English Cherry Blossom

Am I supposed to love this? A guy falling in love with a cherry fragrance? I can't help it. Somehow it reminds me of starch ironed shirts. Pristine and utterly clean. No, this is not your typical plastic, sticky, bubblegum cherry. This is fabulous. Light and slightly warm, fruity yet refined. An act of balance made to perfection. You guess it, I love it.

Delightful and easy to wear. A fresh, pretty, floral scent which is perfect for Spring.

Pretty and feminine are what comes to mind first when I smell this, nothing about this wows me like other perfumes but it’s pleasant and I like it. I see what people mean by it smelling like shampoo but to me that’s a positive, I like that it’s a very clean and fresh smell. I don’t think I’d wear this all the time or even out and about since I have better perfumes in my collection but I’d still wear this in the comfort of my own home. It would be perfect to put on after a shower (especially for me since my shampoo and conditioner are cherry blossom scented) and I could perhaps see myself layering it with something else to give it that extra kick it needs, I’ll have to experiment! But yeah if you want something, floral and feminine that makes you feel pretty but isn’t too in your face, perfect for work or school then I’d say that this is a really good pick. I’ll definitely try it out a few more times and update if my opinions change since this has definitely grabbed my attention as I’m trying to get into more floral scents recently.

A pretty, very feminine scent. Not as fresh as I thought it might be. Very floral and fruity in equal measure on the opening. There is also some sweetness at the start but on the dry down the bergamot and woods are more evident. You now also get more actual realistic juicy cherry. It almost smells like a watered down, thankfully less sweet version of Guerlains little black dress. A nice scent to wear on casual and relaxed days. Moderate longevity and low spillage.

Oddly enough ths scent reminds me of Avon's Fleur. The notes are completely different. However, they both turn on my skin pretty sour, and realtively the same scent. I liked thi frangrance well enough, but ept feeling a familiarity. And than it hit me. Fleur, it is. The longevity on my skin was fenomenal though. 7+ hours (well, 4 of them were lightly projecting skin scent only.)

Not unisex at all, I personally think this is very feminine. I would LOVE to smell more 'feminine' scents on guys though! It's a floral fragrance, sweet cherry great for all weathers and occasions. Moderate lasting power and sillage. I finished my bottle and wouldn't be repurchasing as it's pretty strong when oversprayed and I became sick of it

Very pleasant smell, but rather a cherry or something like sour cherry dominates in it. It's made on woody base, but it does not feel anything, such as bergamot not much, but more vanilla. I feel that what the artist wanted to make, but it would be better to dominate the individual fragrance ingredients! Too closeness fragance lot of money!

This is less fruity and more floral. Cherry blossom, woods, some bergamot and an odd note like almond or maybe some vanilla orchid without the sharpness. This definitely has a creamy vanilla vibe to it. It's okay. Nothing out of this world. Very close to the skin. Soft and reminiscent of baby care products.

Shampoo floral with a bit of sourness. I get a bit astringent note. Wish there was a note in the base to make this a bit more smoother. However, a pretty feminine scent for those who love cherry blossom.

This is a beautiful take on cherry blossom. It doesn't just disappear like some cherry blossom scents. Its very feminine and perfect for Spring. Gorgeous.

Light, bright, sweet and peppery. A blind buy. It's nice. Not a show stopper but very pretty.

Floral, sweet, nothing insane. I'm not driven crazy but it's not an offensive scent.

If you are sensitive to bad ambroxan (I think there are nice fragrances with ambroxan sometimes) then stay well away from this one. I think this was my least favourite of a set of 5 that I bought from Shay and Blue (included Framboise Noire, Black tulip, blood oranges, Atropa belladonna), which overall really disappointed me. This is a very hairspray style fragrance to me, I understand what people mean by shampoo but it's not as soft and smooth as that unfortunately. I resold my giftset as I knew I wouldn't ever want to use 10ml of any of these. Try these in store before you purchase. If you are in the UK, M&S may still stock them. I did try before buying but many years ago and I am wondering whether they have been reformulated because I didn't remember them smelling so unpleasant to me.

Oh no, this makes me shudder. Cacophonic notes, cherry and woods, nauseating also surprisingly strong. Probably not this perfume's fault, I just really dislike this group and I am usually not a fan of cherry scents. There we have it. Try before you buy.

It is ok but it is too sheer for me to buy a full bottle. I get more sour cherry then cherry blossom. I think I have tried every cherry type frag that comes down the pipeline in hopes of finding a perfect one. Actually this comes kinda close , maybe if I layer with vanilla because I want a sweeter denser base. As I'm writing this it is growing on me.

Glorious cherry blossom opening but dries down to a cheap shampoo smell. I wish they spend a little more effort on having a better drydown. This could have been very wonderful.
