I Love Italy Man

This is a Great Fragrance ! Fresh, Citrusy, Clean, Green and Herbal. In my opinion , It is a Hidden Gem with reasonable price. Easy to wear and Easy to like, This perfume is suitable for warm weather and for Relaxing. It opens up with fresh spicy , citrusy and green notes in the background then dry down is mossy and woody. You can't go wrong with it, l fell in love with it at first sniff ! I bought it blind-buy after I watched reviews on YouTube, Special Thanks to: Scent Land. Longevity is Average but It smells so good and very pleasant. One of the best Men's Cologne by Sergio Tacchini with Italian Style. If you like Acqua di Gio profondo, You will like this one. I'm so happy that I have it in my collection, Highly Recommended. Thumbs Up. Rating : 8 / 10

One word: Beautiful. Projection is weak after 5 minutes but still, very enjoyable scent. I wouldn’t compare it to Aqua di Gio.

This smells like the bottle that would be sitting in every Italian man's vanity that he sprays on as a scent equivalent of an aperitif for the day. Beautifully citrusy, and in the sharp, rind type of way, rather than a sweet and soft citrus (similar to LV pacific chill in that way). This stuff doesn't last, though. You will need to take the bottle with you if you hope to smell like this all day, especially in the heat. It's an excellent fragrance to freshen you up, layer with something else or wear when doing errands or a quick gym workout. This fragrance cost me $9.90 AUD (6.50 USD), I think it is 100% worth it, and the people who still rate it negatively for its performance alone are obviously the ones who paid way more than they should.

lovely, cheap, fresh, and light fragrance with adg dna. smells like the duty free in the davinci airport in rome. ideal application situations: out of the shower, early morning in the spring or summer and before bed in the summer. it is very light so spray a lot. extremely likeable and inoffensive. edit: i’m really starting to fall in love with this stuff, it’s so pleasant and clean.

Amazing citrus, fresh scent with a little sea note. When is smell it i can see a man with curly black hair pulling a cart on the street with lemon in it. The silage and perfomance is not very good menawhile.. for the price you can get jacques bogart or iceberg with much better performance.

Nice perfume with a balance between citrus, woody, and some green notes; very suitable for the office, but longetivity and sillage are weaker than in many aftershaves. So if you want a nice summer aftershave, try Coolwave or Whitewater instead.

Sampled this at the mall in Dubai. Pretty fresh lemony smell.... almost reminiscent of the likes Dior Homme Cologne, Jimmy Choo man Ice or Mercedes Benz Cologne. Nothing ground breaking, and won't offend anyone. Can be had for cheap as well.

Excellent! Very orangey and fun scent, I smell a lot of Aloysia for some reason, I have a small Aloysia bush and it smells exactly like that Very good perfume

Acqua di Gio DNA with a boosted, artificial lemon sourness in the opening that disappears after about five minutes. Performance is weak overall, but once you get past the opening, it develops into the typical pleasant scent of ADG.

Acqua di Gio light. Paid $10, can’t complain.

Edit: This smells absolutely nothing like ADG Profondo (the review above mine compares it to that). I'm bringing that up in case anyone gets the wrong idea and then has buyer's remorse. This has 0% ADG DNA in it; this instead 100% veers toward a Ralph Lauren Big Pony 1/Benetton Sport Man type of DNA but is thankfully not as screechy or linear as either of those. // TLDR: Citrus shower gel freshie. It has the same overall DNA as Ralph Lauren Big Polo 1 and Benetton Sport Man but is not as synthetic as either of those. Chris from Scent Land has unnecessarily overhyped this one. It's "decent," but it's a bit boring/linear, slightly juvenile/high school, and not a hidden gem at all. Best used as a casual, throwaway summer heater beater for the gym or by the pool. Max 2 hours longevity when worn outdoors. // It smells like a cheap but cheerful trip to the Amalfi Coast in the 1990s: sunshine, blue skies, white-washed buildings, and salty air whipping up off the Mediterranean onto the cliffs above. I don't mean "cheap" in a derisive or negative way. This fragrance is definitely not made of high-quality ingredients, but neither is it overly screechy or overly synthetic. This is a salty, citrusy, refreshing "splash" that puts me in mind of a young Gen X traveler on a gap year trip in Italy in the 90s. Having said that, a pre-warning that the opening spray is screechy with that strong initial alcohol-like smell, which is common among a lot of cheapies. But happily, the alcohol screechyness completely dies away within 10 to 15 seconds, and you can't smell it anymore (unlike a lot of cheapies where it stays in the background), and you are left with something not amazing but definitely pleasantly refreshing. I am dead serious when I say that the fragrances this smells closest to are Ralph Lauren Big Pony 1 and Benetton Sport Man, which are both pretty awful, linear, and juvenile high school types of fragrances I do not like. What saves I Love Italy from being something I want to throw away is that it is nowhere near as screechy and synthetic as Big Pony 1/Benetton Sport Man and has a touch more depth due to the salt, woods, and green notes. This is woody, citrusy, and green with a salty aquatic note that places this firmly in the realm of 90s and 2000s sports fragrances. It's clean, fresh, and accessible, but thankfully without any of the modern-day ambroxan or sweet components that permeate the male fragrance world. Makes for a great daytime summer heater beater, terrible longevity (2 hours absolute max when worn outdoors) but it's extremely inexpensive so one can happily spray away with abandon. Personally, I've been wearing it poolside and at the gym in my apartment building. I bought this for $10 USD (100ml), and at that price (and if you can get it for under the $18 mark), it is hard not to like it for the enjoyable, fun nature of this fragrance. Do NOT overspend on acquiring this fragrance just because Chris from Scent Land hypes it up. You will regret it if you spend more than $18 to $20 on it, that I can promise you. It smells like a literal $18 to $20 type of fragrance, and, in my opinion, it's decent, but it's not an actual hidden gem and does not deserve the over-the-top praise that Chris gives it. There is nothing groundbreaking here, and while this doesn't smell "cheap" in a bad way at all, I would also say that it doesn't smell above its price point in terms of overall quality either. They don't smell alike at all, but if I'm honest, I'd recommend spending a little extra and buying Acqua di Gio EDT purely in terms of it being a better quality fragrance for just a little extra expenditure (it can be found for ridiculously cheap prices these days online) if someone is after a 90s summer fragrance type of vibe like this. I would only wear this for casual daytime occasions (at the gym, by the pool or beach, etc.). Because it's so cheap, this is worth buying to use as a throwaway summer heater beater. Excellent Italian colonia style inexpensive fragrance. Citrus: check, Herbs: check, Woods: check. More of a summer vibe scent, but on them cold weather days when you are giving yourself the full body treatment and wearing something nicer for lunch or dinner, this will help you to feel the full 100%. A slight creamy citrus & spa undertone in the dry-down. Excellent buy, worth every penny. I love it.
