Melrose Apple Blossom

This was definitely not what I expected but man is it good! This does definitely open with apple blossoms and they smell so airy and sweet, like a fresh spring/summer day. Then you quickly get the salted toffee and it's not very strong and not overtly sweet, it's a mild sweetness, but the salt is definitely there. The apple is definitely noticeable too, and it feels like a fiji apple, fruity and crisp, not too sweet like a red apple and not too sour like a green one. I think this smells like a real life caramelized apple, because irl they don't smell crazy sweet or overtly sweet in your face, it's a subtle sweetness, like a waft of it as you pass by. That's what I get here. I don't think the apple as a fruit is the main focus here, it's the apple blossoms, and I think I'm totally fine with that. I also don't mind that it's not a gourmand. The lemon bamboo starts to take over as it really gets to the heart and this is where I really began to love this. The lemon is so crisp and bright, the bamboo so green, fresh, and earthy. The bamboo becomes the most prominent note and it's such an airy, aquatic, and fresh green note it makes me smile. The full dry down is supposed to be solely cool chilled amber and it's definitely that. I don't always love amber but this one isn't woody or resinous or warm, it's literally a chilled and cooled amber. It's a fresher take on amber, slightly sweet, with lingering apple blossoms. This scent is definitely green and floral forward.

This fragrance is better than I've expected it to be! Fresh, juicy, tangy, almost sparkling with just a little sweetness to it. Melrose Apple Blossom smells like dry apple cider to my nose. It's simply mouth-watering. This isn't a complex composition and its performance is moderate. However, this is an uplifing & delightful fruity scent with floral nuances.

Delightful! A nice spun sugar kind of sweetness with a hint of fruit. Does not cross the line into overly sweet. On my skin I get little to no florals, a lot of candy apple, and a dry plant smell that must be the bamboo and salt. It's a nice combination I haven't encountered before!

It's fine. It smells like apple shampoo. Doesn't last very long and doesn't project very far.

floral-lemon blast of an opening upon first spray, so strong i couldn't smell anything else! after a bit you can start to sense the candy apple, and it's actually pretty good! i'm not a huge floral guy so that was kind of intense and migraine-inducing for me, but the candy apple and salt notes are nice. not getting bamboo or amber though. blends really nicely with my skin, turns sweeter than it was in the bottle. the candy apple turns more caramel apple for me. overall, i really like this, minus the clorox-adjacent initial impression. i've got a 1 fl oz bottle looking for a good home!
