The Essence

I was so impressed with this fragrance that I turned around bought another from marshalls. (Here today, gone forever) It smells like lemon, vanilla, myrrh, musk and sandalwood. For the price, it is excellent value. ($12.99) Lasts about 4-6 on skin and lingers for a day on clothes.

This literally smells like an orange creamsicle to me I love it. Such a nice vanilla note in the dry down this is a really excellent cheapie. Strong sillage and long lasting I'm gonna stock up on a second bottle

Smells first and foremost like fruity pebbles cereal with some wood, some powder, very weak iris, and a sour lemon cleaner fruity nuance. It ends with a surprisingly accurate amber note with vanilla. It's not as bad as it might sound, but does smell inexpensive. It costed me $12.99 USD but smells like a whole $25 👍 It has very little lasting power. The bottle is very attractive; the atomizer is good. If you had a pure leather fragrance to layer with this or something similarly deep, dry, or woody, that would be cool. 6.7/10 PS. To my nose the notes together smell like lemongrass. Smelled this in warmer spring today. It smelled like straight vanilla extract.

Bought a bottle of this at TJ Maxx today. For $12, it's a great scent. The above pyramid would have you think that this is a complex oriental... but really, it's not. It's a very light, transparent scent with the power of only a "mist" or "voile"... not even EDC strength. I'm basically getting lemon, vanilla and myrrh, and not a whole lot else. Evanescent, and leaves a delicate kind of "sugar cookie" smell. Perfectly unisex. I'll probably use it as a spray for my linens. A cheap, pleasant smell-good.

I bought this Tacchini The Essence in Marshalls for $13 after checking 2 reviews here. And I totally regret. It sillage is TOO WEAK on my skin, I have to put my nose close to about 2 inches to hear the smell. It's a mix of orange, spice, and vanilla, but the weak sillage might suit those who prefer a subtle fragrance without bothering those nearby

Smells like a slightly weaker version of Gypsy Water by Byredo without the Amber note. That doesn't mean that it's a bad fragrance at all. My go-to cheapie, as it is $12.99 in most places you can find it. Lasts about 4 hours on my skin, but it's pleasant while it's on. It'll get you 80% of what Gypsy Water provides, slightly less sillage (about an arm's length), but for 1/10th of the price, it's a no-brainer IMO.

I found this little edt bottle at TJMaxx for $4 dollars, obviously it got my attention lol. I was looking for something sweet and soft for the hot hot hot summer, and yes, this works for me. I didn’t know this was a men cologne until I decided to look for the notes. I can definitely smell the vanilla and it lasts about 6 hours, skin scent as I like it.

It smells pretty good with all the notes as described, but I like much more Uomo from Tacchini (one of my all-time-favourites since the nineties !) Unfortunately the sillage of Essence is soooooo weak. When I read the reviews below I ́m not the only one with this opinion...

Uhh for the price you can find this it’sa No Brainer Excellent fragrance . If you picked this up for less than 15$ and are disappointed, ,... in any type of way, shape, or form, then YOU yourself must be the disappointment. 🫶 for little over 10$ this is a 10/10 IMO
