Chocolate

This is a lovely fragrance, warm and intoxicating, and more complex than the listed notes would lead you to believe; “Floral Fruity Gourmand” describes it well. The chocolate smells like expensive European chocolate, but it doesn't dominate. It blends beautifully with creamy vanilla and caramel, heady orange blossom and tangy sweet bergamot. “Chocolate” by Sergio Nero delivers a lot of bang for the buck. Try to imagine Mugler's “Angel” without the patchouli. If you can do that, then you'll have an approximate idea of what this fragrance smells like. EDIT: “Chocolate Greedy” by Montale smells similar to this, and costs about ten times as much. If you like that one, you might want to give this a try!

What??? Funny but it feels a lot like something Juicy Couture or Mugler. I bought this for $7, just out of curiosity, and wow. I don't know how much use I'll get from it, but it will keep all of my nieces out of my $$$ juices, lol. Nice. Not unhappy. Coffee is coming tomorrow.

This is that Choco musk / Pink Sugar profile. More vanilla than chocolate. In fact I don’t think this is recognisable as chocolate at all if you’re thinking of UK / European chocolate - It might reach a tiny bit towards the sour milk Chocolate you get in The U.S, like Hershey’s or similar but it’s burnt sugar - caramel made without cream. Not milky or smooth, so it doesn’t smell like chocolate to my (British!) nose. Maybe more like the chocolate “flavoured” sauces we get over here for ice cream or cheap milkshakes that taste mainly like sugar! What I get more than chocolate, is coffee! If you can imagine a lighter version of pink sugar with an added coffee note, that’s what Sergio Nero Chocolate smells like to me. His Coffee perfume smells like black filter coffee with a hint of sesame, but this one is poorly named for how it actually smells imho. Vanilla Caramel coffee might have been a better name! Neither is a projection beast but they both lasted for ages on me. As with anything even slightly resembling Pink Sugar, I find this headache inducing but for those who enjoy pink sugar I think it would be a safe blind buy so long as you also like coffee! Ps, if you want a sort of toffee chocolate vibe but like me, don’t like pink sugar, maybe give Al Nuaim Chocolate Musk Oil a go - it’s still rather synthetic but I find it more fudgy and creamy and there’s no sourness or burnt sugar in that one - my whole family love how it smells too! I don’t have the body spray so can’t comment on that, but the oil is glorious, last for ages and has decent projection :)

I had to write a review for this perfume as soon as possible. This is an exact replica of Pink Sugar by Aqualina. Do not waste your money on this perfume! If I ever miss that perfume, I will probably buy this, simply because it's that cheap and is a perfect dupe. If you have Pink Sugar, move along. I'm sad I even spent $15.00 on it as I have a full size bottle of Pink Sugar already.

So I get some chocolate in this one but it’s a light chocolate powder dusting, not a full blown gourmand chocolate. Weirdly the thing I smell the most is actually bitter coffee and orange which isn’t a problem because I totally love the scent of this BUT it does make me wonder if my bottle accidentally got muddled up or something. I’m nearly finished with this one as I’ve worn it so much and I will order another bottle afterwards to see if they are they same!
