In Love Someday

I love this fragrance but I fear that true gourmand lovers expecting a gooey marshmallow will be disappointed. It’s definitely a candied iris that dries down to a lipstick-y iris on my skin. It’s got a musky clean laundry accord that makes me super excited to wear it this summer. It’s not super sweet at all. It’s a marshmallow musk like the one from Irfe or DBIR Ivory. It’s not a super sweet “youthful” marshmallow like Kayali. It’s an elevated iris marshmallow. It’s lovely.

I never would have gone for a vanilla marshmallow gourmand in the past, but something about this one is irresistibly pleasant. The opening is very vanilla -- almost like pure vanilla extract. The fragrance as a whole is undeniably sweet, but it never tips into sickening territory. There's something airy about it. I've had a test strip next to my bed for three nights now, and as I fall asleep I keep getting whiffs of this delightful purple marshmallow cloud.

Very sweet, very creamy opening and quite strong. A small spray is powerful. I was hoping to get more powdery and “purple” notes. On the other hand, this will be great layering with my iris, powdery fragrances I already own.

Fluffy gooey purple marshmallows with sugar crystals and iris flower. So delicate and beautiful. The best marshmallow scent and super long lasting. That dry down is insannnneeeeee!!!

This is so unbelievably good. I didn’t even like Iris before trying this and now I love it. A marshmallow dream.

Smells a lot like Bianco Latte but a little more floral. I really like it. Great blind buy.

Lucky Charms marshmallows, or Urban Decay edible body powder... Does anyone else remember that product from the early 2000s/maybe 2009, 2010? It was a shimmering edible body powder in marshmallow flavor. Came in a cute little box with a leopard print puff. Anyways, this fragrance smells extremely similar to that. It brings me back to when I was like 11 and used to just eat the powder straight out of the box. I enjoy the fragrance but the projection is honestly bad. And when the brand says to not smell it right after spraying, listen to that. I let curiosity get the best of me and it smelled like straight up Band-Aids at first. Nice purple marshmallow scent after it dries.. I also get whiffs of root beer. I also feel like this scent is pretty linear and doesn't really change over time, other than when it initially dries. It doesn't have many notes so maybe that's to be expected.

Initially it’s a beautiful marshmallow and creamy vanilla, but later it settles into somewhat medicinal powdery , almost bitter iris scent on me. Not sure what I feel about this development. Overall I do like iris but here it’s not balanced out enough by other notes for my liking. Still, it’s a very pretty scent

This is predominantly marshmallow forward. Iris is a powdery note and the candied Iris in this gives it a very strong sensation of that powder that coats marshmallows. The vanilla milkshake note gives it a strong and complimentary creamy element that many marshmallow perfumes are lacking. This is amazing 10 out of 10. If you are anosmic to some marshmallow perfumes like I am, I think that this has enough interplay of notes to make you be able to smell it quite clearly. It's also very strong which I love. There's no floral scent to it so the iris is not giving that. It just smells like a intense purple marshmallow. Sniff with steff on TikTok compared it to a purple peep Easter candy and I could totally see that. It's not straight Marshmallow because there's other things going on with it but it's so well blended that it comes off as a nuanced intense marshmallow similar to a peep. I got a 15ml decant from fragmint which is the only seller in the United States and I am definitely upgrading to a full bottle. I've layered this with a number of perfumes to give marshmallow oomph and it totally works layered or on its own. Great with YBM!

All that (over-the-top) hype and only three (plus this one) reviews. In the words of Mr. Plant..."Oooooh...it makes we wonder" This is not a fluffy white (or fluffy purple...or fluffy anything) whipped cream marshmallow perfume. There are plenty of those...just watch the lovely (theatrically talented) Ashley Delgado ( @ashleymariedelgado) proclaim (and illustrate) *Marshmallow March* on INSTAGRAM. There's a *texture* in here I can't define. (Is that you, Iris?) None of this is to imply that I don't like it. In fact ~ I DO like it. I'll play around layering it with all sorts of perfumes. I'm sure it'll work with everything....bar none....everything. It'll be a terrific flavor-enhancer....like MSG in Chinese food or an extra sprinkle of salt on an order of French Fries.

Finally received this after a long wait. I absolutely love purple flower forward fragrances, and I also love marshmallow notes, so this should be a marriage made in heaven for me. You need to be warned that Iris and Violet can be tricky and you have to love those notes to love this fragrance. This is SO purple flower forward and very little marshmallow which disappoints me. There is nothing gourmand about it. I was expecting a super fluffy marshmallowy pillow cloud of a purple fragrance. This is not that – it’s way closer to a purple fragranced laundry detergent.

This was just delivered to my house, a 100ml... initial spray smells like heavy Iris & very light marshmallow! To give you an exact description it smells identical to a Strawberry Babydoll head from the 80’s... if you’re younger & don’t know what that smells like think of a plastic babydoll head that light plastic smell with a faint marshmallow notes added! Will let it sit for a couple months for an updated as of now... it’s OK definitely not in the league of Delizia & What the Fluff

Opening was ok because of the iris but then it quickly fell into biano latte territory, which i don’t mind because I love it but I already have that and Celeste. So I would say if you don’t have Celeste and you like iris get your nose on this but o already have a few of this scent profile . Plus I have the delizia di marshmallow which this also reminds me of because of the marshmallow . If you have that, bianco latte or Celeste this one really isn’t needed

In my personal opinion if you take 'What The Fluff' OR Delizia and mixed it 50/50 with DUA'S marshmallow 2.0, and added an iris note...this is what you have. I waited 2 weeks for this in the mail to be completely underwhelmed and thought wow, I already have at least 3 or 4 other scents JUST like this that I could have just layered. Do I think it's an OK marshmallow, yes. Do I think it's the BEST marshmallow or groundbreaking, absolutely not.

I get absolutely no marshmallow. But this is the closest I've gotten to a fragrance smelling like pure vanilla extract. So I'd say the predominant fragrance for me is purely vanilla extract milkshake, and it reminds me of Cheirosa 59s extremely sweet sister. It's also exceptionally potent. I literally do two sprays and walk through the mist, so that it's not chemical warfare. It is nice though, just not a marshmallow fragrance.

This is a beautiful sweet vanilla gourmand. I'd say it has a similar flare to Bianco Latte, but it's not nearly as sweet and sickly. In love Someday strikes the perfect balance between vanilla and airy iris. It's so dreamy and mesmerizing. Also, I have to give them credit for the beautiful bottle design.

A purple meringue sparkling with sugar crystals. Dries down to dairy-free caramel and doll’s head. A super nostalgic sweet treat by an Australian indie brand that deserves to be hyped and celebrated.

beautiful candied iris & powdery sweet vanilla-marshmallow. not ooey gooey, but powdery soft, fluffy, and sweet. i will continue wearing my sample, but this might turn into a full size bottle!

@arachnoslut I was in LOVE with the UD edible body powder!!!!! I think it was called honey powder or honey dust. You’re right this smells so similar but with a little earthier depth to it.

This smells like Tihota in terms of that true vanilla extract smell. Except this has much better performance and is more interesting with the marshmallow and violet notes
