Immortal Shade

Definitely Powdery Vanilla! This perfume gives a clean feeling. I will evaluate all Seven Gates perfumes under three headings: 1- Scent composition and longevity 2- Which seasons is it suitable for? 3- How did it make me feel? 1- When I first sprayed it, it gave me the Althaïr DNA. The transitions between the notes and the smooth vanilla are the biggest factors in this. As with the Seven Gates perfumes I've tried (this is the 5th or 6th one), the raw material quality is top-notch. You feel that it's a niche perfume. After the drying stage, it definitely smells like powdery vanilla. In my opinion, it's Althaïr version 2.0, meaning instead of cloying vanilla, it uses a powdery, slightly smoky vanilla. 1- It's a very long-lasting unisex perfume. It really has around 12 hours of lasting power and a considerable amount of sillage; this perfume would suit a woman as well. Definitely unisex. 2- I'm trying this perfume towards the beginning of summer, almost 18°C. It's very suitable for winter, but I don't think I'll use it much in summer, maybe in spring. If you're a Vanilla man/woman who wants to smell good and not take risks, you should definitely give this perfume a chance. 3- This perfume is a masterpiece made with quality materials, smelling beautiful, feeling clean, and having a nostalgic touch. I've made this review a few times, but Maïa Lernout has definitely achieved it. Note: I will review all the perfumes of this brand and share them with you. Peace!

Moderate longevity, intimate silage but an amazing perfume. Can be an option for those who love the fragrances like Guerlain SDV, dark boozy vanille with incense. Of course the scent has nowhere near the perfection of SDV has, but it’s the best alternative I’ve come across to from the same scent profile. Nevertheless, if we stop comparing it to SDV, it smells amazing!

this fragrance is acutally undescribable in few words, it's the darkest and deepest vanilla ever experienced. An incredible vanilla almost smokey but also powdery Immortal shade is the reinterpretation of Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss" like the painting a dominant figure (male ) with a soft and elegant figure on the other side (female) embracing in a forbidden kiss.

Some context first, because this bottle comes with geography. Seven Gates was born out of Nokta Parfümeri — a legendary perfume shop in Istanbul, the kind of place people make pilgrimages to in Nişantaşı and Bağdat Caddesi. The Turkish ultra-niche scene is tiny, and that's exactly what makes this special: it's not a brand cosplaying heritage, it grew out of an actual counter where people have been smelling things for decades. Now the fragrance. I'm going to say something strange and I need you to trust me on this: Immortal Shade smells like Trileçe. If you don't know it — it's the Balkan/Turkish take on tres leches, a sponge cake drowned in sweet milk, topped with runny caramel. That is this fragrance, note for note. A loosened, almost liquid caramel. Sugared milk. Fruity tones humming somewhere deep underneath. And this warmth at the base, like the bottom of the cake caught slightly in the oven — a toasted, crisped edge that keeps the whole thing from being pure syrup. On my skin the drydown is a thin, flowing cream. Not heavy, not suffocating — it moves. There's also talk of a tea note in this, and here's my theory: it's the small tulip-shaped glass of black tea that gets served next to a slice of trileçe in every café in Istanbul. If that was intentional, it's genius. If it wasn't, it's even better. Would I blindly recommend it? Honestly, I'm not sure. But if you're a gourmand lover who thinks you've smelled everything, this weird, delicious, out-of-left-field kid will confuse you in the best way. And I mean "confuse" as a compliment.

#1663 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this as a decant from scentsplit.com. My first experience with Seven Gates. I don’t know of any scents that come off exactly like this. I think if you added an Earl Grey Tea note to Xerjoff “Cruz Del Sur I” it would be close. Maybe Welton London “Keemun” (really hard to find now). Maybe Roccobarocco “Pour Homme." The tea note is definitely the dominant note here and the rest are supporting players. It’s a nice scent, decent quality, inoffensive for any setting, certainly formal office appropriate, even good for date nights. But at $290 a bottle, I just don’t feel that strongly about it. It is a fragrance that I always want to have It is a brand that has just launched its products on the market, but they are very curious, very talented and hardworking in this business I think everyone with a nose should definitely find a decant and then buy it, it is a scent that I use all the time in all my vanilla tobacco perfumes, longevity is amazing, silage is incredibly good, in every aspect I think it is a perfume that should be on the best list, All perfumes in the series are open to general appreciation, but at the same time unique I've been using it for 2 weeks now, but it's on the list of the best ever for me, Then there's the Heroin perfume in the series, oh my god it's really addictive as said, it's an incredibly good iris unisex, when I used it, everyone asked what I used, the smell is really different and very good If anyone can do it, should definitely take a decant from the whole series, amazing things can come out from this Turkish home!!!

A fragrance inspired by Klimt's Kiss -- screened into the metaverse. As I am a lover of this painting, which I consider one of the greatest masterpieces of art, I think that actually Klimt already anticipated this concept. A painting that is placed in an undefined background, with a tender kiss as the protagonist that catapults the two lovers into a parallel world, made of feelings and transcending from all reality. The interpretation that is given to this is done by a perfume with a vanilla that is not sweet but profound, like the true feeling, a myrrh that immerses us even more in the depth of the feeling by enveloping us in a very elegant, slightly gourmand cloud. Beautiful, warm and distinctive.
