, some earthiness from the orris, what i loved the most again is the blending work done in this perfume ! Very beautiful take on Iris, highly recommend it.

A super generous extrait de parfum from an independent Saudi perfume house. Opens with a juicy hit of plum and bergamot, then melts into vanilla, iris, and warm boozy notes. Beautifully blended from start to finish. If you like sweet, rich, whimsical notes this is a very beautifully done perfume!

Initial spray you get cardamom, suede, and vanilla. I get vanilla 85% of the perfume, 10% powdery notes, and very little to no iris overall. An okay scent 6.5/10 could work with the longevity because it’s gone in about 10 minutes, and all I smell is vanilla and suede.
